I generally try to avoid doing walks past dark, for the safety of your loved one and myself alike, but as long as you have a quiet, well lit street by your house, I’m open to walks past dark in the winter months as needed - I’ll bring multiple flashing lights to be safe.
Information Erica T. would like to know about your pet
Meeting you together with your loved one ahead of time is very important to me, even if only for a few minutes. Animals, like many people, are creatures of habit and my goal is generally to try to mimic their usual care as closely as possible for the least disruption to their physical and mental health. - Any favorite treats or toys. - How they feel about affection and whether they have any areas where they do or do not like to be touched. - Any known medical conditions, allergies, medications, and contact information for their vet. - Any information about how they react to other people or animals around them, including any fears or triggers, and how you typically respond to calm them. - Any behavioral concerns and how you typically respond to correct or guide them towards a more positive behavior.
A typical day
If playing, such as fetch, is part of your dog’s daily outing routine, I’m happy to incorporate play time into walks! If you like, I can also occasionally take your loved one on short car trips to nearby trails.

I do this out of love
Pet care experience
I believe the way we treat animals is a litmus test of our humanity. “We always speak of rights of man[], but we forget that besides his rights, man has his responsibilities as well.” Here, Rukmini Devi Arundale is referring to the fundamental responsibility of man towards animals as a steward, a belief that I try my best to embody each day with sincerity and humility. . I’ve cared for dogs and cats for most of my childhood and adult life. I currently live with 4 cats and a very elderly, toothless dachshund. I also spent many years caring for horses, chickens, and rabbits. . I keep a small number of clients and prioritize maintaining strong working relationships built on earned trust. At this time I’m only accepting new bookings for walks and I’m focusing on the Aspenwood and Lexington neighborhoods, where I grew up as a kid and where I live now. . When I’m not working, I enjoy a slow, quiet, contemplative life. I’m usually either practicing meditation or studying philosophy. . Please reach out, I would love to meet you and your loved one! . Of note - If you’re struggling to find quality help walking your dog due to finances, just let me know and I’ll see what I can do!

Attentive, communicative, and reliable! QQ A

Erica was wonderful. Great communication and updates. Our Bruce seemed very happy upon our return and the house was clean and in order. We definitely recommend and will look to book again!

Erica has walked Shadow for me for over a year a few times per week. She is friendly, caring and sweet. She lets me know if advance when she will be traveling. She is flexible with accommodating my changing schedule. I recommend Erica!

We highly recommend Erica!! Great communication, kind, animal lover, can't say enough good things. She did great with our dog Rook :)
