I believe the way we treat animals is a litmus test of our humanity. “We always speak of rights of man[], but we forget that besides his rights, man has his responsibilities as well.” Here, Rukmini Devi Arundale is referring to the fundamental responsibility of man towards animals as a steward, a belief that I try my best to embody each day with sincerity and humility. . I’ve cared for dogs and cats for most of my childhood and adult life. I currently live with 4 cats and a very elderly, toothless dachshund. I also spent many years caring for horses, chickens, and rabbits. . I keep a small number of clients and prioritize maintaining strong working relationships built on earned trust. At this time I’m only accepting new bookings for walks and I’m focusing on the Aspenwood and Lexington neighborhoods, where I grew up as a kid and where I live now. . When I’m not working, I enjoy a slow, quiet, contemplative life. I’m usually either practicing meditation or studying philosophy. . Please reach out, I would love to meet you and your loved one! . I generally try to avoid doing walks past dark, for the safety of your loved one and myself alike, but as long as you have a quiet, well lit street by your house, I’m open to walks past dark in the winter months as needed - I’ll bring multiple flashing lights to be safe.

Erica was wonderful. Great communication and updates. Our Bruce seemed very happy upon our return and the house was clean and in order. We definitely recommend and will look to book again!
Erica has walked Shadow for me for over a year a few times per week. She is friendly, caring and sweet. She lets me know if advance when she will be traveling. She is flexible with accommodating my changing schedule. I recommend Erica!

Erica was great with Harry! She was on time, took him for a walk, and adjusted the walk (and let us know) when she noticed one of his pre-existing scratches had opened up. She also followed his dinner routine perfectly. Would definitely have Erica watch Harry again!
Erica was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond in her care of our animals and our home. Truly a wonderful person and exceptional sitter!
