“I was so pleased to discover this option for boarding our dogs. When we met Christel before our stay I could tell she loves dogs and she’s good with them. I left feeling totally comfortable with them staying with Christel and her family for a long weekend. My dogs are big Great Pyrenees and Christel took them for walks and handled everything. She even set-up and took-down the huge sleeping crates we brought. During the trip Christel sent so many pictures and updates. My dogs were always smiling and playing and I could tell she loved having them. It felt like my doggies were at a sleep-away camp, they had so much fun! All throughout she was so easy to work with and flexible. Christel gave my dogs so much personal attention that I think they came back better trained than when I left them! My dogs had an amazing time in a big backyard where they played with their sweet resident dog and were loved by a family. It was perfect.”

I started working with Rover in 2018 to motivate myself to get out of the house on dog walks and have expanded my services over time to offer house sitting as well. I love being outdoors and take long walks. I can do drop-in visits or stay overnight when necessary. I am also good with cats or other animals. I can watch your dog in your house if you allow that or crate a dog if needed. Will follow the feeding schedule and make sure to keep fresh water available. About: I’m an experienced, dependable dog lover with two active, playful dogs of my own, and I have previous house-sitting experience caring for other people’s dogs. I enjoy providing dogs of all sizes with engaging playtime, regular walks, and attentive care. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs, including helping reinforce basic training and routines. I will keep unsafe or non-pet-friendly items securely out of reach and follow your preferences for collars, harnesses, leashes, and outdoor safety. For walks, car rides, and any time spent outside the home, I will make sure your pet is properly secured. I will maintain their regular feeding and potty schedule, provide frequent outdoor breaks, and keep them engaged with activities they enjoy, such as fetch, tug-of-war, or other favorite games. Most importantly, I will provide plenty of companionship, attention, and affection so your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for while you are away.

She follows all our instructions perfectly (including feeding and exercise routines) and is super flexible; when our flights have been delayed or even canceled, she’s happily accommodated the changes without hesitation.
