About: I have taken care of animals since I was a pre-teen, but fell in love with animal care fully in my junior year of high school, after I began volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter. Since then, I have changed positions and worked as a post-surgery volunteer with PAWS, transporting and handling anesthetized animals after they underwent surgeries. This summer I am also interning at PAWS again, this time as a Foster Care Intern, where I manage the entire foster care system behind the scenes. Additionally, I have worked with large animals such as horses while volunteering, dairy cattle, and pigs as my job on the side. I will continue to grow my portfolio, as I am a Pre-Vet Animal Science major at Washington State University with the goal of becoming a veterinarian one day. I am currently on summer break in my hometown (Everett) and have pretty open availability. I intern at paws from 8am-12pm on Sundays & Mondays, and 12-5pm on Thursdays, but other than that, I am free for walks, house sitting, or drop ins! Safety is extremely important during both house sitting & walks! For walks, I like to make sure dogs stay on the side of the sidewalk away from the road, as well as being properly harnessed and equipped with essential needs like poop bags and water incase of an emergency. I also keep a sharp eye out for other dogs to steer clear from unwanted interactions. Additionally, during house sitting, outside doors stay locked at all times, and your pet is watched 24/7. No escapes will happen on my watch! I am open to following any other rules, expectations or suggestions you have regarding your pet & house’s safety!
“I appreciate Mishie's flexibility: She is new to us and was not planning on starting for several more weeks with my pup but I picked up extra shift and Mishie was available with a little rearranging of the day she made sure my Bella had a good walk and some attention to break up her day while I was at work. Thank you for taking the time and the care for put little velociraptor.”

“Austin has become a part of the family!! We couldn’t be happier with his service. He’s attentive, loving, and hard working. Our youngest dog was a new rescue and his behavior and manners have improved ten fold thanks to a Austin’s consistent walking and training.”
“Adam helped walk Koa our female rottie while we were on vacation for 12 days. He was dependable and very polite. He has a unique combination of leadership and a gentle spirit that made him a great fit for out girl. I highly recommend him.”

I currently have 4 children that range in ages the youngest being an infant, please make sure your pups are good with small children. About: I've had years of experience taking care of my own pets and also worked as a pet groomer for many years. I've had many animals throughout my life dogs, cats, ferrets, tortoises you name it. I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule during the week and my weekends are wide open to spend time with your pets or have them over at my house. I have a fenced backyard and two dogs of my own that love to run and play with other dogs. While your pet is with me they are part of our family.
About: As an animal lover myself, I understand how stressful busy schedules can be for our fur babies (and their parents)! I have a flexible schedule and lots of belly scratches to give, so let me help you! Dogs have always been an integral part of my life and I currently have two of my own, Enzo and Bru. I have experience with puppies, seniors, handicapped dogs and have owned a variety of them all at one time or another. I have fostered shelter babies, cared for malnourished babies until they were healthy again, and cared for dogs after major surgeries as well. No dog is too small or too big. If I can help, please let me know! I currently have an open and flexible schedule with no unavailable days or times. I recently moved to Washington from Louisiana and am doing side work until school starts later this year. The safety of your pet is my highest priority (even above giving belly rubs), and I believe good communication is key for successful care. Whatever needs your pet has, I will do my absolute best to fulfill those needs while keeping them safe and happy.
“Jocelyn is so great with our dog! Our lab has some funny habits, so it’s always great to find a match that works so well. She came a day early for a meet and greet, was on time and had great walks with our girl. Jocelyn was always very communicative as well, which we appreciated very much. Can’t wait to book more walks in the future! Highly recommended!”

About: I’ve had a love for dogs for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was little, I was always the first to volunteer for dog walks, pet sitting, or any opportunity to spend time caring for animals. Over the years, I became the go-to person for family, friends, and neighbors needing someone they could trust with their pets, giving me more than 20 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I previously had a Golden Retriever who lived to 12 years old and a Lhasa Apso/Yorkie mix who lived to the incredible age of 18, both of whom were deeply loved members of my family. I currently have a gentle 17-year-old cat, a friendly 4-year-old English Cream Golden Retriever, and will soon be welcoming a corgi puppy into our home as well. Our home is very pet-friendly, and my two boys (18 and 7) have grown up around animals and love helping give visiting pets extra attention and affection. I understand how important it is to find someone you can fully trust with your pets, because I know firsthand that they truly are family. I take pride in creating a safe, loving, and comfortable environment where pets feel cared for, relaxed, and at home. Whether your dog loves playtime, cuddles, walks, or simply companionship, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention and care while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet and care for your furry family member! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I am available for weekend boarding and can often accommodate weekday stays with advance notice. With a flexible schedule and a pet-friendly home, I have plenty of time to provide walks, playtime, cuddles, and individualized care. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to make their stay feel like a home away from home. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take time to learn each pet's routine, preferences, and any special needs before their stay so I can provide care that feels as familiar as possible. In my home, pets are treated like family and are never left without appropriate supervision for extended periods. I provide regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, fresh water, meals according to their schedule, and plenty of affection. I understand that every pet is different, so I adjust my approach based on their personality and comfort level. Whether your pet loves to play, go for walks, or simply relax nearby, I strive to create a calm, safe, and welcoming environment. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.

I’ve fostered bottle babies up to geriatric kitties with various medical needs. I've pet sat for friends and people who have adopted my foster cats, including any other pets they may have at home- like dogs and tortoises. Currently I am a stay at home parent. I am available for daily walks, drop ins or house sitting at your home. I am looking forward to building a trusting and fun relationship with your pet. I am located in North Everett. At this time I have a flexible schedule which gives me the availability to plan around your pets individual needs. At this time I can not offer constant care. Pets will need to be able to be left alone for 5 hours during the day. I like to keep the pets on their schedule and adhere to the owners care requirements. I will respect owner house rules and make the health and safety of an animal under my care a priority.

Emily was great! Availed herself last minute on Valentines Day to walk my little guy, not once but twice. She maintained communication throughout the entire time and I know my boy was well taken care! Thank you Emily, we will be reaching out again: Linus seemed happy and content!

Grace has been wonderful to work with. She’s always timely, communicates clearly and proactively, and most importantly — our dogs genuinely like and trust her. It gives us real peace of mind knowing they’re well cared for when she’s with them. We’d absolutely recommend her.
Maya has been great for our dog walking needs. She’s been super flexible and able to take a last minute walk which is always appreciated by my family. She’s always punctual and takes care of my dog like he’s her own. Can’t say enough good things, highly recommend!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
