“From the start, Kathy treated our little pom like her own and sent us lots of updates and pics. Being the only pup in her care allowed our Leila to settle in quickly with little or no anxiety which was important to us. We explained Leila has health issues and would need meds at specific times. This Kathy took in stride having had past dealings with pet illnesses. Still, she listened and asked questions about what issues Leila was experiencing, the meds she needed and when/how to administer. We left for our trip knowing our pup would receive outstanding care. We're almost certain Leila was not ready to come home with us from her vacation. She was treated like a princess!!! Kathy is absolutely amazing. My husband and I highly recommend her.”

About: Dog and cat owner for over 18 years. I also have had hermet crabs and an axolotl - love all animals! They all have a unique personality and it's so fun to get to know them. Just a girl who was not able to have animals as a child so I have an entire adulthood to make up for that surrounding myself with the best creatures out there - animals! We can learn so much as people from animals and showing how we care for animals reflects who we are. I currently am a mom at home with kids in school so I have availability during the day and am flexible for evenings as well. I have a dog, 2 cats and an axolotl. It's important animals feel safe with me so I let them take the lead and I engage with them when they show they are ready. About: I have loved and cared for dogs my whole life! I have volunteered at the Humane Society for several years walking dogs and making them feel loved. I also have taken in stray cats and made them feel special! I currently do not work so I am available anytime to see your pet! I love taking care of animals and seeing them makes my day! About: I have been around all different kinds of pets my whole life and have always played a part in looking after and caring for them. I am super close with animals and I love getting to know them and connecting with them on a deeper level as well. Family often relies on me to look after pets while out of town and I have also taken part in some pet sitting jobs outside of family that have included basic walks, day-time visits, and sometimes over-night stays. I am currently taking some college classes but still have a lot of free time throughout the week. I’m not working any other jobs either so I’m pretty flexible aside from when I need to be in class. I try to make sure pets feel comfortable with me in their homes while remaining respectful to their environment and routine. I think it’s important to remain flexible as all pets have wants and needs specific to them.

About: I'm a certified veterinary assistant. I've spent the past 6 years working in daycare boarding and rescue facilities. I have experience walking, feeding, bathing, medicating and microchipping. I am a stay at home mom, so I have plenty of time to spend with all types of animals. Doing a job like this allows me to spend more time with my family. I care for every animal differently depending on their needs/ their owners needs. I also use a slip lead while using a regular leash just in case one fails.
