Playing with animals is a hobby!
I cared for my dachshund Chili for 16 years before he passed away, and saw him through a range of health conditions and all of the age categories that require different types of care. My dog meant everything to me and deserved the best - I know what it's like to expect that as an owner and will do the same for your pet. I'm attentive to changes, will never take risks, and will be quick to act if necessary. I currently have my own medium-sized dog who we're training to be less reactive, so I understand having the occasional surprise during walks. I've worked in petting zoos and wildlife rehab centers, and I've been taught to handle everything from alligators to horses. Nothing phases me! Someday, I hope to run a nonprofit that provides mental health services while caring for rescued animals including dogs, and Rover will be a great experience.

Safety, trust & environment
The best way to keep animals safe AND happy at the same time is to have your eyes and attention on them as much as possible. I treat every animal as cautiously as possible, ready for every possible bolt, even if they're the most well-behaved good pup or kitty.

This was my first time using Rover. Kaylen cared for my cats Lenna and Kai for 9 days with short notice. She stopped by my home before the care started for a meet and greet. She also watched for a package- mail, and checked on my plants. She stayed in contact sending me pictures and notes. I would recommend Kaylen to care and trust with your pets .
Kaylen stayed with our two pups at our home for a week while we were on vacation. She sent lots of pictures during the week and followed our very detailed instructions, including giving one his daily meds. We felt very comfortable leaving our fur babies in her hands and we would love to have her stay with them again! She was easy to communicate with and set up a meet and greet and was flexible on start/end times due to our flights. She even offered to help get things ready for us when we got back (our returning flight landed very late at night). When we got home everything was just as we had left it, not even a dirty dish in the sink!
Very professional and sweet. She not only watched Kanna but wore her out so when I got home she was ready for bed. Perfect experience. Thanks so much!
Kaylen was wonderful. Super easy to schedule with, personable, and most importantly she took care of both our high maintenance cats and our house. Would book her again happily!
Didn’t get to meet Kaylen but fitz seemed satisfied when I came home! She was kind enough to feed him for me and come walk him last minute when my usual sitter fell through!
Good report, friendly, and Dwayne was in a good mood when i came home .

Currently I'm caring for pets full-time. My partner can watch our pets while I take yours on walks or stay with them overnight.
