Doggy retreat with me!
I have a 8-year old mini Australian Shepherd and a 5-year old standard Australian Shepherd! Since my last rover login, I took a break from sitting since my 17-year old cocker spaniel passed. He’s helped me so much with having guest dogs that it wasn’t the same without him. But in his honor, we’re back with my duo of adventure aussies!! My experience with dogs is very broad! Whether your dog is happy and energetic like my pups or mature and requires lots of attention like my old guy; I love my dogs to the fullest and I can love yours just as my own too! My pups love long walks and always ask to go to the dog park. They also know how to order a puppyccino from the drive-thru *face-palm*.My wife and I work from home, and we have a lot of time to spend with our dog-kids! Our aussies keep each other on point and we frequently adventure to just about everywhere. Camping, hiking, beach trips, this tradition has never changed. I keep my dogs clean and happy everyday no matter the mess that either decides to get into! Our pups are truly our kids and it doesn’t take much effort for us to treat yours as ours. We have two little humans now and that doesn’t stop us for our joy of caring for dogs! We love to have more pups over as it helps us keep Rex and Roo socialized as well!

We have a LARGE fenced backyard that we’re able to play fetch and frisbee in. It is clean and maintained as well as our home!

I have booked Rodney twice now, and both experiences have been excellent. Communication is always prompt and clear, and I received many photos and videos throughout her stay. My dog was clearly comfortable, happy, and well cared for each time. It’s such a relief knowing that Rodney and family are so reliable and trustworthy. I’ll definitely continue booking. I highly recommend them!

Rodney was amazing with my dog Willow over Christmas! He was super communicative and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. His whole family was so sweet and welcoming, and it was clear Willow felt right at home. He sent tons of updates and photos of her cozy on the couch and playing in the backyard, which I really appreciated. I will 100% use Rodney again in the future, and highly recommend him!
Excellent experience all around, we went on vacation and he kept the dog well fed and active, always sent photos and just always went above and beyond. For example he introduced my dog to his dog so mine wasn't so lonely while we were gone, and on Christmas he gave my dog a treat and extra time, and it is just little things like that which shows he really cared. I can't recommend him enough, if you need a dog walker, choose him!
I am so incredibly grateful for Rodney and his family and the care they gave my pups, Muffin and Willow, over the holidays. He watched our pups for just under two weeks and truly treated them like they were his own. Muffin specifically is a rescue and can be slow to warm up, needing extra patience, warmth, and understanding—and they exceeded every expectation. From the very beginning, it was clear how kind, attentive, and genuinely loving they were and were so good about sending daily updates with videos and pictures. I felt completely at ease knowing that Muffin and Willow were in such good hands over the holidays and it meant the world to see how comfortable and cared for they were. I cannot recommend Rodney more!! He is so amazing and caring and attentive. I will absolutely be using his services again and feel so lucky to have found him!

Schedule
My wife and I both work from home. I’ve made a healthy habit of 3 walks/day! Unless it’s raining then we change it up. Our pups see daily exercise either way! If the weather permits, any dog park or walking trail like thousand acres is on our list. EMPHASIS on the thousand acres visits.
