I’m currently a part time student online so majority of the time I am free to take care of animals this sometimes means more than one animal at a time unless previously mentioned ahead of time, especially with school, starting back up and everything online for the most part.

I usually care for pets in the clients home and that way the dog isn’t too overstimulated and I’m someone who likes keeping with routine if possible.

If your dog has seizures or any preferences on how to calm them down or if they get super excited it would be helpful to know what is the best method or how they are around strangers and what to do. Since each dog has their own preferences. A dog who is super cautious or reactive may not be the best fit for me at times and would need to be mentioned just in case.
A typical day
Fun activities can range from frisbee, dog waking, play ball, play with rope toys/tug of war, puzzles, hiking, dog park, basic commands for fun and swimming if able. I also include cuddles since that’s an activity and some dogs really like to just relax. Fun places for walks can range from parks, trails and dog parks.

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a child throughout adulthood. My family relied on me to walk, feed, clip nails, groom, give baths, give meds and occasionally use basic commands or stay the night when they are away. I use to even volunteer for animal shelters and foster puppies. I have experience with working with dogs who have seizures and being blind or deaf. I also have experience with giving cats an inhaler for asthma and putting on diapers for dogs. Lastly rover is my full time job so sometimes I get busier then most days with other pet clients meaning I’m in and out of residence at times so I can show what I have beforehand to see if I would be a good fit.
