Pet care experience
Your Pet = My Priority
Hi! I’m Paige, a lifelong animal lover and current graduate student. I’ve always had a soft spot for animals and would absolutely love to have a furry friend of my own someday. For now, though, graduate school doesn’t quite make pet ownership feasible – which is one of the reasons I’m excited to spend time caring for other people’s pets! I’m attentive, responsible, and genuinely invested in making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I know that leaving your pet with someone else requires a lot of trust, so I take that responsibility seriously. I’m happy to follow your pet’s routines and preferences closely, whether that means walks, playtime, medication, feeding schedules, extra cuddles, or simply keeping them company. I also believe good pet care starts with good communication. I’ll make sure you know how your pet is doing while you’re away and will treat your instructions, home, and pet with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I’d love to meet your furry family member and give them plenty of attention, affection, and companionship while you’re away! 🐾

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. Before a visit or stay, I make sure I understand your pet’s routine, needs, preferences, and any safety considerations so I can provide consistent care while you’re away. Growing up with dogs and fostering cats from a young age taught me to pay close attention to animals’ behavior and body language and to let them adjust at their own pace. I never assume every pet needs the same approach – some want lots of play and attention, while others need patience, space, and a quieter environment. I’m careful about doors, gates, leashes, food, medications, and other potential hazards, and I’ll follow your instructions closely. When caring for pets in your home, I’ll also be respectful of your space and leave things as I found them. Most importantly, I’ll keep you updated so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, comfortable, and in good hands.
Ratings and reviews
Amazing experience with Paige on all fronts. Our dogs LOVED her from the beginning. She is a great communicator, very flexible, reliable and fun. I will definitely book her again when I need a dog walker.

Paige is a very accomplished, caring and responsible woman and very knowledgeable about pet care. She is dependable and someone I would totally trust with my pets.

Full disclosure: Paige is my daughter! But I can honestly say that watching her grow up with animals has given me a firsthand view of the kind of pet caregiver she is. Paige grew up with animal siblings and was helping care for them from a very young age. She was always curled up with one of our dogs, from using them as little backrests while having a bottle as a baby, to full-on snuggles on the couch while watching a movie as she got older. She has always had a genuine love for animals. Over the years, we’ve had all kinds of dogs including puppies, challenging rescues, senior rescues, and most recently, a very quirky French Bulldog! Paige learned early on what it means to care for a pet: making sure they have fresh water and food, getting them out for walks and exercise, and giving them plenty of love and attention. As she got older, we trusted her to take full responsibility for the dogs whenever we were out of town. I love my dogs dearly and would never leave them with someone unless I had complete confidence in them. Paige is responsible, caring, patient, and trustworthy, and I know she takes the responsibility of caring for someone’s beloved pet very seriously. Her love for animals extends beyond dogs. She has also spent years caring for cats through our local shelter. The shelter would sometimes ask for help fostering cats that weren’t quite ready for adoption such as young kittens without a mother who needed frequent feedings and extra care, or sick adult cats who needed medication, patience, and nurturing. Those experiences taught her that caring for an animal isn’t always easy, but the commitment is incredibly rewarding. She learned firsthand the patience, responsibility, and compassion that animals sometimes require, and also the incredible joy that comes from helping an animal feel safe, loved, and cared for. I may be Paige’s mom, but that also means I’ve had a front-row seat to her lifelong love of animals. I would wholeheartedly trust her with my own pets, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone responsible, compassionate, and genuinely devoted to providing loving care for their animals.

Schedule
As a graduate student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to build pet care into my routine and give each pet the time and attention they need. I’m intentional about keeping my commitments manageable so I can be dependable and present when caring for your pet. I’m happy to coordinate around your pet’s usual routine, whether they need regular walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, or companionship. I’ll communicate clearly about my availability ahead of time and make sure your pet’s care is something I can genuinely commit to – not something I’m trying to squeeze in between other obligations.
