I’m a professional who works from home, and have flexibility in my day to come and drop in on your furry family members. I have had four Bernese mountain dogs, but I love all breeds and sizes. My “best cat friend” lived with me for 17 wonderful years, and I appreciate both lap cats and cats who prefer to love you from a distance. My top priority is making your pet feel safe and comfortable with me before we go and have some fun! I'm experienced with old and stubborn dogs, as well as young crazy puppies. I also have had cats for the majority of my life, ancient and young. I have been pet sitting for roughly 15 years, chiefly dogs and cats. I'm easy to get into contact with, and more than willing to give daily "pupdates" when I walk or watch your pet. I definitely live by the philosophy that our animal companions are family members, not just pets. Let me know if you have any questions!

Safety, trust & environment
Trust and safety are top priority—pets are our family members, and should be treated as such. I follow each owner's care instructions exactly, including feeding schedules, medication requirements, exercise routines, and any special needs. I use secure leashes, harnesses, and gates as appropriate to prevent escapes. I maintain a clean, calm, and low-stress environment, monitor pets closely for any changes in behavior or signs of illness, and communicate promptly with owners if I notice anything concerning. In the event of an emergency, I contact the owner immediately and seek veterinary care according to their emergency instructions. Trust is built through reliability and transparency, so I provide regular updates, photos, and honest communication throughout the visit or stay. My goal is to ensure every pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for as if they were my own.

Alex has been amazing! I reached out to her to take my dog, Ozzy, for walks twice a week, and he has absolutely been loving his mid-day walks with her. She is incredibly thorough with her post-walk updates, always sends plenty of pictures, and somehow manages to take the cutest photos of him every time! Alex is very responsive, reliable, and genuinely took the time to build a close bond with Ozzy. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing he’s with someone who truly cares about him and looks forward to spending time with him. I can tell how comfortable and excited Ozzy is with her, which means the world to me. I couldn’t recommend Alex enough to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and dependable to look after their pets. Ozzy and I are both so happy we found her!
Alex was such an amazing sitter for our boys! She took very good care of our kitties and made sure they were comfortable and happy. Definitely recommend her if you need someone to watch your pets!

Alex is responsible, hardworking, and reliable. She is always taking the time to fully understand whatever job she is tackling and pursues it with 100% of her effort. She not only loves dogs but truly draws energy and excitement from being around them. This allows her to not only do an excellent job, but to give animals the love and care which they deserve. Because of this selfless nature, she is an incredible caregiver and I would highly recommnend her service.
I've known Alex for a long time and she is our family's go to pet sitter. Whenever we go on vacation she always takes such good care of our pets and they love when they get to see her! She doesn't shy away from the dirty part of the job and is very in tune to what our animals require. I highly recommend her for any of your pet care needs.

Schedule
I work from home M-F, and generally have a flexible schedule. If your pet mostly just needs company, I’m happy to hang out with them and work from your home for a bit.

- I would like to know about any health conditions or allergies your pet has, their general energy level, and any sensitivities (I.e., they don't like to be approached by other dogs while leashed) they might have. I have more experience with large dogs, but I have also had a great deal of exposure to small breeds. For cats, I’ve seen it all—let me know if they yell for wet food at a specific time of day, if they hate any specific behaviors, all of their quirks!
