“Laura is fabulous! After several years our last rover moved. We found Laura. I met her and liked her gentleness and love for animals. We also wanted a place where our dog could play with other dogs. Winston came back happy! We already have another date on the calendar! Thanks Laura.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Romy! She took excellent care of Uni and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We received regular updates, photos, and could tell our dog was happy, comfortable, and well loved. Romy was reliable, communicative, flexible and treated our dog like her own. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring sitter.”

“Elena and Yuri were great to Tuck and easy to work with. They were flexible on times, asked great questions, kept me informed, and I could tell they really cared about my dog. Will definitely use them again.”

About: Caring for your dog will be the highlight of my day! I grew up with Bernese Mountain dogs and have always loved all animals. I’m very comfortable with large breeds as well as the responsibility that comes with caring for them day to day. Over the years, I’ve also watched friends’ dogs ranging from small poodle mixes to large labs, each with their own personalities and needs. I’m happy to take your dog on walks or do in-home drop-in visits. I’m someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals so I'll cherish the time I get to spend with yours! I’m attentive, calm, and treat pets like they’re my own, making sure they feel safe, cared for, and comfortable while you’re away. I'm working full time from home and have a very flexible job. I'm available to check in on your pet most days and am happy to come by whenever works best for you. I am happy to come and check in on your pet and give them whatever care is needed in your home or take them out for a walk.

“Xiaomeng was fantastic in taking care of my old girl. I love the pictures and videos she would send to keep me updated. My dog got sick while Xiaomeng was watching her and she was kind in keeping me informed and taking care of her. I felt so bad she had to deal with that but Xiaomeng reassured me she was okay and we talked about the best course of action to help my dogs stomach issue. I really appreciate her attentiveness and communication.”

“We had a fantastic experience boarding with Patricia! She was always quick to respond and sent photos while we were away, and our pup was very happy when we picked him up. We will be returning customers for sure!”

“Ksenia is my preferred dogsitter for the last two years since I got my rescue poodle. He's shy, and needs some extra love - and since he's been with Ksenia a few times (with one stay being as long as 3 weeks!), he's really come out of his shell. Every time he comes back from Ksenia's, GouGou comes back happier and more relaxed. Great sitter!”

“Debbi and family were amazing! Trooper was well cared for, entertained, exercised, and for the most part…welcomed into their family. It is always hard to leave Trooper for a few days, but I knew he was having a good time while we were away.”

“Crystal is a rockstar dog sitter! She made us feel at ease during our entire trip. Not to mention, the dogs love her and can’t wait to stay with her again. I’m starting to think they like her more than us, haha!”

“Tim was an amazing sitter for our dog Zoey. He communicated clearly, convenient location, sent daily pictures and message updates and was a perfect fit for our family. Thank you Tim!”

“Shon and his family were great! This was our first experience using Rover and leaving Wrigley with people we don’t know. They were great at communicating and sending us update photos/video of Wrigley enjoying his stay. Would definitely recommend Shon and his family!”

“Our new favorite Home away from Home! Xi and her gorgeous golden Dun were great company for my active boxer while I took a weekend away. Chi takes amazing pictures and gives lots of fun updates. I was very grateful to know my puppy was in great hands and we can’t wait to go back!”

“We couldn't be more delighted with the exceptional care provided by Nikki and her family for our beloved pet, Yoda. From the moment we met Nikki during the initial meet and greet, it was evident that she truly cares about the well-being of each pet under her care. Her attention to detail was immaculate, as she took the time to inquire extensively about Yoda's routines and preferences, requested a timetable that Yoda follows in his daily life, ensuring that his stay would be as comfortable and seamless as possible. We were thoroughly impressed by Nikki's professionalism, and we wholeheartedly recommend her dog boarding services to anyone seeking a loving and attentive environment for their furry family members. Thank you so much, Nikki and family!.”

“Steve is a sweet guy that I can tell really loves animals. He got a little mixed up coordinating details between Teddy and the other dogs he was watching (pick up time, etc.), but that was easy to look past seeing how great he is/ was with Teddy. Would definitely trust Steve to watch Teddy again.”

“Lena took great care of my dog. She walked him, let him sleep with her and updated how he was doing with pictures and videos every day. This allowed us to enjoy our vacation without worrying about him.”

“Chris is an excellent host & a great guy. Just by talking to him, you'll come to learn the kind of observation he makes about dogs & level of care he provides. He shared good feedback about our dog and gave me a couple of tips/ideas through our conversations and I intend to make those happen. He also sent photos every day with small and funny messages to go with; which made the kids happy while our family was away on a trip. If you're reading these reviews and considering Chris, we highly recommend him! Thanks, Chris for taking care of Rubble!”

“Theresa was wonderful for our first Rover experience! We felt completely at ease leaving our pup with her over the weekend. She sent us pictures and updates the whole time, which was great! We are definitely hoping our dog can stay with Theresa again in the future!”

“Thank you for taking such great care of Duke while we were on vacation. Thanks for the regular updates and sharing all the details of his stay. He came home his happy self! We look forward to having him stay with you again sometime.”

Stephanie is terrific with Zorro and I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again. She is detail-oriented and asks questions, which I appreciate. I received updates and photos while I was away and I didn’t have any concerns that Zorro was receiving anything but the best care. Stephanie has a nice deck outside the kitchen and Zorro was able to walk back and forth between the inside and outside spaces, depending on her mood. While there’s no accessible yard, the deck and the frequent walks Stephanie took with Zorro worked just fine. I highly recommend Stephanie and her family.

My dog Sauce had such a wonderful stay at Xiaotong’s home. Sauce was so welcomed by the entire family, and made great buddies with their dog Luna. Great communications too and we received many many fun videos and photos. The owner also left me a sweet letter that summarized Sauce’s stay. Highly recommended!

Xiaomeng was absolutely wonderful! She took care of Cookie for 2.5 weeks, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and caring, and it was obvious that Cookie felt comfortable and happy with her. Xiaomeng kept us updated with photos and videos throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Leaving your dog for that long can be stressful, but knowing Cookie was in such good hands made it so much easier. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for dog who clearly had a great time. 🥰 We’re very grateful to Xiaomeng and would absolutely trust her with Cookie again. Highly recommend! ❤️🐶

We had such a great experience with Parnika! This was the first time we used Rover for our wedding day. She kept us updated throughout the day and sent us so many pictures, which gave us peace of mind knowing our pup was happy and well cared for. We truly appreciated how attentive and communicative she was. Highly recommend! 🐾🤍

Sarah and Lamin did a great job taking care of our sweet senior dog. Ponyo has a few health concerns and they were so good about making sure she got her medications and special foods. It was such a relief to get regular updates on her care. We were so grateful to find such a good sitter we could trust while we were away.
We had such a great experience with Lisa! This was our first time boarding Nelson and we were nervous going in, but within a few hours we could tell he was in the best hands. We couldn’t believe she got our usually pretty mellow dog out hiking and to farmers markets — stuff we never expected him to do! It was so clear he trusted her and had a blast, and he came home with the biggest smile. She kept us updated the whole time and communicated so well before and during the visit. We’ll 100% be booking with her again!

Another fantastic boarding experience with Jenny! She consistently kept us updated with adorable photos and messages throughout Mello’s stay, which gave us great peace of mind. It was so rewarding to see Mello become more comfortable and interactive each day. We’re incredibly grateful for the wonderful care Jenny provides and will definitely continue booking with her!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
