While discussing this at drop off, I discovered that Liz is also a trainer with extensive experience working with special needs. This was immediately apparent in the her interactions with Bexo, as she made sure Bexo was conformable with her before I left. She really seem to "hear" him, and I've never seen him take to a stranger so fast. Thanks again Liz! Bexo can't wait until next time.”

“Highly recommended! We reached out to Yihua to see if she could take care of Hacker, while we were away on a business trip. She responded promptly and arranged a meet-and-greet ahead of time to meet us and Hacker, which immediately gave us confidence. During the visit, she carefully asked about Hacker’s daily routines, feeding preferences, and any additional tasks needed for each visit. We told her that besides changing the water and refilling dry cat food, it would be great if she could also give him a lick-able cat treat and 10–12 pieces of cat's multivitamin each time. She took detailed notes and made sure everything was clear. Throughout the week we were away, Yihua did an outstanding job. She not only took wonderful care of Hacker and spent time playing with him, but also sent us plenty of photos and short videos, which really reassured us while we were out. When we returned home, Hacker was in great condition. It was obvious he had been very well cared for. We will definitely be reaching out to Yihua again for pet sitting in the future!”

I was impressed with how experienced and thoughtful Bella was (and is), and had no reservations about leaving Maggie in her care. When I picked up Maggie it was obvious that she enjoyed spending time with Bella and her family, which included a couple of walks and playing with her daughters. I could see that Bella bonded with Maggie and that she intuitively provided Maggie with the perfect mix of exercise, stimulation, rest and affection that Maggie needed as a 10-year old “senior” dog. About: My entire life I have been raised alongside animals of all kinds, so I have a genuine passion for their care. It was always a responsibility of mine to help take care of our own at home pets as a kid, but eventually I moved up to helping out other family members, friends of family, neighbors, friends of friends, etc. with their pets while they were out working, on vacation, or just out on the town for the night. This included making sure pet was safe, happy, fed, relieved of any potty breaks, had constant access to water, and was enriched with plenty of play time and some treats! I'm currently available Sun-Mon, 9a-3p. I can make some exceptions here and there for different times during those days, just need more information of time and reason. There is a perfectly quiet and spacious dog park right here in my neighborhood. I do have a Dachshund and cat at home. Kitty is very friendly and playful with dogs XS-L, the menace of the house is the Dachshund. He is very temperamental with other dogs, but has never been aggressive.

Currently, I have a miniature Australian shepherd that I raised and trained from a puppy. About: I've loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with cats and I got and trained my dog when I was 11. I tried to train my cats too but that didn't go quite so well. In middle school through college, I started pet sitting around the neighborhood and for family friends. My own dogs were medium sized, but I do have experience taking care of larger dogs. I also have experience with kittens, old cats and dogs, and other animals from rats to horses! I'll always carry clean-up bags and dispose of waste responsibly, leaving your home spotless. Constant Communication: Throughout the visit, I'll keep you updated with pictures and texts, giving you peace of mind and letting you see your pup having a blast. Walks in the Park: Safe Routes & Park Etiquette: I'll choose dog-friendly parks and routes that are well-maintained and appropriate for your dog's activity level. I'm also familiar with park rules and etiquette, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable outing. Hydration & Rest: I'll always carry fresh water and a bowl for your dog to stay hydrated during walks. We'll also take breaks as needed, allowing your pup to rest and explore at their own pace. Socialization (Optional): If you'd like, I can introduce your dog to other friendly pups during walks, promoting positive social interactions. Overall Trust & Comfort: Pet CPR & First Aid Certified: I'm certified in Pet CPR and First Aid, providing an extra layer of security and ensuring I can handle unexpected situations calmly. About: I have been taking care of dogs since my early childhood years and have found it to have provided some of the most worthwhile experiences I've had in my life. I've owned 3 dogs: a pitbull, rottweiler, and even a maltese. This is why taking care of any dog, large or small, is no problem for me. Living in San Diego for school has unfortunately separated me from the dogs that have become a big part of my life. I am able to provide attentive care for any dog in my responsibility and can pick up on the nuances that each dog enjoys. I joined Rover because I wanted to be able to spread the same care that I treated my own dogs with and to revel in the therapeutics benefits of bonding with dogs.

Bexo can take a while to warm up to new people, and doesn't do well with other dogs. While discussing this at drop off, I discovered that Liz is also a trainer with extensive experience working with special needs. This was immediately apparent in the her interactions with Bexo, as she made sure Bexo was conformable with her before I left. She really seem to "hear" him, and I've never seen him take to a stranger so fast. Thanks again Liz! Bexo can't wait until next time.”
