Hi, I’m Jasmin and I treat every pet as if they’re my own. I have over 7 years of experience in the animal care industry and have worked with dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and personalities - including high-energy, anxious, senior, and special needs pets. I make sure to take the time to understand your pet’s routine and comfort level so I can ensure they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away. In addition to dogs and cats, I also have experience caring for small animals and some exotics including rabbits, rodents, reptiles, and birds and I’m happy to follow detailed care instructions to meet their specific needs. I am a certified Veterinary Assistant (AVMA) and previously gained hands-on experience working in a veterinary hospital setting during my internship, where I assisted alongside veterinarians with animal handling, basic medical care, and monitoring health. While I’m not currently working in a clinic, I now provide pet care full-time through Rover and continue to apply what I learned when it comes to administering medications, recognizing potential health concerns, and providing safe, attentive care. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science to continue building my knowledge and skills in the field. I specialize in walks and drop-in visits, and I’m also available for short-term house sitting. I can help with things like: - Oral, aural, topical, and injectable medications - Senior and special needs care - Light grooming (bathing, brushing, nail trims) - Exercise, playtime, and enrichment You can expect to receive regular updates, photos, and clear communication so you always know how the stays are going! Pets are important members of the family and should be treated as such. I know every animal has their own quirks and personalities, so I always do my best to adjust my approach to better accommodate and communicate with your pet.
