About: I grew up around cats, dogs and hamsters. We have had 2 boxers previously, one of which I have cared for through his late senior years, so I know what extra special care senior animals may need. I am comfortable diaper-changing, walking a their pace and administering medications. I have experience house-sitting and pet-sitting for various pets throughout my life — mostly cats and dogs. My son currently has a Leopard Gecko, so I have some insight into caged reptiles too, but am willing to learn more and care for them too, if needed. I am a Stay-at-Home-Mom with an open schedule. I can easily fit in dog walks, or house-visits to care for a pet. (I have an 1.5 year old daughter who will mostly like need to come with me on these visits.) You can trust me to walk your pet or come pop-in for a visit to feed and care for them. I love all animals and am happy to help them feel loved and less alone while you're gone.
“I highly recommend Benjamin! He was great. Always showed up when he said he would, kept my cat happy! He was also very accommodating with adding on an extra day last second when my travel back home hit a bump. Thanks Benjamin!”

About: As a trusted and dedicated pet sitter, I provide loving and reliable care for any fur baby while their families are away. I have experience administering medications and injections when needed, ensuring pets stay healthy and comfortable, whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I genuinely love spending time with animals and take pride in making them feel safe, happy, and loved. I am only available for housesitting because my little dog does not get along with any other dogs and my roommate would take care of her while I am away. This includes feeding, administering medications, walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles and affection. I also keep the home tidy, including cleaning up after pets and making sure trash and recycling are taken out as needed.
“Andrew took great care of Shadow while we were out of town. He sent updates and pictures which gave us peace of mind. He even braved the April snow storm to make sure Shadow was taken care of. Our pup was happy and healthy when we got home.”

About: Hey there! My name is Matt and I am 32 years old. I have graduated from Washington State University where I received my Bachelor's of Science in Psychology. While in college, I loved volunteering at the nearby Humane Society and spending time with the dogs as I missed mine back home very much. I am familiar with a variety of dog breeds, as they have been a part of my life since I was a kid. As far as my interests and hobbies, I love to stay active by participating in sports, yoga, running, hiking, anything that gets me moving. I thoroughly enjoy dog walking and/or taking them on a run depending on what your dog prefers. My schedule is very flexible. Please let me know if you have any questions! I look forward to meeting you and your pet 🙂 My schedule remains flexible, I usually walk anytime after 10am. If you need in home services or house/dog sitting, I can provide that as well. The only service I can't provide is overnights at my own residence, other than that I'm open to pretty much any opportunities 👍 Typically I won't house pets at my residence, I could provide this service for short periods of time and no overnights. However, I do have a small yard that is fenced in.
About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life, and caring for pets has always been a passion of mine. I have a 4-year-old Border Collie who means the world to me, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. I spent over a year working at a doggy daycare, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. My responsibilities included supervising playgroups, feeding meals, administering medications, cleaning kennels, and making sure every dog was safe, comfortable, and happy throughout the day - and overnight if boarding. I now work at a small local pet store, where I’ve continued expanding my knowledge of pet care, nutrition, and enrichment. I love using my experience to provide attentive, compassionate care that’s tailored to each pet’s individual needs. I currently work part-time which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to offer drop-in visits and walks throughout the week depending on your pets schedule. Every pet is unique, so I do my best to keep them comfortable by following their normal routines as closely as possible. Whether that means walks, playtime, feeding, medications, or simply getting loved on and spoiled, I’ll provide attentive, compassionate care tailored to your pet’s needs. I also understand how important peace of mind is, so I am more than happy to send photo updates and messages during each visit!
About: Providing regular pupdates while your away seems to really bring my clients peace of mind. My experience and expertise speak for themself, and I assure you that i know how to put a dog at ease and the training in canine language and behavior and my ability to communicate is what builds a trust and bond that my clients rave about. My abilities have helped a lot of traumatized pups find happiness from my one of a kind technique that I have carefully mastered from my time of over a decade in the canine grooming, pet behavior modification training and time working in the pet care industry. I use holistic approaches to build a trust with your animal and in turn their willingness to please is almost instant once that bond is formed. I am a pet groomer by day and also provide pet care services such as pet training, pet socializing, pet solo or group walks, boarding, and I also have the training and experience to help modify anxious or poor behavior traits through many different techniques and utilizing positive rewards to help modify the behavior we are wishing to possibly change. I love all animals and believe all animals deserve their boundaries respected but also building trust to allow the pet to put their faith in what I'm teaching them. I ensure they have private feeding and sleeping areas. Have a huge area for the dogs to play and run and get the exercise out that tends to get pent up and also have a groom room for dog haircuts, nail trims, anal gland expressions and your basic bath and blow outs.

Silvana took care of our cat and 2 birds while we were out of town for the weekend. She did a wonderful job and we couldn't have been happier with the attentive care she provided. She clearly followed my instructions, sent detailed updates on how they were doing, and sent some great photos! Thank you Silvana! We would love to hire you again!

This was our third time hiring Silvana to pet sit for us over the weekend. We couldn’t be happier with the way she takes care of our cat and pet ducks. She clearly follows all care directions, is very gentle and kind to our pets, and is dependable with great communication. Silvana consistently goes above and beyond. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
