“Our dog Lucky has had such a great time with Lisa. He boarded with her for a long weekend and we received frequent fun updates and photos of their adventures, hikes and relaxation at home. Knowing he was in such good hands allowed us to really enjoy our time with family. We would recommend her to anyone who needs professional, kind care and excellent communication with a pet sitter! Thank you, Lisa!”

“Hyeyoung and her family took great care of George! She sent great updates each day about George. Her photos are amazing! She made George look like a vogue doggy. I will 100% be rebooking with her!”

“Riitta is the best! She has a wonderful setup at her house. She took great care of Tucker and sent lots of updates during his first stay with her. Will definitely be booking again ☺️”

“We had a wonderful experience with Romy! She took excellent care of Uni and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We received regular updates, photos, and could tell our dog was happy, comfortable, and well loved. Romy was reliable, communicative, flexible and treated our dog like her own. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring sitter.”

“Thank you, John for a wonderful overnight with Rigby! John has the perfect set up with a lovely, fully fenced natural wooded area where dogs can roam and enjoy being outside safely. John is very sensitive to a dog's needs and figured out easily that Rigby needed more space to feel comfortable. John was able to handle Rigby's odd behaviors and recognized much of it is likely due to anxiety. Rigby is a rescue who we've had since October so we are still figuring him out; he's almost 12 so we are the ones likely going to be making the adjustments versus him. Thanks to John's relaxed nature, we felt comfortable entrusting Rigby with him for overnight care. John provides quick responses and thoroughly takes notes to be prepared for his sessions with his dog guests. We will be returning for more visits in the future! Thank you, John!”

“Jessica was fantastic! She has a lovely house with her husband, and they treated Cali like one of their own. She frequently sent updates, photos, and videos. Cali got on really well with their dog and cats, and looks like she had a wonderful time. Thank you for everything!”

“Kim hosted a great stay for our 14 lb dog for an extended weekend! Her communication and response time is exceptional, she keeps a very clean and organized home, and sends lots of pictures. She also has a fenced in yard with chicken wire along the bottom to prevent escapees. Heads up that she may use doggie diapers at the beginning, until your dog learns the routine and understands where to go to ask to go out, JIC your dog has an aversion to clothes. Grateful to have her nearby!”

“Janin is fantastic! Our dog, Grazer, always seems to have an amazing time when he’s with her, and he consistently comes home happy, relaxed, and completely tuckered out from all the fun and attention. Janin is incredibly flexible, communicative, and clearly cares about Grazer and his wellbeing. We always feel confident leaving him in her care because we know he’ll be treated like family. It’s great to have someone we trust who genuinely enjoys spending time with him. We highly recommend Janin to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional sitter!”

“Fiona and family took excellent care of our senior pup and we're very grateful that care instructions were followed meticulously and that Tibby was well taken care of. Thank you Fiona!”

“Heather was great! She made sure maple was fed and happy. She sent lots of pictures to keep updated which I loved! She was very quick to respond and very friendly! Would definitely book again!”

“Joy has had several short day care visits/ long stays with Ketaki so far and it was truly the best decision we made! She sent detailed daily updates about Joy’s activities and condition, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear she cared for Joy as if she were her own, and that really meant a lot to us. Joy looked so happy and comfortable the entire time. We would absolutely trust Ketaki again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring sitter in the area.”

“Cynthia and her husband are amazing! Very informative and caring, especially for our 12 year old Havanese. We are so excited to have found a regular sitter in the area! Our pups had a great time!”
“I would recommend Xin to my family and friends. She kept me informed today 1, I was happy with the pictures and videos. I could tell my little Sebastian was enjoying his stay.”

“Xiaomeng was an excellent babysitter for Cosmo! She was friendly, attentive, and ensured he was well cared for throughout his time with her. Cosmo had a great experience playing in her lovely backyard, which provided a safe and enjoyable environment. I appreciate her professionalism and the warm approach she had with him. I would highly recommend Xiaomeng for anyone looking for reliable and caring babysitting services!”

“Sharon was an excellent sitter for my dog Kyoto! She was very friendly and proactive, suggesting a meet and greet the day before to go over all details since I had to leave quickly after drop-off. That extra step made everything smooth and gave me great peace of mind. Throughout the day, communication was easy and consistent—Sharon kept me updated with messages and cute photos of Kyoto enjoying his time. I really appreciated her attentiveness and warm personality. Kyoto looked relaxed and happy when I picked him up, which says it all. I would definitely book with Sharon again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter.”

“Sammy must have had a great time at their place, as he was super tired at the end of the day and slept through whole night without any more play time or treats. Note: Sammy is a high energy dog and doesn’t get tired easily. He does 4-5 mile walks everyday and still needs more play time. Another thing to note about Sammy: he has a tendency to mark at new places. We specifically gave bellybands with him. But somehow they managed to keep him off bellybands and off marking their place. Which is amazing! Sammy will definitely visit them again many times, and I can’t recommend them enough! Thank you Xiaoshan & Xiuli for taking care of Sammy!”

“My girl and I are SO lucky to have Liz! Knowing I can travel and my pup is safe, sound, and having the time of her life while I’m gone (everything from long jaunts on trail to lots of cozy cuddles) — it’s such a relief. Can’t thank Liz enough! ?”

“Dymtro and Katie were absolutely wonderful with Bronny. They followed his food and medication schedule and kept everything organized. Bronny has a detailed routine, and they handled it with care and attention. They sent us photos daily. We’re grateful for them and would absolutely trust them with Bronny again. Highly recommend!”

“My dog was so happy with Ana Clara, with a backyard to play in, comfortable place inside to relax and play. She was looked after very well and Ana Clara was very communicative for everything.”

Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
