About: I’ve grown up with and taken care of dogs since I was very young. Whether it be friends or family, those around me always know that they can trust their pet is in good hands under my care! I just got back from traveling and am looking to fill my time! I have mostly open availability for walks, drop ins, and house sitting. I’ve cared for pets in every setting and can adapt to the needs of your pet and home. I know your home can be a very private space and you can trust that it’ll be treated that way!

“Kramer LOVED Jessica! We are very thankful for how well she treated him with beautiful walks, playing with toys and letting him just follower her around. He really appreciated her letting him sleep with them. We loved the frequent updates with pictures; it really helped us deal with being away from him. We are so glad we found her to watch him when we need to go out of town.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Romy! She took excellent care of Uni and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We received regular updates, photos, and could tell our dog was happy, comfortable, and well loved. Romy was reliable, communicative, flexible and treated our dog like her own. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring sitter.”

“Thanks for taking care of Oliver like he is your own dog. We did not feel missing him with your updates regarding his meals and pictures. He really seemed like enjoyed all the walks.”

“Janessa and family took such great care of my dog for a month. My dog had such a great time playing with Janessa’s dogs in their spacious yard and her family gave her lots of love during the holidays. Communication was perfect—plenty of photos, videos and updates. We will definitely book again!”

“Our dogs love Debbi and her family. They get so excited every time we pull up to her house! I begin to think they like to stay there rather than being home! Hahahaha!”

“Deepika and her family are absolutely incredible! This was our first time using her, and we would rebook again anytime without hesitation. She truly loves dogs, and it shows in the exceptional care she provides. Her house and yard are so spacious, giving the dogs plenty of room to run and play safely. I received frequent updates with tons of photos and videos, which gave me complete peace of mind. She is incredibly patient, kind, and showered my dog with so much love. I cannot recommend this lovely sitter enough!”

“We continue to think that Crystal and her family are the best dog sitters ever! Their love for their doggy guests is obvious and my puppy has such an amazing time at their home. Thank you, Crystal!”

“Xi is a dream! I am so comforted when my pup is in her care. Her golden boy is a wonderful companion and the whole family is kind and happy to have a new dog in their home. I love that Xi takes the time to get to know my dogs behavior and schedule. The communication is top notch. Top that off with Xi's amazing photo and video updates! Always a great experience!”

“First time using Elan M./Rover service and we would highly recommend Elan M. to look after our dog next time we are in need of a sitter. Elan's daily photo updates kept us informed and relieved us of his security and care. Thank you Elan for looking after our loved one so well. Appreciate it!”

“Always an amazing experience with Joann and her pups! Our pup doesn’t even look back when we drop him off 🤣 he loves stays with Joann and her family! They are kind, responsive, and provide excellent care that gives us ease of mind while traveling.”

“Xiaomeng was fantastic in taking care of my old girl. I love the pictures and videos she would send to keep me updated. My dog got sick while Xiaomeng was watching her and she was kind in keeping me informed and taking care of her. I felt so bad she had to deal with that but Xiaomeng reassured me she was okay and we talked about the best course of action to help my dogs stomach issue. I really appreciate her attentiveness and communication.”

“Donnell and Ryan gave us just enough updates and photos to know that Buddy was adjusting fine. The boarding was 6 days and their home and fenced yard was ideal for our dog. Donnell and Ryan are experienced with dog behaviors and how to help a dog relax and feel safe with them. This was our first boarding through Rover and we were very happy with how it worked out.”

“Lisa was a fantastic Rover host for our two dogs. She communicated frequently with us, was proactive in asking clarifying questions about our instructions, and clearly loves dogs. We could tell that our dogs had a great time as well! This was our first time using Rover and Lisa made everything so easy! We will book with her again!”

“Sammy loves going to Xiaoshan and Xiuli’s place. He loves many walks and playing with toys. Despite being high energy, he always comes back tired and happy.”

“Lena was fantastic! She took wonderful care of my curious little beagle, who’s always following her nose and obsessed with food. Throughout the stay, Lena kept me updated with multiple photos and videos each day, which really put my mind at ease. It was clear my best friend was in great hands—playing happily with other dogs, enjoying time with her children, and going on plenty of walks. I truly appreciated the love and attention she gave her. I’ll definitely be a returning customer!”

About: I have over 12 years of hands-on pet care experience and a lifelong love for animals. One of my most meaningful experiences was caring for my own rescue dog, whom I found in a hiking area at just 10 days old. I nurtured him through every stage of life from bottle feeding as a tiny puppy to supporting him in his senior years. This journey taught me patience, gentle handling, and how to adapt care for each stage of a dog’s life. I’m experienced with puppies, senior pets, and rescue animals who may need extra understanding and reassurance. Every pet in my care is treated like family, with safety, comfort, and love at the heart of everything I do. Pet care has always been a part of my daily life. After many years caring for my own beloved dog, I now look forward to sharing that same love and attention with the pets I care for. Whether it’s morning walks, playtime, or evening snuggles, I make sure each pet feels safe, happy, and loved. Whether caring for pets in my home or my client’s home, my priority is making them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I follow their usual routines for feeding, walks, and playtime, and give them plenty of affection and attention. I’m patient with shy or nervous pets, attentive to special needs like medications or senior care, and keep a close eye on their well-being. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident they’re happy and in good hands.
“Ana was able to take in my dog on a short notice and I am very grateful for her care. Ana was highly available in responsive, which I didn't strictly ask for a require but it was a nice reassurance to have. Will gladly use Ana's service in the future!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
