“We had a wonderful experience with Romy! She took excellent care of Uni and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We received regular updates, photos, and could tell our dog was happy, comfortable, and well loved. Romy was reliable, communicative, flexible and treated our dog like her own. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring sitter.”

“Great communication, friendly, flexible, and very clearly loves dogs! I trust Kaylie with my two pups and wouldn’t hesitate to bring them back for other stays. They love the backyard and spending time with the resident dogs there!”

“I'm happy to trust my sweet little Havanese, Uuno, to Riitta's care whenever we are out of town. Riitta gives personalized, professional and loving care. I feel like Riitta's place has become like a home-away-from-home to my dog. Uuno is always happy to go there, which to me is the best proof that he has a genuinely good time at Riitta's care while the rest of the family is on vacation. If I had any doubt on that, it would be difficult for me to fully enjoy traveling. Riitta replies promptly and keeps us updated with beautiful photos and texting. I feel very fortunate to have met Riitta and highly recommend her!”

“Kristen and Loic were great hosts for Lyra. She was showered with attention from the whole family and taken on many adventures throughout the day. Communication was exceptional as we received many updates throughout the day. Lyra came back a happy and tired dog, which is the best kind of dog. Will be using their services again soon!”

“We felt great leaving Cali with Wendy. Wendy was an excellent clear communicator, sent daily updates, and seemed to genuinely care for and enjoy Cali! I could tell Cai absolutely loved hanging out with the other dogs and Wendy’s son. We would absolutely book with Wendy again.”

“Thanks for taking care of Oliver like he is your own dog. We did not feel missing him with your updates regarding his meals and pictures. He really seemed like enjoyed all the walks.”

“AMAZING! Our big, goofy dog was so well loved by Ana Clara for the week we were gone that I am not sure he wanted to come back home. 🙃 After our initial meet and greet, I knew that our dog would be in good hands during our cruise, when I would have very limited cell reception. Ana Clara gave our pup plenty of attention and sent me daily updates and pictures. She let me know that the first night he struggled to settle, but was still eating and drinking. She let me know when he relaxed more and sent me lots of pictures of him playing and being his goofball self, so I know he was happy. Ana Clara understands and clearly loves dogs. If you are looking for a caring, home environment for your dog while you are away, I highly recommend leaving your pup with Ana Clara. 🙂”

“Sammy must have had a great time at their place, as he was super tired at the end of the day and slept through whole night without any more play time or treats. Note: Sammy is a high energy dog and doesn’t get tired easily. He does 4-5 mile walks everyday and still needs more play time. Another thing to note about Sammy: he has a tendency to mark at new places. We specifically gave bellybands with him. But somehow they managed to keep him off bellybands and off marking their place. Which is amazing! Sammy will definitely visit them again many times, and I can’t recommend them enough! Thank you Xiaoshan & Xiuli for taking care of Sammy!”

“Anping has been great, and I’ve used him repeatedly! He’s been super accommodating by keeping our dog separate from other dogs in the house and by understanding schedule changes due to travel delays. He was caring for our dog and let us know of a minor limp she was experiencing form a past injury.”

“Soma took wonderful care of Coco while we were away. She was very attentive and patient, and it was clear Coco was in great hands. Soma also kept us updated during the stay, which gave us great peace of mind. Coco came home happy and well cared for. We really appreciate Soma’s help and would happily book with her again!”

“Danika is a sweet lady that truly cares about the animals in her care. Which is a relief when leaving my baby. He thinks he's supposed to go everywhere with me but loves going to Danika so it eases him as well. Thank you Danika ❤️”

About: I grew up around dogs, as my mother is an AKC handler, so raising puppies and caring for animals has always been a part of my life. I previously worked at a local animal hospital, where I gained hands-on experience and expanded my knowledge in animal care. Dogs have always been my passion, and I bring that experience, patience, and genuine love into every walk and interaction. I work part time so my schedule is flexible. I am available 7 days a week AM or PM! I also know some great spots that are fenced off and are perfect for some outdoor exercise. I’m able to come visit your home and care for your baby, as well as take baby out on an adventure for some exercise. I have a puppy that is very friendly so if your baby wants company they can have play dates!
“We are so relieved and happy we found Theresa and Brad! Their home is exactly what we were looking for when needing a sitter for our dogs. We love that they only take one client at a time, so they can ensure their dogs, and their client's dog(s) get the love and attention they should! Theresa and Brad were very welcoming and had us at ease within minutes of our first meet and greet! When we picked Maggie and Frankie up from their first stay over, you could tell how relaxed and tired they were from all the playtime they had with their dogs, Lucy and Charlie! We have already booked their time for our remaining vacations this year! We couldn't have imagined a more perfect place to leave our precious babies!”

“Fiona is an AMAZING sitter! Our dog Leia loved her and was so excited to board with her, which never usually happens. Leia is normally a cautious, reserved dog who is hard to excite, but the day of her stay, she ran into . She sent tons of photos and kept us up to date the whole stay.”

“Janin was an amazing dog sitter. She took great care of Milo, was super communicative, and sent many photos during his stay. She has a lovely property with a large yard for dogs to run and play. We would love to work with Janin again and highly recommend her!”

“Shon left me no doubt that my little doggie was being well cared for. He sent me lots of pictures of her getting all the love and attention that she craves. Shon and his family made her one of their own for the week we were gone. He even gave her a bath and she came home smelling great! We will definitely hire Shon for our next trip.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - North Bend
This was our first time using a pet sitter, and we could not have been luckier than finding Aletya. From the moment we met her, we could feel how caring and loving her environment was. Her two dogs and ours hit it off immediately, and the level of detail she went into before and during drop‑off was incredible. While we were on our trip, she sent daily updates and photos — which our kids absolutely loved. On top of that, our pup had an incident the day before drop‑off, and Aletya stepped up without hesitation. She handled the medication, kept everything on schedule, and somehow made it fun for our dog every single day. Our furry baby had a wonderful time, and we always felt she was being treated like part of Aletya’s own family. At pick‑up, she even shared helpful recommendations for toys and routines that work well for her dogs — and we’ve already adopted them at home. We 100% recommend Aletya for your pet‑sitting needs. She is simply amazing, and your pet will be in a truly loving, attentive, and caring home.

Thank you Sana and Paul for taking such great care of Ollie while we were away! We loved all the pictures and videos! He clearly had a great time staying with you guys, going on countless walks, splashing in the stream, and playing with Layla! We know looking after a 6 month old puppy can be a lot and we are so grateful! Thank you, thank you!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
