“Dana Marie was fantastic with our kitty. It was his first time away from home and she was so patient and loving with him, drew him out of his shell to relax and play. He had a very comfy, spacious room to himself, tons of toys, a cushy bed and a climbing tree next to a big window with a great view of the neighborhood activities. Dana Marie was very flexible with our drop-off and pick-up time, gave me updates each day and carefully followed all directions for feeding and medications. We couldn't have asked for a better home away from home for our little guy.”

“Pros: Ginny seemed to have a great time, and Yuliia seems to really like dogs and treat them well. She is very responsive to messages which is great. We appreciated her daily photos/videos, and she followed our instructions. She was agreeable to a meet & greet beforehand. Our dog has never been with a cat, so she even had a friend watch her cat during the stay to accommodate our dog, which was very kind. Cons: Communication was tricky as English is not her first language. Communication (possibly cultural differences?) was an issue especially with pickup and dropoff. Yuliia seemed to have an inconsistent work schedule and changed the time for dropoff and pickup at the last minute, which was confusing and stressful. At pickup, she was at work and none of my dog’s items were packed, resulting in us leaving some items by accident and needing to schedule another time just to pick them up. Her teenage son was the one who met us at pickup and her friend during pickup of the items, so she was actually not there at all either time. Our dog did seem happy, so overall the stay went well; I just would hope there is better communication next time.”

About: I'm a born dog person — my family has had dogs since I was 12. In 2021 we welcomed a black Labrador girl, and later her white Labrador puppy (they're my parents' dogs back home). Since moving to the US, I've become the go-to sitter for friends, caring for their dogs while they travel — including a month-plus stay with a Labrador. Besides Labs, I've also looked after Border Collies, Australian Shepherds, and Shih Tzus, so I'm comfortable with everything from high-energy herding breeds to gentle lap dogs. One thing that sets me apart: I'm an avid hiker and love taking dogs on trail adventures (with your permission, of course). You'll get plenty of photo updates, and I keep to your pup's usual routine for feeding, walks, and bedtime. I'm a product designer working from home in Bellevue, so your pup has company all day, every day. A typical day with me: three walks plus one long outdoor play session — and for active dogs, a trail hike if you'd like. I'm available for boarding 7 days a week, and I keep my Rover calendar up to date so you always know when I'm free. Your dog stays in my beautiful condo in Bellevue — I don't currently have pets of my own, so your pup gets 100% of my attention. There's a large off-leash field just a 3-minute walk away, perfect for safe play and exercise. I keep a clean, pet-safe home with secure doors, and I always follow your instructions for feeding, medication, and crate routines. I do a meet-and-greet before the first stay so we can make sure it's a good fit.
