Information Heather G. would like to know about your pet

It’s important to be open about any quirks and habits your pooch displays. This should include how often your dog needs to have potty breaks, if they are startled by loud noises and any allergies. Please don’t omit any behaviors - don’t worry, my dogs all have their own weird ways at times!!

A typical day

We have a large, fenced backyard available, a deck for sunbathing and lots of toys, walks in the morning and evening and always lots of scritches!!

Pet care experience

Hi! My name is Heather and I am a huge dog lover - big dogs, little dogs, your dog(s)! My current family, besides my husband, includes 4 Greyhounds and a Great Pyranees. We love our daily family walks and curling up in the livingroom to all watch a movie or enjoy the occasional cat or dog YouTube video.

Heather came for a “trial run” with our golden. We wanted to make sure she could handle our dog’s strength, especially when spotting a bunny, and we wanted to make sure it was a good fit personality-wise. Our reservations were quickly alleviated. Heather has a very warm and welcoming personality and Josie took to her and her husband right away. We know our girl will be in the best of care while we are away.

Heather was great! She has years of experience dealing with all types of dogs and that was evident when she walked my dog - who has more personality and quirks than you can shake a chuck-it stick at. I knew Heather was the right choice when my dog gave her tail wags and brought her a toy on their first at home visit. Generally he takes a while to warm up to people. Heather is responsive and punctual. I’d definitely hire her again!

As a Rover sitter myself, I have very high expectations for sitters caring for our big pup, Bear. He is older and has some special needs, all things Heather is familiar with. Heather is knowledgeable, caring, and just loves dogs. It’s a relief knowing she’s providing excellent care. Heather is always my number one choice!

I have known Heather for a long time and believe she is one of the most reliable and caring people I have met. She has been an animal lover all her life and will care for anyone's dog as her own.
