“Junbo is kind, reliable, and communicative. She took care of my dog and place for over a week. My 7 year old dog loved her from day 1. Junbo followed the care instructions I left, sent lots of photos, and was generous with her time, the long walks, and day adventures she took my dog on. On the way back, my dog looked happy and healthy, and my place was clean and well taken care of. I’m happy to have found a great sitter. Thank you for your great work, Junbo!”

“Noah was great, he was very patient in getting to know Abby and kept us up to date on the progress. Abby did warm up and they became good buddies. Noah was very low impact, the house was as neat as it was when we left. I would gladly have him come back!”

“Josephine was great with our pups over the weekend, actively communicating during her stay and leaving the house in great condition! Will definitely ask her to watch our two dogs again in the future.”

“Thank you so much for watching Benji! Ming was able to accommodate a last minute request do 2 different requests. I will definitely use Ming again and I highly recommend her.”

“I had a great experience having Tyler watch my big Malinois boy! Her communication was top-notch. Despite one of the buses she needed to get over to my place failing to show up, she still arrived in time for me to head out the door on schedule, due to how early she headed out herself. She gave Ash plenty of things to do and he had a great time. Would happily have her watch him again!”

“Rhiannon took amazing care of my 6 year old border collie and made sure he had lots of exercise. She left my apartment spotless and was super communicative with pictures and videos daily. Highly recommend and will be booking her again soon.”

“Moriah watched my collie mix while I was gone and it was such a pleasure. She did a great job, especially managing my high energy dog and my dog’s medication. I look forward to booking her again next time I need a dog sitter.”

“This is the second time using Uliana and I am very happy to have her watch my pup Ginger again. She loves dogs and cats and I appreciate her philosophy to their care. She stayed with my pup for 5 days and I knew Ginger was in good hands.”

“Jaylin & Isaiah were great from the start. They asked great questions during our meet & greet, and also took amazing care of our two pups. I could tell our pups were sad when we left, but they looked very happy and at ease in the photos updates sent. I would definitely book with them again!”

“Primrose was a wonderful dog sitter. They were very respectful, responsive, and sent great pet updates. I would definitely recommend and plan on booking again.”

About: I have been an animal lover since childhood and truly believe that pets are our 'younger brothers' who deserve nothing but respect and affection. For the past 5 years, I’ve been a dedicated dog owner myself, which taught me the nuances of daily care and intuition. Beyond my personal life, I have 3 years of professional experience as a Rover sitter under a previous account. I don’t just 'watch' dogs; I welcome them into my home as family members, ensuring they feel loved, safe, and respected every second you are away. I work a flexible hybrid schedule, splitting my time between the office and home. My typical workday starts early at 6:00 AM and ends by 2:30 PM, though I often finish a couple of hours earlier. This early schedule is perfect for pet care because it means I am home for the majority of the day. On days I work from home, we are together 24/7. On office days, the pets are only alone for a short period before I return to dedicate my afternoon to them. Our typical walking routine includes: Morning: A refreshing early walk to kickstart the day. Mid-afternoon: A long, high-energy walk right after I finish work. Evening: A medium-length stroll before bedtime to ensure everyone is relaxed and ready for sleep. On weekends, we love to go on adventures! We frequently visit local parks to enjoy the fresh air and give the dogs plenty of space to explore. Your pet will fit right into our active and attentive daily rhythm. Creating a secure and stress-free environment is my top priority. Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m visiting them, I ensure they feel like a true member of the family. A Comfortable Home Environment: Choice of Sleeping: Every guest has a dedicated "safe place" to retreat to, but I believe in total comfort. Pets are more than welcome to snuggle up in bed with me if that’s where they feel most secure and happy! Personal Space: To prevent any stress during mealtimes, each pet has their own designated station for food and fresh water. Play & Mental Stimulation: I dedicate one-on-one time to every pet for interactive play and engagement. We have a huge variety of toys to keep them entertained! Treats & Care: I love spoiling my guests with tasty treats, though I am very strict about checking for allergies or specific dietary instructions from owners first. Safety & Peace of Mind: Because I have a small, cat-friendly dog of my own, my home is already set up to be a pet-safe zone. I am very attentive to body language and ensure that all interactions between animals are supervised and positive. You can expect regular photo updates and messages so you can see exactly how much fun your pet is having!
“Dale was such a great sitter for our little furry friends!! She was very thorough in asking questions about our pets and how to care for them as well as diligent and responsive. Kept us informed the whole time she was caring for our pets and that made us feel very comfortable just knowing they were in good hands. 10/10!!!”

October 2026-September 2027 Seattle area. I already have 2 confirmed housesits and am currently interviewing for more. One of the benefits of the area that I live is that we are surrounded by nature so there are many animals here. Sometimes when I open my front door in the morning there are deer in front of my gate waiting to see what will happen at breakfast time. Travel/Work/experience: 1993-1994 Worked for a historical museum in Ukraine. Was responsible for finding and conducting video interviews with Ukrainian Holocaust survivors. Specifically we were looking for survivors of Einsatzgruppen events. 1994-1995 High school History/English teacher in Bratislava, Slovakia. 1995-1997 Teacher and then manager of a private language school in Moscow, Russia. 1997-1998 Manager of a bar/restaurant, Koh Samet, Thailand. I ran a beachfront bar with 15 bungalows and a small restaurant. Was responsible for all operations, payroll, staffing etc. 50-100 customers daily. 1998-1999 History/English instructor for City University of Seattle. 1999-2002 Worked as a deckhand in Alaska on Salmon and Crab boats. Yes, exactly as in the Deadliest Catch but 7 years before the show started. Was on my boat each year for between 8-10 months. 2002-present. Owner of a private Language School. I have slowly grown my school into one of the largest language schools in Slovakia. I currently have a staff of over 50 teachers teaching English, German, French, Russian, Spanish, Italian as well as Slovak for the many foreign managers living and working in multinational companies. My school cooperates with most of the large multinational companies in the area. I also cooperate quite closely with the local and state police departments as well as the mayor and city council all of whom are my students. While I will be house-sitting for you I will be managing my private Language School online. I will always have time to take care of the homes that I sit for as well as the pets regular routine. I always try my best to maintain the same pet schedule. 1st of all I LOVE ANIMALS! Our home in Slovakia is located up on the hill in the woods overlooking the lake. We have a large orchard and our nearest neighbor is about 300 m from us. We currently have 7 cats in various phases of either living, hanging out, or adding us to their busy social/feeding routine. During the Summer I take care of 2 friends' homes so I take care of their dogs, cats, fish, and even a very old turtle. as well. I travel to the U.S. regularly to visit friends/family each and this website is a perfect fit for my lifestyle as I manage my school remotely. To be quite honest, for all of the travelling I have done over the past 30 years, I have not travelled nor experienced the U.S. much which is another reason I have joined this website. I thought it would be a great way to see the U.S. as well as spend time with lots of great pets! I could take you anywhere you wanted on the Budapest metro blindfolded but have never been to Washington D.C. for example. Please feel free to contact me so we can speak in person about your pets, home and your requirements.

Justelle is magic with cats. She coaxed our extremely shy cat out of hiding so she could give him his inhaler. I wasn’t even sure it would be possible for a cat sitter to get that done with him! She’s a an animal lover and we love having her take care of our babies.

🐾Liane was a PERFECT house sitter for our four pets🐾 We could tell from the way she followed our instructions on our pet’s routines, to being able to give pet medicine, to taking care of our elderly dog, keeping the house clean, and sending us cute updated photos. Could not recommend her more highly; book her now—you don’t need to look any further🐾

Dana was the perfect person to watch my Maltipoo. I appreciate Dana's excellent communication in preparation for watching my dog for the first time, and she made me feel confident that my dog was in good hands. Dana is kind and thoughtful, and Elle took to her right away. I will definitely ask for Dana the next time I'm in town. 😊

I will make this review very plain and simple. Ra is the BEST dog walker/house sitter I have ever used on Rover!! She went above and beyond my expectations which are very high when it comes to taking care of Howie while I am traveling. She was very caring and conscientious of Howie's needs. Howie is a friendly, high energy labradoodle that needs 2 walks per day. She is also an excellent pet photographer and took some amazing sunset pictures of Howie. She introduced Howie to a new playmate Sadie and brought her over to play with Howie in the backyard. Howie is a very picky eater and she suggested a new food topper for his meals which he loved! I would highly recommend Ra for any pet care needs!!

Angie took great care of my french bulldog puppy Remy! My flight home also was unexpectedly canceled at the last second, and she graciously extended her care—super flexible, so grateful. We’ll definitely contact Angie again the next time we need a dog sitter!

Deanna took excellent live-in care of our Dog and Cat for 5 nights. She was communicative, flexible, responsive and left the house cleaner than when we left! It was a relief knowing the animals were in good hands and we will happily rebook in the future. Thanks, DeAnna!

Truly the gold standard of pet sitters! My dog is absolutely obsessed with her and clearly looks forward to their quality snuggle time. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely passionate about their work; she consistently goes above and beyond to ensure my pup is happy and settled. As an added bonus, I always return to a house that is sparkling clean and perfectly tidy. I cannot recommend her highly enough for her professionalism and heart.
