Our kitten was fed, entertained, and seemed happy when we returned from our trip. Yan cleaned up the bathroom and house when they left, which we appreciated. There were several things moved around in the house (e.g., the drain stopper in the sink was taken apart and left on the bathroom counter), but nothing that was a big problem. Unfortunately, it seems like some of the instructions we left weren't followed, and all the training we did to keep the cat off the kitchen counters was undone. We also had an office door closed with instructions to keep the cat out, and that was open when we came back. We didn't receive much communication while gone, and we had to reach out several times to make sure everything was okay. We have a kitten so understand that she's not super well trained yet and can be quite chaotic, but we were a bit frustrated feeling like we lost progress while gone only two days. While we appreciated the attention Yan paid to the cat, we wished for more attention to detail.

I could tell the cats were happy after our return from a week's trip with Uliana house sitting our old home. Usually one of them walks around meowing all night, to let us know of her disproval. Uliana has a way to connect with cats, even our shy one. Our plants were happy that she watered the garden after a record hot day. I would prefer she ask before doing her laundry here, the dryer lint screen was full of lint and paper, which could have started a fire. The litter box was clean, it needed a litter refill after a week of use. The garbage container's lid was in the front garden, I am not sure how she could have missed it as it was right by the front gate. We have rats, mice, racoons and crows in the neighborhood, we prefer not to attract them. Better communication would have helped.
