Hi! I’m Shay, a lifelong dog lover and experienced pet caregiver. My son is 9 years old and has grown up around animals, so our home is full of love, patience, and plenty of dog cuddles. I own a condo with a patio that many dogs enjoy for sunbathing, relaxing, or quick potty breaks. We also go on daily walks and are within walking distance of the waterfront, parks, and trails, giving dogs plenty of opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and fresh air. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities—from energetic puppies to senior dogs needing extra support. I have experience caring for blind dogs, dogs who wear diapers, and dogs who need assistance navigating stairs or managing mobility challenges. I’m happy to accommodate special needs and provide the extra patience and attention they deserve. I work part-time within walking distance of my home, which allows me to provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I’ve even cared for one client’s dog for over three years and regularly take him swimming because it’s one of his favorite activities! I understand that every dog is unique, which is why I love doing meet-and-greets before a stay. It gives us a chance to make sure your pup feels comfortable and allows you to see how they respond to our home and energy. I also offer house sitting for dogs who may be more comfortable staying in their own environment, especially senior, anxious, or routine-oriented pups. I have several local clients who trust me with their homes and pets and would be happy to provide references. I also have an 11-year-old doodle who is gentle and dog-friendly. Depending on the needs of your dog, he may stay with his dad during visits so I can provide focused, individualized care. My goal is simple: to make your dog feel safe, loved, and cared for as if they were my own.
