Hi! I’m Shay, a lifelong dog lover and experienced pet caregiver. My son is 9 years old and has grown up around animals, so our home is full of love, patience, and plenty of dog cuddles. I own a condo with a patio that many dogs enjoy for sunbathing, relaxing, or quick potty breaks. We also go on daily walks and are within walking distance of the waterfront, parks, and trails, giving dogs plenty of opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and fresh air. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities—from energetic puppies to senior dogs needing extra support. I have experience caring for blind dogs, dogs who wear diapers, and dogs who need assistance navigating stairs or managing mobility challenges. I’m happy to accommodate special needs and provide the extra patience and attention they deserve. I work part-time within walking distance of my home, which allows me to provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I’ve even cared for one client’s dog for over three years and regularly take him swimming because it’s one of his favorite activities! I understand that every dog is unique, which is why I love doing meet-and-greets before a stay. It gives us a chance to make sure your pup feels comfortable and allows you to see how they respond to our home and energy. I also offer house sitting for dogs who may be more comfortable staying in their own environment, especially senior, anxious, or routine-oriented pups. I have several local clients who trust me with their homes and pets and would be happy to provide references. I also have an 11-year-old doodle who is gentle and dog-friendly. Depending on the needs of your dog, he may stay with his dad during visits so I can provide focused, individualized care. My goal is simple: to make your dog feel safe, loved, and cared for as if they were my own.

I treat every dog like they’re my own, making sure they feel loved, secure, and right at home while you’re away. Whether your pup loves adventures, relaxing in the sun, or curling up for a nap, I’ll tailor their care to their personality and routine. My goal is for both you and your dog to feel completely at ease, knowing they’re in a safe, loving home away from home.

My home is secure, with a fully enclosed patio surrounded by a fence and retaining wall, so your pup can safely enjoy fresh air and sunshine. I also know how important peace of mind is while you’re away. I provide regular photo and video updates, along with details about walks, meals, playtime, and how your dog is doing throughout their stay. I’m happy to accommodate special routines or requests to help both you and your pet feel completely comfortable and at ease. My goal is for you to relax knowing your furry family member is safe, loved, and being cared for like one of my own.

Some of my favorite doggy day activities include fetch, neighborhood walks, trips to the dog park (with your approval), and the occasional Pup Cup! After a fun day of adventures, there’s nothing better than winding down with plenty of cuddles and relaxation. I also have an 11-year-old, 25-pound Labradoodle who is incredibly gentle and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He loves walks, sunbathing on the patio, naps, and cuddling, and he’s a calm, friendly companion for visiting pups. Whether your dog is playful or prefers a slower pace, I’ll make sure they feel happy, safe, loved, and right at home.
