In 2024 I had to say goodbye to my dog of 14 years and really miss having a dog in my life and on my daily walks. I would love to bring your dog with me! For pet sitting your dog will be lovingly treated like a member of our family and included in our outings when it makes sense.

Schedule
I work from home so am able to get away during the day for a walk and love an evening walk as well. We live near a great little dog park, so we'll go there if your dog enjoys being social with other dogs. I'll integrate your dog into our daily life and they will be included in our activities.

I have lots of experience from being a previous dog owner-from puppy to senior care. I will care for your dog in our home and treat them like a member of our family. I want to make sure your dog will be a good fit for our household so I’ve added some details here for you to consider when contacting me. We don’t typically allow pets on our furniture. Is this something that your dog would be expecting? Are they crate trained for when you need to leave them home alone? Or are they fine alone? Are they an escape artist? We have some missing boards in our fence and a 12 yearold that isn’t great about checking before opening doors so I like to check if your dog is a runner or likes to escape easily. Are they a jumper? Our son is terrified of dogs that jump up on people so that won't be a good fit if your dog does that. We have a small pond in our backyard, so if this could be a problem with you dog our yard may not be a good fit. Lastly, how are they on a leash? I have a bad back and can't really walk a dog that does extreme pulling on a walk. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I want to make sure a dog will be a good fit in our household.
A typical day
I love long walks and going to the dog park near my house. There are great trails in Lynndale Park. We can also play fetch in our backyard
