I have lots of experience from being a previous dog owner-from puppy to senior care. I will care for your dog in our home and treat them like a member of our family. I want to make sure your dog will be a good fit for our household so I’ve added some details here for you to consider when contacting me. We don’t typically allow pets on our furniture. Is this something that your dog would be expecting? Are they crate trained for when you need to leave them home alone? Or are they fine alone? We have neighbors with 2 small dogs that bark a lot through the fence. If your dog would be reactive to this then our yard may night be suited for them. Are they an escape artist? We have some missing boards in our fence and a 12 year old that isn’t great about checking before opening doors so I like to check if your dog is a runner or likes to escape easily. Are they a jumper? Our son is terrified of dogs that jump up on people so that won't be a good fit if your dog does that. We have a small pond in our backyard, so if this could be a problem with you dog our yard may not be a good fit. Lastly, how are they on a leash? We love to play fetch in our backyard and there are lots of great trails in the nearby Lynndale Park to explore. I love walks (currently limited to shorter distances because of a foot injury) and going to the dog park near my house (if your dog likes to be social).
