About: I have over 20 years of experience as a dog owner of all ages and sizes. We love dogs and your dog will receive lots of care & attention from us. Currently, my schedule is very flexible to attend to your dog’s needs. Your dog will receive lots of exercise, attention and snuggles from our entire family. We have a large fenced yard and one golden retriever who will also keep your dog company. Usually at least one person is always home so your dog will rarely be left alone. We have lots of extra dog supplies so the only thing you really need to bring is food and their treats. Optional things to pack are any other essentials or other items to help them feel more comfortable. Please let me know if you have any questions! I’m very responsive to messages and I’m also happy to chat via phone or during meet and greets.

About: I’ve had the privilege of raising and loving dogs since childhood. Most recently, I shared nearly two decades with my sweet senior pup (yes, all dogs even the senior ones are puppies to me), caring for her from puppyhood all the way to her senior years when she peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge at almost 19. Caring for her unconditionally throughout her life left me with an abundance of love to give, and I want to honor her memory by providing that same dedicated care to your furry family members. Because of my journey with her, I am experienced in both the high-energy demands of raising puppies and the specialized, gentle needs of senior dogs such as administering medication, subcutaneous fluids, and managing mobility limitations and senior comfort. I promise to treat your dog with the same patience and unconditional love I poured into my own for 19 years. Because I am currently taking a short break in my career, I am at home full-time and can dedicate my entire day to your pet's care, routine, and companionship. Your dog will have constant supervision, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of attention. Additionally, my husband works a hybrid schedule and is home half the week, meaning we have built-in backup and double the love for our furry guests. Our flexible schedule allows us to easily accommodate your dog's specific feeding, walking, and medication timelines. I am located in a quiet, peaceful cul-de-sac, and my home is a safe and secure environment designed with dogs in mind. About: I've been a dog handler for about eight years. I started at Meg's Dog House as my first job out of high school and learned everything I know about dogs in my 7 years working there. When Covid hit, Meg and her husband retired and I moved to Seattle where I have spent the last year working as a live in caregiver until recently moving into my own place. I just moved to Arizona after a decade of wanting to make the switch (grew up in Washington and hate the weather) and would love to pick up some side jobs here and there. While Rover cannot be my fulltime job due to the inconsistencies of bookings, I do maintain a main job but I do dedicate most my available free time to the dogs I'm watching when I am off work and schedules would be thoroughly discussed before booking. I have two dogs and two kittens, so I'm used to having animals and catering to them around my schedule. Currently I have open availability but this will change when I get a job so it just depends on my new hours but generally speaking I like a minimum of 3 walks daily, with at least one of them being to an area where they can safely run off leash or on a long line to stretch their legs. However the client prefers. I am adaptable and willing to learn. I have worked with special needs dogs, older dogs, and have a lot of experience with puppies. I am a novice trainer and groomer as well so my whole world is centered around animals!

Alexandra took wonderful care of our 66 lb Lab mix while we were away. She followed all of the care instructions, kept up with his potty break schedule, took him on walks, and made sure he was comfortable and well cared for.
