I’m a kind and gentle animal lover. The Mary Pawpins of dogs & cats and all things furry and loveable! I currently don’t have a dog so please let me borrow yours!! Your pet will be part of our family and given lots of love and attention. I will be attentive to their needs and do all I can to give them a safe loving and comfortable home away from home. If you need me to take care of your pet in your home I will make sure to manage any anxiety your pet may have by giving them lots of gentle love and attention. I will respect your home and will happily provide any small housekeeping tasks you may need while you are away (take out trash, check mailbox etc) Please note that overnight boarding charge is for a 24hr period. I only board one animal at at time (unless it’s two pets from same household). I am married with a 10 year old daughter who is also a massive animal lover! Our home is calm and cosy and we love nothing more than relaxing with our cats and hosting our pet friends! I am flexible and can fit your schedule. I am available both weekends and weekdays and have reliable transport. I have a large fenced in yard and our home has plenty of room for dogs/cats who want to stay over. Your pet is allowed anywhere in the house. If they are used to sleeping in your bedroom then I’m happy for them to sleep in mine. I have two cats of my own, but your pets never have to interact with them (unless they want to!) I always make sure to keep my cats in a separate part of the house if a visitor is too excitable around them! When it come to cats, I am particularly adept at connecting with fearful or aggressive pets and will take time to manage any anxiety with a calm and soothing energy. Likewise if your cat likes to play or enjoys cuddles I’m more than happy to oblige!

Schedule
I am available weekdays and weekends. My schedule is super flexible. My husband works at home, so there is usually always one of us in the house!

Safety, trust & environment
My back garden is fully fenced and secure. I can accommodate your pets needs and we will discuss those during the meet and greet. My cats are used to other animal visitors and are very chill and non confrontational. They have space to get out of the way if they need to when we have visitors!

A typical day
I will be mindful of your dogs energy level and personality traits. I can provide dog toys they will enjoy, plenty of petting and praise and a safe calm environment. I know some great dog friendly green spaces we can roam. Your fur baby will be treated like a member of our family. I know how stressful it can be when owners have to leave their beloved pets (and vice versa). I will keep you updated with pictures and notes and pay lots of special attention to our guest so that they feel safe, loved and secure. My family are always so excited when we have a guest stay over and we’ve made some great friends (animals and owners) since I started doing pet sitting!
