“Anastasiia took great care of Lexi! She always sent cute photos and updated me on her mood and when she wasn’t feeling well during the beginning of my absence. Thank you!”

About: I have always loved dogs and I have my own pet husky, Axel! I think enrichment is crucial for pet care and I will keep your pup entertained with lots of love, exercise, and cuddles :) I recently graduated from UW Seattle and I am looking for pet-sitting gigs in the meantime. I love going for walks in the mornings and evenings to start and end my days. I will provide gentle care and walks and runs as needed. I can also provide basic grooming services like brushing and/or teeth brushing if needed.
“This was the first time Paola took care of our cats. We couldn't be happier! Our cats were very happy, well fed and everything was tidy when we returned. I would book her again in a heartbeat.”

“We are so happy to have found Jasmin on such short notice. She did so well with doing check-in visits with our cat Yuki in our home and ensured everything was okay. She sent us photos, which we really appreciated, and any important updates during our time out of town. Needless to say, Jasmin completely exceeded our expectations! We will be using her services in the future.”
“Yijun was amazing! She was very responsible — refilled my cat’s water, cleaned the litter box, checked on my cat’s well-being, and sent me videos and photos to share updates. She truly loves cats and patiently played with mine. I highly recommend Yijun.”

“Great communication and worked with us on tight notice. My (typically shy) dog warmed up to him immediately at the meet and greet. Thank you for taking great care of her!”

“Lauren did an amazing job of watching my cat for a week! She was easy to communicate with and she sent lots of photos and updates, I totally recommend her for any of your pet-watching needs.”

“Viktoriia was so sweet and gentle with our dog and cat! She kept us updated everyday, and our pets love her. Will definitely book her for our future tips! Thank you so much!”

“Toki took really good care of our cats while we were not there. We appreciated everything he has done. We have very good communication all those days. When we are back home, the cats are healthy and happy. Thank you! 👍”

“Hunter was calm and welcoming when she first met our new Puppy. She came in and immediately jumped in and started calmly playing with her. They went outside and played nicely for an hour.”

About: I have experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’ve been the reliable friend people turn to when they’re away. Some of the routines look like: stopping in to feed pets, provide fresh water, clean up, and offer enrichment and play, and companionship so they feel comfortable and not alone. I also have experience house sitting and staying overnight for up to four nights, making sure pets feel safe, settled, and cared for in their own environment. I’ve been around animals since I was about 10 years old, including golden retrievers, labs, and cats, and I often ask to say hello when I see a furry friend out and about. I welcome different temperaments and adjust myself to meet them where they’re comfortable. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and aim to provide calm, attentive, and loving care so fur babies feel secure, seen, and cared for while their best friend is away. I am available all days of the week, between 9:00 am-6:00 pm, can provide overnight care, please send me a message. (Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat) The goal is calm, consistency, and reading pet cues. 1. Follow their routine exactly Pets feel safest with predictability. Feed at the same times Use the same food amounts and bowls Keep walks/playtime similar to what they’re used to Even small changes can make sensitive pets anxious. 2. Do a careful first check-in When I arrive: I look for water level, food, accidents, or damage I observe their behavior (hiding, excited, nervous, clingy) I let them come to me rather than forcing interaction. 3. I arrive with a calm presence Many pets don’t need constant stimulation, they need steady companionship. I prefer to sit quietly near them, talk softly and let shy pets approach me on their terms 4. Exercise + enrichment (tailored to each pet) Dogs: walks, sniff time, fetch (if they enjoy it) Cats: wand toys, gentle play, window time I may suggest to keep sessions short if they get overstimulated 5. I like to help keep the home clean and safe by scooping litter boxes daily (sometimes twice per day), pick up wrappers or food items immediately, wipe paws if needed after walks, and keep doors locked and secure at all times 6. Respect their boundaries This is a big one for trust: I try not to force picking up or petting and watch for signs like tail flicking, hiding, freezing, or overstimulation. I let them decompress alone if needed. 7. I love the saying, “Leave things better than you found them” My fur friends owners say they appreciate: Clean bowls and litter areas, a tidy feeding/walking area, and the notes about how they did during the visit 8. I communicate clearly Send updates like: “Fed, walked, and doing well,” Photos (if allowed) and any changes in behavior or appetite
“Lydia is our go-to to watch our cats when we are out of town. She is caring, dedicated, responsible, and dependable, and we feel so much more at ease when we know she’s looking after Tiramisu and Mochi. I cannot recommended her enough!”

“Zheru was an amazing cat sitter, my two cats warmed up to her immediately and she took great care of them! She also took in my trash cans and brought in packages for it and was very communicative through our entire trip.”

“Elissa took great care of my dog while I was out of town celebrating my birthday. She was punctual, responsible, and followed all of my instructions perfectly. She kept me updated during each visit, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing my pup was in good hands. I really appreciated how reliable and caring she was throughout the entire experience. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dependable pet sitter. Thank you so much, Elissa!”

About: I grew up with multiple dogs and have always loved being around animals. I’ve had my own chocolate lab since I was 16. He’s now 12 so I have years of experience caring for dogs through every life stage. I’ve also helped take care of dogs for friends and family. In addition, I’ve looked after cats by visiting their homes, feeding them, and cleaning litter boxes. I treat every pet like my own, with patience, attention, and lots of love. I’m a restaurant owner with a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide attentive and reliable care for your pets. I have plenty of time to focus on their needs and ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I care for pets in my client’s home by following their usual routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I provide fresh food and water, walks (for dogs), playtime, and lots of attention. I also keep the home clean by tidying up after pets and maintaining litter boxes for cats. I always respect the client’s home and instructions, and I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Bellevue
My wife and I met Joie for the first time during the meet & greet at our apartment and we very quickly felt comfortable trusting her with our cats during our 8+ day trip. That feeling only became stronger while we were away. Joie is VERY good at what she does. She followed all of our instructions carefully, paid attention to small changes, and always let us know when something needed our attention. Her amazing visit reports became something we genuinely looked forward to every day. They were detailed, reassuring, and written with so much care. What mattered most was how well she cared for and connected with our cats. They became comfortable with her quickly, played with her, and clearly trusted her. One of our cats had an appetite issue early in the trip which worried us. Joie handled it patiently and quickly got her eating normally again, and continued monitoring her appetite and other important patterns for the rest of the trip without us even needing to ask. When we came home, both cats were happy, well nourished, eating normally, and in good spirits. Their energy and behavior felt completely normal, which was probably the clearest sign of how well they had been cared for while we were away. We are very grateful to have found Joie and would recommend her without hesitation, especially to anyone looking for a pet sitter in downtown Bellevue. We would absolutely hire her again!
This is the second time Mackenzie has watched and visited our cats. She is amazing! Her pictures, communication, and following our advice for each cat is top notch. We have four cats and a lot of litter boxes. She took care of those messes daily and still found time to pet and play with each cat. I am a bit anxious leaving them, but she is a wonderful sitter and made me feel like she truly loves each one of the cats :). I will continue to book her in the future and anyone reading this should too!

Lydia was wonderful with our two cats while we were away! She went above and beyond during every check-in, always staying for the full scheduled time and making sure our cats had plenty of attention and playtime. Our cats are normally pretty wary of strangers, but they quickly warmed up to Lydia, which was great to see. She also did an excellent job keeping the litter box area tidy and their water dishes clean. We felt very comfortable knowing they were in such good hands and would absolutely recommend Lydia!

Paola is the best pet sitter! We were so afraid about living our cats Milo and Pipo alone, but we found Paola ! She is responsible, dependable, trustworthy and she loves animals. Everyday during the 3 weeks she sent us photos and updates. And when we came back our cats were happy and healthy. We will rebook her always for sure! 100% recommended !! Our family love her !

Irina has taken care of my cat, Mimi, several times now, and has done a fantastic job every time. She's communicative, detail-oriented, and always willing to help in whatever way is needed. She lets me know right away if any issues come up, and sends plenty of photos so I can see how Mimi is doing. I'm so glad I found Irina, I can travel knowing Mimi is in great hands.

Hongfei took great care of my cats over the weekend. He was very attentive, spent plenty of time playing with them, and made sure they were comfortable and happy. He even cleaned up a hairball when she threw up, which I really appreciated. It was clear that he genuinely cares about cats. I would definitely book with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter.

Vicky was an absolutely amazing pet sitter! From the very beginning, she treated our pets with so much love, patience, and care. She sent us thoughtful daily updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind and let us see how happy they were while we were away. She quickly won both of our pets’ hearts, and it was clear they felt comfortable, safe, and loved with her. We feel incredibly lucky to have found someone who cared for them as if they were her own. We couldn’t recommend Vicky more highly, and we’ll definitely be booking with her again. Thank you, Vicky, for taking such wonderful care of our furry family!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
