Sunrise, mid-day, and night time. I have a 7 year old in my home, she loves animals as well so your fur baby should really enjoy children, have a low prey drive and patience to be a good fit for in home care. I care for my animals like they are my own family. I don't believe kibble and bits is a sustainable long-term way to keep your fur baby alive and healthy for years to come, so I cook fresh dog and catfood that can be added to their kibble or served stand alone. They love it and it's a quick way to get them comfortable and trusting of a new environment especially if they have separation anxiety. I establish myself as the big mama pack leader lol and they listen. I've had dogs that have had aggression towards other dogs come and board with me and make new paw pals. Dogs need to know that you are someone that can lead with love and that method has always had me have success with my furry friends. For cats, I know that they come from a long history and memory in their genes of being chased, disrespected, and even tortured in some places in the world so they need a lot of respect as far as space and allowing them to warm up. Every animal is different, but for cats specifically, I make sure to let them come to me when they're ready and give them their cozy permission to be free. Indipendence is key with felines for sure! My daughter is phenomenal at loving on these fur babies! Some have become her best friend very quickly, while others prefer the mama of the pack XD, either way we have a lot of fun.

It all started at the age of 4 with my best friend Sebastian (a lovely and majestic cat). From that point on, I have fallen in love with every animal there is to know. About: I have had and been around dogs since I was about 5 years old and have loved every second of it. Animals have always held a special place in my heart and I couldn't imagine my life without them. I started taking care of our family pets once I was a teenager and over a year ago I adopted my dog, Bumi, from Seattle Humane. Bumi turned out to be highly reactive and since adopting him I have worked extensively with a trainer and become very familiar with reactive dogs and can handle them well, provided they have some level of training. I have also looked after cats from my friends and acquaintances and have never had a negative experience aside from the occasional ankle swipe or warning bite, as cats are want to do. After working with my reactive dog I have become very sensitive to animals body language and know when to back off. While cats body language is quite different from a dogs I have plenty of experience and know when a cat does not want to be approached. I've loved every single dog and cat I have come across and would love to provide excellent care for your pets. I'm currently an unemployed scientist waiting for the NIH to be funded again so my schedule during the day is wide open. I have some responsibilities in the evening that can last a few hours but can still attend to pets as needed. As I have a reactive dog at home I won't be able to house pets at my home but can come to your house and care for your pets. Your pets safety and well-being are incredibly important to me. This includes stress levels and other emotional issues. While taking care of your pets I will work to ensure their comfort and reduce their stress while you are away.

She also took extra care to ask about Lucy's medications and how best to keep Lucy cool on a couple of unusually hot days. Her young daughter gave Lucy lots of attention. When I picked Lucy up, I got the impression she would have been happy to stay longer! I highly recommend Ana and will definitely ask her to host Lucy again in the future.”
