**do you need pet care over the holidays?? Let me know!** I’m a movement and visual artist based in Seattle, WA. Currently in graduate school, remotely. What I love about walking and pet sitting is the flexibility in schedule. Dog walking and pet sitting can be done within a timeframe which I find works well for my schedule and yours. I also why I try to stay with the same clients, if it’s a good match. I'd love to get to know your fury friend! I’m currently open to booking weekly repeating clients!

Safety, trust & environment
For dog walks, I can send a text before and after the walk and photos so you know everything is safe and sound! I’ve got my own poop bags and treats, unless you have preferred treats of course. I can provide my own leash, but prefer to use yours since it’s what your pup knows. We always stop, sit, look both ways before crossing the street. Unless I know your dog well and you have given me the “ok, my dog is friendly”, I don’t approach other people and their dogs on walks. For dog sits and cat sits, a list for food instructions, medical needs, vet numbers, and where toys live is helpful. Also where to dump litter and poop bags!
Information Margaret H. would like to know about your pet
I strongly encourage a meet and greet consultation. Other important information includes name, address and phone number of your dogs vet and if your dog is friendly or not with other dogs and people, any medical needs or health concerns, feeding and treating instructions, and where the toys and brushes live is also important information. Will you have phone service where you are traveling (though not required) and personal emergency contacts.
A typical day
A typical dog walk consists of taking a walk around your pup’s neighborhood. Treating more during the first walks together and building trust. I also like to get an idea of the neighborhood I'm in. I've got experience walking in Fremont to Mount Baker, Madrona to Magnolia & Ballard. For pet sits, I make sure water bowls are full, enough food is out or properly prepared and served. For dog sits we’ll usually play, go over some light training or relax depending on your dogs needs. For cats, everything with food and water is checked same as would be for dogs. We will play, have a nice brushing session or relax.

Margaret is great! She sends frequent updates and always leaves my house in order and a happy dog!

Margaret has been taking care of our pup for a few years now. She's always reliable, takes great care of our home, and we always come home to a happy dog. Nothing but great things to say.

Margaret took great care of Charlie and our house, once again. It's such a relief to know everything is in good hands when traveling. Our dog is always so happy to see her!
