“Tomas took such good care of Brady! He kept us updated with pictures, and Brady loved all the play time and snuggles. Everything was very smooth, even with our last minute booking, and we appreciated how he went above and beyond!”

“Brenda is awesome. She gave our two pups the BEST weekend while we were gone. Brenda goes above and beyond, and we will 1,000% be calling her again. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you, Brenda!!”

“My 2 year old Springer Spaniel Boxer mix, Edie, had a wonderful time with Jana and her family! When I normally leave Edie at her doggy daycare to travel, she barely eats and seems anxious when I come to pick her up. Not the case this time! Edie ate all the food I had packed for her along with all the treats! She loved running around and puppy style wrestling with Hazel! Jana gave me updates twice a day with pictures and videos of the ladies playing. I truly do believe that Edie had a dog vacay with Hazel and Jana!”

“The best people I’ve ever left Arbor with. They really went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable. Sent pictures regularly. Even gave her a bath and brushed her! Will 100000% book again!”

“Gregg was wonderful at caring for our dog Koda over the weekend! He was easy to communicate with prior to Koda's stay -- we set up a meet-and-greet to make sure they were a good fit, and he took notes to make sure he understood Koda's needs and quirks. During her weekend at his home, he sent great photos and updates to show they were both enjoying each others' company. Koda seemed really happy and well cared-for, and we would look forward to having Gregg watch Koda again in the future. Thanks so much!”

“Maria and Kalyan (and Nikko) provided excellent care for Hazel while I was away. Hazel can be a bit anxious when I leave her with a Rover, but they helped her settle in right away. They sent lots of photo and video updates, so I could trust that Hazel was being well-cared for. They really understand Aussies. And by the end of the weekend, Hazel was even caught holding hands with their dog Nikko! New bestie acquired! I would gladly book with them again, and I think Hazel would be thrilled as well.”

“I so appreciate the love Maria extends my pup, and treats her like one of her own. He is getting older, and she is patient and understanding with any of his needs.”

“Super experience for us - and Tilly! Erin and Kevin are perfectly set up to take care of dogs, the proximity to Alki beach is a fun added bonus. They were very communicative, flexible and clearly dog lovers. A great experience all around!”

“I am genuinely happy that I get the chance to leave a review for Matt, and even more pleased that I was able to connect with him for boarding of my 12 year old Greyhound, Hazel. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to leaving my dog behind - she's a senior dog with the usual accompanying medical issues, and doesn't always do well staying away from home. During our time away, Hazel could not have been in better hands. Matt was extremely responsive, empathetic to Hazel's various "complications," and had a great crew of other friendly canines staying over to boot. Matt is a great guy, and knows how to handle dogs - Would (And already have!) make another boarding reservation with no hesitation. Thank you, Matt! Can't wait for Hazel to come back over to play.”
“Mimi took phenomenal care of my very old and fairly awkward pup. My dog takes a very long time to warm up to anyone, and within a day or two of her stay with Mimi she was snuggling right in and seemingly very happy. Mimi shared regular updates and was very attentive to my dog — even arranging for a nail trim and picking up a prescription that we unexpectedly ran out of. I would recommend Mimi to anyone, especially folks with dogs who may need some extra TLC. Thank you, Mimi!”

“Jennifer took wonderful care of my two rescue Chi mixes who can be a little nervous and reactive. She took them for a walk and sent pictures of them cozied up during their stay. Our first overnight was a success! I also appreciated the care and attention she showed during our initial meet and greet. She is kind and patient and I feel comfortable leaving my beloved pups with her. They were happy to come home when she graciously brought them out to my car.”

“Martha took great care of my Bernese puppy. She sent so many pictures while he was playing, and many while he was snuggling with him, reflecting how comfortable he was. Martha communicated frequently and was responded quickly. We highly recommend her.”

“Devan was great! Checked in with us regularly to let us know how Blaze was doing and settling in. I could tell that Blaze was well cared for and had a great time with Devan and his partner! Will definitely use him again!”

“After the first Rover boarding with someone else didn’t go so well, we weren’t sure how things will turn out this time around. However, Kimiko exceeded our expectation and we are convinced by now that she is a dog whisperer. She is loving, caring, patient, fun, understanding, reliable, responsive, knowledgable, and everything you’d look for in a carer for your pup(s). The way she communicates with us dog parents is truly professional, and our pups had an amazing stay with her and her fur babies based on pictures/videos/updates she would send us through out the stay. I feel like we found someone who not only we can trust but also our pups feel comfortable and safe being around. Thank you, Kimiko!♥️”

“Rich, Daniel, and their sweet Westies took great care of our girl (seven-year-old Jack Russell mix) over the holidays. I appreciated the chance for a meet-and-greet in advance of our trip to make sure all the dogs got along, and while we were away Rich sent photos every day and let us know how she was settling in. Next time we need a safe and comfortable place for our pup to stay, he'll be our first call.”

“Melissa and Allan are the perfect Rover pet sitters. Our dog, Jolene, had such a great time going on long walks and lounging on their sun deck that we worried she wouldn’t want to come back home after staying with them. Melissa is incredibly responsive with messages and sent tons of cute photos and detailed updates. We felt completely assured that our pup was in good hands while we traveled, which allowed us to have a relaxing vacation. 100% would recommend.”

“Laila took AMAZING care of our dog while we were away for the weekend. Our dog had some digestive issues a few hours after we left him with Laila and we were extremely worried. Laila took him to the emergency vet and everything ended up being okay. She kept us very well-updated with photos and videos as well as calling us to talk to the emergency vet. I’m so grateful that our dog was in such good hands. We would absolutely book with Laila again and highly recommend her to anyone out there who is looking for a sitter. We would give her 10 stars if we could!”

“Allie was a great sitter! I felt so comfortable having her check in on my two cats. She was very communicative and gave such detailed updates every day. My cats both seemed very happy and comfortable when I got back! Thanks so much Allie!”

“This was the second time Kevin checked in on my two cats, and he was awesome! They both went right up to greet him when he came to pick up the key, and were clearly happy to see him. He embraces their energy and takes such good care of them. I appreciate his updates as well!”

“Salena continues to deliver top notch care and is very quickly winning over my two little guys. She’s been so patient with them - and me! I trust that she’ll always ask questions, if needed and is very easy to work with.”

“Melissa was great, very professional and took good care of our senior kitty! We loved the photos she sent during her check ins, felt very taken care of! Will definitely book with her again!”

“Nancy is terrific. She is wonderful with our dogs (they love her). She is reliable and provides us with peace of mind knowing our pups are on good hands.”

“Katie is such a professional and it’s clear she takes the responsibility of the pets in her care seriously. She arrived on time for all check-ins and followed directions to the letter. She took several photos at each visit and wrote up a detailed description of her time with my boys. It totally allowed me to relax and have confidence that they were taken care of while I was gone. I will absolutely be booking with her again.”

“Christina took great care of our three cats, including our elderly orange tabby who requires a couple medications. She was professional, timely, and we received cute pictures and detailed updates from her visits. Would definitely book Christina again.”

“Alexa did a fantastic job looking after our five kitties. She was very flexible, and adapted to changing needs on the fly. Would 100% trust her with our babies again.”

“Melissa took wonderful care of our cat while we were gone for a week. She provided lots of pictures and details about how our guy was doing with each visit, and he really bonded with her. We definitely recommend Melissa and will use her again.”

“Chelsey was so sweet and made us feel so comfortable leaving our kitten for a few days. She always send a long paragraph and photos of what they were up to for the day. I really appreciated that!!”

“Rachel was wonderful, very thoughtful and reliable for cat-sitting drop ins. I would definitely use her again! Prompt replies, showed up when she said she would, all in all, very professional.”

“Nadiia is always the best. When I had to be out of town for 10 days at fairly short notice, I knew I could count on her to take care of Pippin, my 18yo cat, just as I would. She accommodated all his routines and quirks and left everything beautifully clean.”

“Jude is a fabulous pet sitter. He made the time to come visit with me and my cats before I left town. I had my new kittens for only a month when he started looking after them, and when I came home I felt like they were no longer as skittish or jumpy after two weeks with Jude. He kept me up to date and was very kind with my girls. I will be hiring him again in the future.”

“Tomas took very good care of Evie, he gave her a lot of attention and really spoiled her. Evie had a great time , got along well with Karma and both respected each others space. Tomas made sure Evie had lots of playtime, treats and snuggles. Evie can’t wait to see Tomas & Karma again!”

“Clarissa and Yasiel took great care of Pickles! He's had some separation anxiety lately but he settled in just fine. They kept me updated throughout the day and sent cute photos. We will rebook!”

“Thank you so much Rachel! She was so attentive, flexible, and understanding of my dog. I felt like he was in good hands all day and I would happily book with her again whenever I need to.”

“Beau is kind, flexible and professional. Both my senior dog and my 7 month old pup went directly to him-exhibiting no separation anxiety at all. He took very good care of both dogs and worked-happily-around my complicated schedule. It was reassuring to trust that my dogs were getting top notch care!”

“This was the first time my husband and I ever left our pups with a sitter. We felt reassured and completely safe Zeus and Dash were in great care. Matt, too, has a giant breed, which is important to us because we have 2 Great Pyrenees. They all had fun together. We received plenty of pics, videos and ample communication throughout the day. We’re lucky to have found Matt and his sincere love of dogs. Thank you so much Matt! We truly appreciate the love and care Zeus and Dash received. I highly recommend him but he’s our sitter for life ?”

“Erika was amazing with our girls! As a helicopter puppy parent, she was fabulous about sending lots of pictures and videos while I was at work to get me through the day. We will definitely see Erika again soon, they had so much fun!”

“Rachel is kind, patient, and flexible. Evie has had such a wonderful time playing at her house with Jane. She came home tired and happy and I was so happy to have some pet help for a couple of weeks. Thank you, Rachel and Jane!”

“Niko loves going here and they take such good care of him! He pulls to the door in excitement and that’s the best sign that there can be to show how good they are to him ! They send me his pictures and keep me updated on what he’s doing throughout the day. Pick up and drop off has been extremely smooth- even at times that I need to drop him off extremely early. Both Lorrie and Andrew were extremely accommodating!”

“Finding someone you trust with your dog isn’t easy, but Grace made it simple. She is organized, reliable and experienced. Our dog warmed up to her immediately. She asked the right questions upfront and sent updates after walks / boarding that put us completely at ease. Highly recommend!”

“Nancy is warm and caring, which Finley sensed as soon as she opened the door. Finley ran into the house to greet Nancy and never looked back. She was instantly comfortable with her, which put us at ease too. We trust Finley’s instincts about people and she loved her time with Nancy.”

“Jerry was thoughtful, communicative and did a great job caring for my dog! My dog is an escape artist and I felt comfortable leaving her in his care because he has a secure backyard, a double gate system by the front door, and was diligent about keeping her safe.”
“I would say Pickles had a 12/10 great time at Kim's daycare! He is a high energy puppy and he came home each day happy and exhausted. Kim took lots of photos and action shots, so cute. He is always so excited to go back and see his friends!”

I have a fenced yard, love taking walks with dogs - whether that's one longer walk or multiple shorter walks, whatever it is they need.
“From the very first day, Maria has been so attentive and enthusiastic. Pickles is always ecstatic to see here. We also appreciate the framed photo of Pickles while he is still a puppy. Thank you Maria!”

About: A stay at home mom who will care for your pet as they are a part of my family 💓 I am a caretaker by heart. I've cared for animals, children, and the elderly since I was 13 years old. After my second child, I left teaching and social work to steward my children and home. We are helping to care for my mother's emotional support cat since 2020 and really enjoy meeting new furry friends. I have most experience with small dogs that require gentle care, administering medication, and providing care for their special needs. I am at home full time 7 days a week. I have plenty of time and attention to care and play with your pet. I go for walks daily and would love a companion to join me. Your pet will be loved and showered with attention at our home. My open schedule allows me to cater to your pet's needs and spend the extra time with them. We live in a very walkable neighborhood in West Seattle with safe sidewalks.

“Lucas is so kind and thoughtful to my pups. He genuinely cares about them and how they are doing; how they respond to him and their responses to social situations. I was blessed to have found him so quickly. If you are thinking of having someone walk your pets, house sit or just do drop ins- Lucas is the one you want.”

“Kaiya had the best walk with Christina!! Christina is a great listener and communicator when it comes to your dog’s needs! Kaiya was so comfortable quickly at the meet and greet!! I know Kaiya will be looking forward to future walks with Christina!!”

“Alexa is a pro. She is responsive, punctual, and professional. We received awesome photo and text updates. Our dog hasn’t spent a lot of time with new people and we were so relieved to learn that he adjusted quickly to her and we plan to hire her again and again.”

“I just loved meeting Morgan when she came for meet and greet with my two puppies. She had a great attitude, the dogs immediately gravitated to her, and I could tell they would have loving and safe care. Everything went well on their walkabout, and I look forward to booking her again. Morgan, you’re awesome!”

“Katie was amazing! Always let me know if she was running a few min late. My dogs loved her, and she handled them well (they're strong pullers). Very positive attitude, even when the rain was just bucketing down! Would definitely recommend, and will use her again next time I need a dog walker :-)”

“We recently started working with Gillian for weekly walks for our senior pup, and are so happy that we connected with them! Our experience so far has been wonderful. Gillian is thoughtful, responsive, and given their experience as a vet tech we are confident in their ability to take care when spending time with our dog, who is arthritic and has some medical issues. Gillian communicates well, and when we come home after work our dog is chipper and relaxed and we know he had a good day.”

“Julia was great with my dog and cat, kept me informed and provided daily pictures and updates. She also was very accommodating when I requested to schedule a visit the first time she was meeting my dog, Bear in short notice. Highly recommend. Ty Julia!”
About: I’ve been taking care of plenty of dogs in my neighborhood since I was little, being sent off to walk, feed, or check-in on dogs that varied from being just over a month or two old to some of the oldest dogs I’ve ever gotten the pleasure to meet with them still kicking at 15 years old. I’ve been a dog person all my life and any opportunity to see them is always a plus for me. I’m currently home from college for the summer so my schedule is totally free to take care of these pups whenever and wherever I am needed! I’ve taken care of my own little old dog from puppyhood to him becoming a very old man in our house, he requires quite a bit of specific needs with his food so I am more than capable of tending to whatever possible requests you would have that the pups around me will need.

“We love Melanie! Our Rowdy got so excited even when she first arrived! He had the best day and was so worn out after the walk! And all ready for cuddles! Can’t wait to have her come again! In 2 days! Thank you Melanie!”

About: All my life my family has had dogs, and taking care of them has brought me such joy. I love being able to take walks and play outside with a canine companion. I’m very familiar with taking care of both the large dogs I grew up with and the smaller dogs I’ve previously taken care of. I’m home for the summer from college and planing to take care of pets while I’m back. My schedule is incredibly open while I’m in Seattle. I’m available to take walks or yard play time with your dog as needed and am able to stay with your pets through the night or drop by depending on schedules and needs. I can provide both company or playtime inside and exercise outside. Whatever the dog needs whether it's to be able to go in and out from the yard freely or walks I can be there to provide.

“Billy is attentive to our dog’s natural dispositions and ensures he has such a great time on his walks. He is the best option for short walks, check ins or longer walks and will make sure your dog has a great break from the norm. Highly recommend!”

About: I have prior experience as a professional dog walker and trainer, volunteering and working with dogs at the Sacramento (CA) SPCA, Seattle Humane Society, Ahimsa Dog training in Ballard, and the Service Dog Academy (formerly in the Morgan Junction in West Seattle). I also attended the Karen Pryor Academy Dog Trainer Program in Salem, OR. In June, I will be taking an early retirement after 20 years as an elementary school teacher. I have owned dogs and cats my whole life, and we recently lost our sweet husky, Luna. I am excited for the opportunity to channel my love and devotion to animals to your furry one! I am retiring from full time teaching, and will be substitute teaching occassionally, but plan to devote most of my time to pet care, so I will have a very flexible schedule I have a secure, large, fenced in property for your pup(s) to pay in. We have a very comfortable home, but your pup must be able to climb a set of stairs as our house is a split level. Your dog will be treated as an honorary member of the family while they are here, and, since we are currently pet-free, will get all the love and attention they need!

About: Hi! I’ve been walking dogs for over 10 years just for fun, and now I’m offering my services. I’m reliable, friendly, and know all the best parks and walks in the West Seattle area. Your pup will be safe, happy, and well-exercised! I will also have more days available in February, since I’ll be going remote so stay tuned! In the meantime I do have evening check ins available through it the week just send me a message asking my availability :) To ensure your dog receives the attention, exercise, and companionship they need, let’s structure their daily routine with me :) during each visit we can have a nice walk that serve as both physical exercise and mental stimulation, helping to keep your dog happy and healthy. In addition to walks, I set aside time to relax outdoors together, especially when the weather is nice. Whether it’s lounging in the sunshine, playing in the yard, or just sitting on the porch, these calm moments help me bond and allow your dog to enjoy fresh air and natural surroundings. Caring for pets—whether in my own home or a client’s—is all about creating a safe, loving, and consistent environment. My approach varies slightly depending on the service, but my commitment to the pets’ well-being stays the same. In My Home: When pets stay with me, I treat them like part of the family. I maintain their usual feeding schedules, offer plenty of playtime, and provide a cozy, clean space for them to relax. Daily walks, outdoor time, and lots of affection are always part of the routine. I pay close attention to their behavior and comfort level, and I’m always happy to send updates and photos to the pet parents. In Clients’ Homes: When caring for pets in your own environment, I make sure to follow all instructions closely—from feeding and medication to preferred walk routes and routines. I aim to keep everything as familiar as possible to reduce stress and keep pets feeling secure. I also take time to tidy up after each visit, give them affection and interaction, and provide updates so clients know their pets are in good hands. Whether it’s in my home or yours, I focus on building trust with each pet, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for.

About: Hello! I’m Julian, and for the last 25 years, I’ve dedicated myself to the happiness, safety, and well-being of dogs. Animals aren't just a hobby for me; they are a central part of my family life. Together with my wife and two kids, we share our home with two incredible dogs of our own: a spunky Miniature Pinscher and a loyal German Shepherd. Over the past two decades, I’ve been the go-to dog sitter for friends, neighbors, and family whenever they travel. I know firsthand how tough it can be to leave your furry family members behind, which is why my goal is always to provide the exact same level of love, attention, and structured care that I give my own pups. As a family man and lifelong dog lover, my day is structured around a reliable routine. This makes it incredibly easy for me to seamlessly blend your pup’s care into my daily schedule! Morning Sunshine Walks (8:15 AM – 9:30 AM) After I drop my boys off at school by 8:00 AM, my morning is completely open. This is the perfect window for high-energy pups who need to burn off some morning steam, or for dogs who need a quick breakfast drop-in and potty break right after you head out for the day. Mid-Day Lunch Breaks (11:30 AM – 1:00 PM) I have excellent flexibility during my lunch hour to pop out for a quick check-in or a brisk neighborhood stroll. If your dog gets lonely during the middle of the work day, I am happy to break up their afternoon with a fun, refreshing visit. Late Afternoon Strolls (After Work) Once my workday wraps up, I dedicate a solid two hours to late afternoon and early evening care. This is ideal for getting your pup some exercise and fresh air right before you get home, ensuring they are happy, tired, and relaxed when you walk through the door. Weekend Adventures & Flexibility I am also available for walks and drop-in visits over the weekend! Whether you are heading out for a day trip, running errands, or just need a hand keeping your pup active on Saturdays and Sundays, my weekend schedule is highly flexible and ready to accommodate your needs. Because my schedule is tied to my family and regular routine, you can count on me to be exceptionally punctual, reliable, and consistent for your furry best friend! For me, safety isn’t about checking boxes, it’s just how I live. Between raising my kids and taking care of my own two dogs (a tiny Min-Pin and a big German Shepherd), keeping an eye out for potential trouble is second nature to me. I promise to treat your home and your dog with the exact same respect I give my own. When I’m visiting your home My main focus is keeping things secure and comfortable. Before I leave, I always double-check that the doors are locked, the gates are shut tight, and the crate is securely latched. I’m also super respectful of your space. While I’m there, I make sure the water bowl is fresh, food amounts are exactly what you asked for, and that nothing dangerous is left out on the counters where curious paws can reach it. When we’re out on walks Having handled dogs of all shapes and sizes, I know that walks require 100% of my attention. I don't stare at my phone or zone out. My eyes are always scanning ahead for things like loose dogs, stray trash on the sidewalk, or sudden distractions like squirrels and bikes. I keep a firm grip on the leash, and I don't let your dog greet strange dogs on the sidewalk, it’s just safer for everyone that way. Communication and peace of mind Taking my own dogs through formal training really helped me understand dog body language, so I can tell right away if a pup is feeling anxious, excited, or just needs a break. I know it takes a lot of trust to let someone into your house, so I make sure to send a quick note and a few photos after every single visit. That way, you know exactly how the walk went and can see for yourself that your pup is happy and safe.

“Tomas took such good care of Brady! He kept us updated with pictures, and Brady loved all the play time and snuggles. Everything was very smooth, even with our last minute booking, and we appreciated how he went above and beyond!”

“Michelle was amazing with Marty and Lola. This was their first stay and won’t be the last. They have very different personalities and things to watch out for. And she figured this out with both our input and from spending time with and paying them attention. She communicated and provided photos. We came back to two happy dogs. Thanks Michelle!”

“Brantley is the best! Our George, who has separation anxiety, walked away shaking his little Frenchie butt and didn’t look back. Brantley sent us several photos of George having a good time. He’s a great communicator and we recommend Brantley a hundred percent!”

“Millie and Poppy had the best time with Micaela! She took them to the beach, played in the garden, and even got to play with kids from the neighborhood. She was super communicative and shared many videos and photos along the way, giving me total peace of mind they were in great hands while I was away! Would absolutely rebook!”

“Second time with Kevin and Angelique. Good communication and pictures. Our dog clearly enjoys being with them and gets a lot of attention. They are good at knowing how to take care of him and fit him in with other dogs.”

“Nancy takes such good care of our Wayne! He’s a sensitive soul, so I’m always so heartbroken having to leave him behind. However Nancy, her home, and family are so gentle and good to him! I messed up and he ran out of his food during our trip, she went out and found his exact food! Kind and trustworthy! 10/10!”

“Couldn’t ask for better sitters for our dog! Lorrie & Andrew watched our pup while we were out of the country and sent multiple daily updates. This ensured us that our dog was in great hands - and it was so sweet getting videos of Maisy and our pup playing together! Our flight home was canceled at the last minute and Lorrie & Andrew were super responsive and flexible - they were able to take our dog for extended nights on short notice. We would certainly book with them again!”

“This was my first time boarding my 5 year old Belgian mal mix with anyone outside my family. I was very very anxious. To keep it short- all these 5 star reviews are true! Jeremy is responsive, sends regular updates, and provides pups with all the exercise and love they could want. I am so happy to have this option and I know my pup will be over the moon to see him again!”

“Our pup is the most anxious girl and hates not being home. Jennie was so patient with her, kind, welcoming. She provided plenty of updates and our pup was so happy in her care. We are deeply appreciative and would rebook with Jennie without hesitation. You can’t find better care for your pup.”

“Samantha was absolutely wonderful taking care of Teddy. Teddy had lots of fun playing with Samantha, meeting her friends and taking very long walks with her! Samantha was so patient with Teddy when he was first nervous. She sent me consistent updates on Teddy & each time, it looked like he was having a blast. In fact, after she took care of Teddy, Teddy & I ran into her on a walk and he was soooo excited to see her again. Definitely recommend Samantha - she was kind, responsive, and made Teddy feel right at home in her place.”

“I highly recommend Molly for dog sitting in her home. She did everything possible to ensure my anxious Chihuahua was happy and comfortable. He ended up having a great time! We will definitely book with her again.”

“Pongo had a great weekend with Pamela. He was well taken care of and seemed to be very happy throughout his stay. Pamela provided daily photos and videos to keep me updated. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking to give your dog a stay full of love and affection.”
