I have always been taught to leave a place better than I found it, so you can rest assured I will find a way to do that if you ask me to stay in your home. I like to ensure pets feel comfy and cozy in their homes while I’m there or when I pop in for a visit. I like to make sure the pet has everything they need and that all hazards are out of reach. Growing up with a Newfoundland and multiple labs this is something I know all too well.
Information Anna H. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know the Name, age, breed, any special foods or allergies, and if there are any ailments that will need to be addressed while caring for your friend. Additionally, it is helpful to know if your pet has had any challenges with aggression or commands or if there are any neighborhood pets to avoid.
A typical day
I am a big hiker and swimmer. So I love going to the beach, or walking around the neighborhood. If the pooch is up for a longer trek I am happy to take them out. I am hesitant to let dogs who are not my own off leash, particularly if there are other dogs around. However if this is something you regularly do with your dog we can have a conversation about it.

Pet care experience
Hello! I am Anna. I have experience caring for young and elderly dogs from Newfoundland’s, labs, boxers, and border collies, and a few cats here and there. I have worked with dogs (and cats) that are a bit higher maintenance and need more day to day care (medication, special food, etc) as well as pups who are very easy going. While in Iceland I also took care of two arctic foxes at the Arctic Fox Center, with daily feeding and playing in their enclosure. I’d be very excited to meet any dogs or cats who need some care while their parents are out of town, or who just need a walk every so often throughout the week. I am back in the US visiting family right now with a variable schedule as I will occasionally pick up shifts working in marine mammal protection or as an EMT. Looking forward to meeting your best friends!
Reviews
Anna was a phenomenal house sitter and cat watcher. She made a huge effort with both cats to get them comfortable and happy with her there. She took very good care of the home and left it cleaner than she found it. She was very communicative and sent photos often. I would really recommend Anna as a pet and/or house sitter!

Anna was a rockstar! Our dog Maverick was well taken care of on our week long trip. We will be using Anna in the future and highly recommend.

I highly recommend Anna and hope to use her again for dog/house sitting. Anna is responsible, responsive and respectful - all while taking great care of our dogs. If you choose Anna you will not be disappointed.

Anna is wonderful! She did great with our 3 month old lab pup!
