Milo usually has some trouble eating when he is away from me. Maria quickly figured out how to soothe his anxiety and got him to eat quickly. Then we booked a practice day before leaving her overnight for a long weekend. We have never left our dog with anyone before and we felt really comfortable she was in a cozy spot. There were little dog beds all over the living room and Jennifer said it was okay for her to sleep in her bed too. She sent some cute photos while we were gone. We asked him beforehand if he was okay with one of our reactive and pulley dogs, and he said he was. We set up a meet and greet before booking and both our dogs took to Gregg immediately. He just had such a kind, warm demeanor to him, and although we had other meet and greets scheduled throughout the week, no one even came close to Gregg. The booking itself was exactly what we thought it would be — amazing. Gregg was very communicative, with constant updates/photos/videos throughout the day, was very attentive towards both of our dogs needs, kept them engaged throughout their stay, followed all instructions on feeding/walking times, and even kept a close eye on one of our dogs paw chewing. When we came to pick them up, it was very clear they had a blast with Gregg, and even bonded with him as well!!! About: Hi! I am Ro! I take my pet's care very seriously and that is how I will be providing care for yours. I have experience taking care of litter of puppies, brachiocephalic breeds, special needs dogs and high energy breeds. My spouse and I have 3 dogs and 3 cats. Our french bulldog has a megasophagus and my GSD have had surgeries, so we have experience taking care of pets intensively for a while. My cats have been raised with dogs around and are calm towards dogs. I have a German Shepherd, a Brittany and a French Bulldog, all very friendly and playful. We have a big and a small fenced yard and plenty of toys. A day for your dog in my house would consist of plenty of potty breaks, supervised yard time/play time, time alone with me relaxing, lick mats, puzzles, a daily walk, and play time with my dogs (if the owner allows interaction and they get along). I run a tight ship, so my dogs and your dogs will be just fine coexisting together or I can also provide care without my pets around. We are long time Rover users, so we will definitely treat your dogs as we would like our pets to be taken care of. Please let me know any food allergies. *At this time, I am only boarding 1 (2 if they are family) pet at a time to provide everyone a quality care and alone time. I work from home and I am able to take several breaks for potty breaks, feeding the dogs or supervised play time with my dogs or separated. All of my dogs are crate trained. I’m open to a free consult before any booking to discuss your pet and any questions or concerns you might have. I follow my clients’ instructions to looking after their pups to tailor each visit to their needs. If I house sit, I will not ever invite a friend or stranger over to your home and be respectful of boundaries.

Gregg was very communicative, with constant updates/photos/videos throughout the day, was very attentive towards both of our dogs needs, kept them engaged throughout their stay, followed all instructions on feeding/walking times, and even kept a close eye on one of our dogs paw chewing. When we came to pick them up, it was very clear they had a blast with Gregg, and even bonded with him as well!!! Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, and because of that, we are just so grateful to have found him!!! He is going to be our go-to sitter going forward, and we know our dogs can’t wait for their next adventure with Gregg!!!”

When I normally leave Edie at her doggy daycare to travel, she barely eats and seems anxious when I come to pick her up. Not the case this time! Edie ate all the food I had packed for her along with all the treats! She loved running around and puppy style wrestling with Hazel! Jana gave me updates twice a day with pictures and videos of the ladies playing. I truly do believe that Edie had a dog vacay with Hazel and Jana!”

About: Hi! I am Ro! I take my pet's care very seriously and that is how I will be providing care for yours. I have experience taking care of litter of puppies, brachiocephalic breeds, special needs dogs and high energy breeds. My spouse and I have 3 dogs and 3 cats. Our french bulldog has a megasophagus and my GSD have had surgeries, so we have experience taking care of pets intensively for a while. My cats have been raised with dogs around and are calm towards dogs. I have a German Shepherd, a Brittany and a French Bulldog, all very friendly and playful. We have a big and a small fenced yard and plenty of toys. A day for your dog in my house would consist of plenty of potty breaks, supervised yard time/play time, time alone with me relaxing, lick mats, puzzles, a daily walk, and play time with my dogs (if the owner allows interaction and they get along). I run a tight ship, so my dogs and your dogs will be just fine coexisting together or I can also provide care without my pets around. We are long time Rover users, so we will definitely treat your dogs as we would like our pets to be taken care of. Please let me know any food allergies. *At this time, I am only boarding 1 (2 if they are family) pet at a time to provide everyone a quality care and alone time. I work from home and I am able to take several breaks for potty breaks, feeding the dogs or supervised play time with my dogs or separated. All of my dogs are crate trained. I have a big and a small yard which would work to keep your pets and my pets seperate at all times, if needed. I can provide good care for dogs who don't do well with other dogs around as well.

About: I've loved and cared for dogs for 20+ years — and it's the senior and high-needs ones that have shaped me most as a caretaker. I've worked professionally as a dog walker and sitter, volunteered on a farm tending to sheep, pigs, and cows, and have logged years of animal care across a wide variety of contexts. My focus and true passion is senior and high-needs dogs. I currently care for Momo, my 11-year-old mini poodle rescue, who requires daily medication, mobility support, and consistent patience with separation anxiety rooted in past trauma. I'm fully comfortable managing medication schedules, specialized diets, and the kind of attentive, adaptive care that older or more complex dogs require. I also guided my previous dog, an Old English Sheepdog, through her full senior journey — including dementia-informed reactivity, significant mobility challenges, and all the nuanced day-to-day care that came with loving a big dog through her final chapter. I share my home with two poodles: Momo, and Stormy — a big, friendly 7-year-old standard who loves meeting new dogs and is equally happy to give them space if that's what they need. Stormy splits his time between my home and family nearby, so his presence varies by stay. I now work from home in a different field, and pet care is my way of staying connected to the animals I love. Your dog gets calm, present, unhurried attention from someone who is genuinely home — and genuinely invested. Senior dogs, anxious dogs, and dogs who need a little extra are especially welcome here! I work from home the majority of the week, so I'm present and available throughout most days. I'm typically in office one to two days a week — usually Wednesdays and/or Thursdays — for roughly 8 hours. Outside of those days, I'm home and attentive during business hours and fully available on evenings and weekends. I have a fully fenced yard, a one-story layout with no stairs to navigate — especially important for senior or mobility-limited dogs — and gate separation available so visiting dogs can be in the mix while still having their own space. Crates are available if needed. I keep pet cameras throughout the home so I can monitor remotely on the rare occasion I'm out. All dogs have dedicated feeding stations and I'm happy to accommodate varying meal times and dietary needs. Animal CPR documentation is posted in the home, an emergency vet is less than a mile away, and I have reliable transportation should anything come up.
“Leah and Leio (and their kids) were so loving towards Luca and went out of their way to treat him like family during his stay :) We received updates and photos often, which we loved! When I mentioned that Luca likes to look out windows during the day, they made efforts to ensure that he could do just that at their house :) Another thing I appreciated was how much info they asked upfront in our meet and greet in order to meet all of Luca’s needs and understand the manners/rules he follows when he’s at home (e.g. no table food, sitting & waiting before taking his food). This was very considerate and showed a lot of respect for Luca’s norms :) Luca got lots of love, lots of walks, and lots of space to roam during his stay! We would bring Luca back to stay with them in a heartbeat! If you’re looking for a family that will love your dog like their own and do everything they can to make your pup at home while you’re away, Leah and Leio will be the right fit for you.”
