About: I grew up with a dog and also had one as a young adult. I am married now with two kids (7 &11 both love dogs) and don't have the capacity for a dog full-time so we thought helping others with their dogs is a win-win! I work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible. I've got two kids in school and I do come and go some throughout the day so we need to watch a dog that doesn't get anxious about that. About: I’m stepping away from tech end of April to pursue my interests, and one of them is becoming a dog auntie or mom (fingers crossed!). I’ve got two wonderful older kids who’ll be at school most of the day (I share drop-offs and pick-ups with my husband), and then we’ll head to their sports in the early evening. In the day, I’ll be hitting the gym, taking walks, cooking, and diving into my hobbies. I’m usually at home most of the day unless I need to run an errand or have an appointment. I’m a friendly, tidy, and organized person who’s patient, nurturing, and loving. I live in a lovely house with a fenced yard (except for car entrance). I don’t have any pets myself, but I love helping friends with theirs. I’ve also been a temporary home for a rescue puppy while their family was away. Could do weekends for folks who travel if requesting in advance I have a fence yard (except for car entrance) in a dog friendly neighborhood. I have hardwood floors on my top floor, where I will be majority of the time. I don’t mind going to another home for a pick up and drop off however, I would prefer my home as I want to be able to pick up and drop off my kids when needed.

About: I have had pets my entire life, including large dogs, small dogs, birds, fish, and small animals. I am comfortable caring for different personalities, sizes, and needs, and I treat every pet like my own. I am a freelance designer with a flexible schedule and plenty of breaks during the day. Pet care is something I intentionally make time for. It gets me outside, adds structure to my day, and lets me spend that time caring for animals. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I understand that it is their space. I take time to build trust, follow routines closely, and make sure pets feel secure, relaxed, and at home while their owners are away.
About: Ive grown up with cats and dogs my whole life. I spent a lot of time with my cousin being a breeder taking her dogs to shows, I have learned how to take care of dogs and how to approach the ones that can be a handful at times. I work a full time Monday- friday job but on my lunches I can stop by for check ins and walks and after work as well. Weekends are always open too. If doing check ins I can clean up any accidents and make sure they are fed and have water(depending on feeding schedules) and I always have local parks and routes pre planned for a good walk

When I mentioned that Luca likes to look out windows during the day, they made efforts to ensure that he could do just that at their house :) Another thing I appreciated was how much info they asked upfront in our meet and greet in order to meet all of Luca’s needs and understand the manners/rules he follows when he’s at home (e.g. no table food, sitting & waiting before taking his food). This was very considerate and showed a lot of respect for Luca’s norms :) Luca got lots of love, lots of walks, and lots of space to roam during his stay! We would bring Luca back to stay with them in a heartbeat! We double and triple checked Alora wasnt going to need a vet visit, and Kirsten kindly accommodated a slightly later dropoff & some fasting + bland food requests the next day from the vet. That's thankfully as complicated as it got and Alora's stay was uneventful, but Kirsten kept this pet parent happy that Alora was in good hands and I was across the country for a few days 🙂 can't thank her enough.”
