About: As a 4th‑year Informatics student at the University of Washington, I’m naturally detail‑oriented and dependable — but my real foundation in pet care comes from growing up with 20+ breeds and species of animals. I’ve spent my whole life learning how different personalities communicate, what helps them feel safe, and how to build trust at their pace. I currently live with three cats, so I’m especially tuned in to the little things: body‑language shifts, routine preferences, and comfort cues. Whether I’m caring for a cat or a dog, I focus on creating a calm, predictable day — fresh food and water, clean spaces, gentle enrichment, and companionship that matches their energy. Every pet I care for gets the same patience, warmth, and respect I give my own. I’m a part‑time UW student and part‑time worker, so my schedule is steady and predictable. I build pet care into my daily routine — morning and evening check‑ins, fresh food and water, clean litter boxes, walks or playtime, and calm companionship. Weekly, I make sure pets get extra enrichment, light grooming, and a tidy, comfortable space. No matter how full my week is, your pet’s routine stays consistent and cared for. I share my apartment with three cats, so the environment here is naturally calm, pet‑friendly, and set up with animals in mind. There are plenty of cozy resting spots, clean spaces, and enrichment areas that keep pets comfortable and stimulated. Living with multiple cats has taught me how to maintain a peaceful, well‑managed home where routines stay consistent and every pet has room to feel safe and relaxed. Whether I’m caring for your cat or your dog, they’ll be in a space that’s warm, tidy, and designed with animals’ comfort in mind.
“My 2 year old Springer Spaniel Boxer mix, Edie, had a wonderful time with Jana and her family! When I normally leave Edie at her doggy daycare to travel, she barely eats and seems anxious when I come to pick her up. Not the case this time! Edie ate all the food I had packed for her along with all the treats! She loved running around and puppy style wrestling with Hazel! Jana gave me updates twice a day with pictures and videos of the ladies playing. I truly do believe that Edie had a dog vacay with Hazel and Jana!”

About: I’ve owned 3 dogs in my adult life and love them all like my children, friends always call me to babysit. Weekly baths, treats, and definitely adventures! I’m currently working remote part time with flexible hours so I have a lot of free time for pup play! I travel all over the city to explore the parks with my Dalmatian so I will definitely be doing the same with other pups! I have one male Dalmatian (loves friends) and our apartment is pup proofed for safety! We do let pup on the furniture but no playtime on the furniture, only lay. We stick to feeding schedules, twice daily. I currently work from home so I have all the time to play with the puppies! And if I’m not watching multiple we will definitely be going to the park! I’ve proofed my apartment for safety and I’m a minimalist so I don’t keep anything laying around that they could get to! All dog food is away as well.

About: I grew up with pets, from large to small. My sibling and friends always rely on me fostering their dogs and cats. I work from home and won’t leave your pets alone. My husband and I work full time from home, so your pets will always be attended to. They will pretty much hang out with us while we go about our day. My husband starts walking all of the dogs at around 8am. I will open my fenced yard at midday for a midday pee break. My husband will come back at around 6:30pm to give all of the dogs another walk. We usually feed the dogs their morning and evening meals after they come back from their walks. We will open the yard again before bed for a late night pee break.

Pet care is a meaningful part of my weekly routine, and I make it a priority to ensure your pets get the attention and consistency they need. I work Monday through Thursday from 9–5, but I offer flexible availability outside of those hours—including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Whether your pet needs a quick check-in, playtime, or overnight care, I’m happy to tailor my schedule to fit your needs. I also work with families, which provides extra support and ensures your pet always has someone dependable around when needed. “We are from out of town and were traveling with our mini golden doodle. Abbigail watched our Bella so we could go to the Mariners baseball game. Her location was very convenient for drop off / pick up before and after the game and she made it so easy by meeting us outside her apartment. She was super sweet and sent me lots of photos during the 5 hours she had Bella. We are in need of a dog sitter in the Seattle area and will definitely use Abbigail the next time we are in town with Bella.”

About: I may be new to Rover, but I’m far from new to caring for dogs. I’ve spent years looking after my own pup and pet sitting for friends and family, all out of a genuine love for animals. For me, this isn’t a side hustle; it’s something I truly enjoy. I have a Shih Tzu of my own named Cooper, who is my whole world. When it comes to walks, I’m a firm believer in dog-centered outings. Want to sprint? Let’s go. Need five minutes to thoroughly investigate that one bush? Take your time. We move at your dog’s pace, in your dog’s direction, because that’s what makes a walk genuinely enriching, not just exercise. Your pet will get plenty of love, attention, and cuddles. I’ll treat them exactly like I treat Cooper, like family. You can expect regular photo updates if I’m watching your pup, I know firsthand how hard it is to be away from your baby and how it can put a damper on your trip thinking about them missing you. I work from home full-time, which means your pet gets attention throughout the entire day, not just before and after a 9-to-5. No long stretches alone, no waiting until evening for a walk. I’m based in Lower Queen Anne and live in a cozy apartment with my boyfriend and our Shih Tzu Cooper. No children, no yard, but don’t let that last part worry you. Cooper and I do at least one 2.5-mile walk every day, and if I’m watching your dog, they can expect the same. Queen Anne has wonderful walkable streets and green spaces, so there’s plenty to explore.

“Pablo and Patricia were amazing! They were able to watch Bear on very short notice, were super kind and communicative, and took great care of him. I really appreciate them helping out last minute. Thank you both!”

“Lizzy helped us out when we were in a bind last week, and she provided daycare three days in a row for our 15-week-old puppy. Maya is naturally high in anxiety and doesn't take well to strangers, but she warmed up to Lizzy instantly and seemed to come home in high spirits every night. We will absolutely be using Lizzy for all of our puppy-related needs (doggy daycare, boarding for weekend trips, etc.) - she has been so accommodating, communicative, and flexible with scheduling, and we're so glad we met her through Rover!”

Adventure-ready dog walkers - Belltown

About: I've been caring for dogs for nearly 20 years. Growing up with three family dogs taught me how to care for pets through every stage of life. From daily walks and playtime to swimming, feeding, and plenty of affection. I also grew up in a neighborhood full of dogs and regularly walked, checked in on, and cared for neighbors' pets while their families were away. Friends and family have continued to trust me with their pets over the years, and for four years I lived with my roommate's dog, helping with daily care and treating him like he was my own. I'm comfortable following routines, adapting to different personalities and energy levels, and making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. As a freelance photographer, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I'm typically available Monday through Friday between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. for walks and drop-in visits, and I'm often able to accommodate weekend requests as well. Whether your dog is ready for a long walk or your cat just needs some company and care while you're away, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. You can also expect thoughtful updates and plenty of photos during each visit. I know how reassuring it is to see your pet happy while you're away! I understand that inviting someone into your home requires trust, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. I'll always respect your space, follow your pet's routine as closely as possible, and care for your home with the same attention and respect I would my own. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible for both you and your pet. Whether that means sticking to feeding schedules, refreshing water, cleaning up after walks, scooping the litter box, or simply spending quality time with your pet, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

About: I’ve cared for animals most of my life. I grew up with a dog who is now 18 years old, so I’m very familiar with the patience and consistency required to care for pets through every stage of life, including senior care. A few years ago an orange stray cat showed up at my door and decided to stay. Since then I’ve become very much a cat person as well. Caring for her taught me a lot about earning an animal’s trust and working with different personalities, especially with independent or cautious cats. I also enjoy interacting with pets beyond basic care. I’ve trained my cat to do several tricks and she even uses communication buttons, which has been a fun way to engage her mentally and build a strong bond. Overall, I’m attentive, patient, and very observant of animal behavior. I try to understand each pet’s personality and routine so they feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. I work in tech and have a relatively flexible schedule, which allows me to plan pet visits throughout the day. Because my work is not strictly tied to a fixed schedule, I’m usually able to accommodate morning, midday, or evening visits depending on what a pet needs. I’m generally available on weekdays and weekends for drop-ins or walks, and I try to keep my schedule manageable so I can give each pet proper attention rather than rushing between visits. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible so they feel safe and relaxed in their familiar environment. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, walks, and any specific habits your pet has. I pay close attention to pets’ behavior and body language so I can respond appropriately, especially with shy or anxious animals. I also make sure doors, gates, and food storage are secure and that the home is left clean and tidy after each visit. I provide regular updates and photos so owners know their pets are doing well. My goal is to make sure pets are comfortable, well cared for, and stress-free while their owners are away.
“Emily has walked our dog several times over the past month or so and has been so good with him. He is a little nervous around strangers, and she is kind and patient and he has grown to be comfortable around her. I also appreciate her communication, promptness, and friendliness.”

About: Hi, I’m Jessica! I have grown up with all sorts of animals: dogs, cats, rabbits, fish and cows. Currently, I am an Aunt to one energetic golden retriever and 2 cats. Over the past 5 years I have watched dogs and cats in the city for friends and co workers and would love to watch your fur baby too! I have experience with caring for dogs with anxiety and elderly pets. I am a pretty active person who loves hiking and checking out new places in the city. I work full time from home. Usually my work hours are set in CST so I start early and end early afternoon, leaving a very flexible schedule with lots of time and energy to spend with your pets! I am very easy to communicate with and love spending time outside. I am easy to work with whether it’s for a quick check in, walks while you are away or reliable boarding. I live in an apartment but there are fenced in pet areas on the property. I also own a vehicle to take pets to the park, drop off/pick up or sitting at your home. I have worked in hospitality for over 15+ years. I know exceptional care is all about trust, attention to detail, and personalized service. I’ll treat your beloved pets with the same level of care and dedication we provide to guests at our five star properties.

Whether your dog needs playtime, cuddle time, or simply a calm and loving presence while you’re away, we are here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved every step of the way. As a retired pet lover, David has the time and flexibility to give your pet the care, attention, and companionship they deserve. He will treat your pet like family, so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing they are in loving and reliable hands. When caring for pets in a client’s home, We prioritize safety, comfort, and consistency in their daily routine. We make sure pets have fresh food and water, plenty of exercise, and a clean, cozy environment. We follow any special instructions regarding diet, medications, or behavior needs to ensure each pet’s health and well-being. In addition, We provide companionship through playtime, walks, and affection, so pets feel loved and secure while their owners are away. About: I’ve always been an animal lover and grew up around dogs of all sizes. I helped care for and train my parents 2 dogs and I have experience assisting with taking care of previous roommates dogs. I currently pet sit for friends and family when they are out of town. I’m free mornings and afternoons on weekdays (can be available in the evenings if needed) and have flexible availability on weekends for pet care. I can care for your pet in your home by taking them out for bathroom breaks, taking them out of walks, playing with toys, feeding them on schedule, administering any medications, and offering lots of pets!

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. Over the past three years, I've helped raise and care for three family dogs, including puppies, and I've regularly looked after dogs for family members and friends. Those experiences have taught me how to care for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. Whether a dog enjoys long walks, lots of playtime, or simply taking things at a slower pace, I'm patient, dependable, and happy to adapt to what makes them most comfortable. While I'm new to Rover, I'm committed to providing every dog with the same care, attention, and respect I'd give my own. I currently work part-time, so I have the most availability Monday through Thursday, occasionally Fridays and can accommodate morning, afternoon, and many evening walks. I keep my Rover calendar up to date and appreciate booking in advance whenever possible. Once your walk is scheduled, you can count on me to arrive on time, communicate clearly, and give your dog the exercise, attention, and care they deserve. If my availability ever changes, I'll let you know as soon as possible. I treat every dog as if they were my own because I understand the trust that comes with caring for someone's pet. Safety is always my top priority, and I carefully follow each owner's instructions and routine. I'm patient with shy dogs, energetic with playful dogs, and always adapt to each dog's personality and comfort level. I'll communicate throughout the visit with updates and photos so you can feel confident your dog is happy, safe, and well cared for.
“Ana really saved us with a last minute booking! She did an incredible job with our chaotic golden retriever puppy and was a true expert with her. She sent the most thoughtful pictures while I was at work and was so communicative. We'll absolutely be booking with her again- thank you so much Ana!”

“Shaina went above and beyond on her walk with Maxi. She took him to a nearby park and he looks like he had so much fun!! Very thankful also for her accommodation to my last minute bookings :)”

“Ponyo was so caring! She kept me apprised of her arrival, throughout the visit, and end times. She followed all of the instructions from our meet & greet, gave meds and put the thundershirt on my dog. My dog was not easy for Ponyo’s first visit because there was a pending storm and thunder. I got home several hours after this passed and the dog was doing fine by then. Thank you Ponyo!”

“We have a fear aggressive dog toward strangers so we were nervous about introducing him to someone on Rover. Juliette agreed to help us introduce slow and do a few casual meet ups at first. She was sooo flexible and willing to do whatever our dog was comfortable with! Her calm demeanor really helped! After a few meet ups, our dog let someone in his house and take him on a talk for the first time in YEARS. Juliette was so patient with him and worked hard to make him feel comfortable with giving his space and treats. She definitely has experience with reactive dogs. She is so sweet to him and has done an amazing job and we are so grateful for her!”

“Akiko helped us out for a week with doggy daycare for our puppy Zoe. She was super communicative, sent lots of great photo and video updates, and did a great job making sure Zoe had an adventure-filled day around the neighborhood! We would highly recommend her to anyone.”
“We were so appreciative that Alison was able to help us on short notice while our regular dog walking crew was out of office! She was kind and responsive and a great fit for our puppy Leo.”

“Heather did an excellent dog with our nervous, reactive dog. She knew just how to handle him as soon as she met him, and I could see her building trust with him. She gave us some great tips on how to help improve his behavior. She was friendly, professional, and responsive, and I look forward to working with her again. I know our little guy is in good hands!”

About: Growing up, I was surrounded by cats, birds, and other animals, which gave me a deep love and understanding of pets of all kinds. I’m naturally drawn to animals, they sense it too, and tend to feel comfortable and relaxed around me quickly. I love being outdoors and go on walks regularly, so your dog will get plenty of fresh air and exercise. Since I can’t have my own pet right now, caring for yours is genuinely something I look forward to your animal won’t just be watched, they’ll be loved. I’m attentive, calm, and reliable, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know your pet is happy and safe. I’m currently on a flexible schedule with plenty of free time, which means your pet gets my full attention throughout the day. I enjoy going on walks regularly, so dogs in my care will get outdoor time and exercise daily. I live in a cozy apartment in downtown Seattle where your pet will feel safe and comfortable. I’m calm and attentive by nature, which helps animals settle in quickly. I keep my space clean and pet-friendly, and I’ll always communicate with you — sending photos and updates so you feel connected to your pet even when you’re away. Your pet’s comfort and safety is my top priority.
About: I have spent my whole life caring for animals! My family at one point owned a small independent pet store, where we adopted out rescues: dogs, cats, birds, and fish. I was raised with rabbits and guinea pigs as well, and I'm very knowledgeable about rabbits in particular. I love cats and I know how to handle many special care needs they may have. I have several times gone through the process of caring for a pet in end of life and can handle seniors very well. I also have two immediate family members who ate veterinary technicians and one close relative who is a veterinarian specializing in small animals, all of whom I am available to contact should any problems arise. I promise to treat your animal family exactly as I treat my own--with gentle care, affection, and attention. I am currently between positions and am able to handle any routines. I will be moving to part time work in the future, at which point I will communicate any schedule changes. I am very willing to go on long walks with dogs and to clean up after them. If you are out of town for an extended period I can come do walks as well as get some good social time in for dogs. I am also very willing to come spend time with your cats (even if they just want to be in the same room), as I know my own cats get lonely if they don't see people enough while I am out of town.
“Melissa took great care of Ricky, who can be a challenge to walk. She thought ahead to bring extra potty bags, was right on time, and walked him extra long. Thanks!”

About: I have been around animals since I was in diapers, and pet sitting since I can remember. First for family, then for friends. I have experiences with large dogs (my aunt has two mastiffs), smaller dogs, cats of all shapes and sizes, and even the occasional reptile. I enjoy the playtime and companionship just as much as my furry friends. I am working full-time, transitioning to a lighter work load in the next few months. That being said, I usually have flexibility during the day for a mid-day walk and I always have time in the early morning and early evening. I also spend a lot of time in the city so I can usually be booked during weekends as well. I do not have any pets so I have a perfect home to give your pet undivided attention. No yard but I live a block from Central Park so lots of fun awaits us just around the corner.

“Carolyn was a fabulous sitter! My dog had the absolute best time going to the dog park daily, hanging out with her dog, and getting lots of love cuddling on the couch. She sent lots of fun pictures and videos the whole time, so we felt super confident and at ease knowing our dog was in great hands. Definitely the best Rover experience I've had :)”

“Emily has watched Phil twice now and she has been so good with him. he gets so exited to leave with her, not even giving us a look back. which makes us feel comforted, knowing he’s in a space he enjoys. thanks for loving on him!”

“Catherine was fantastic! She asked a lot of questions to make sure she had all the info she needed and even walked with me and Molly around the block as a meet and greet before. Molly had a fantastic time at the Seattle center and being out and about!”

“Marden took great care of our dog and was very flexible with drop off and pickup times. He sent us photos and updates and made sure our dog was comfortable and happy during her stay. Will definitely be boarding with him again!”

“Isabella and Gui were the best hosts! Bobo truly had his own vacation in form of dog parks and couch snuggles. Your pup would be lucky to be cared by them!”

About: I called my dog my sister until I was 11. She and I did everything together! A bond that was truly one of the greatest is loving an animal! I currently work full time but I am available in the mornings and evening times for 2 meals a day if needed and long walks in the morning and night!! I have a fenced yard a 3000 square foot house with no other animals! I don’t have too much furniture in my house currently! I do have a deck that’s covered as well!
“Thank you for taking excellent care of Plum!! It was a big help knowing she was in great hands with people who care about her. She’s looking forward to returning! Thank you!”

“Rand took incredible care of our dog! He’s a big, energetic chocolate lab and Rand kept him safe, fed, and so happy! We will absolutely be coming back to her as long as she’s available!”

“Kandice was an incredible care giver for my sweet Sidney. She sent lots of pictures and videos of him having the time of his life running around with his new friends. She treated him like he was another family member. Could not have asked for a better experience for my first night away from my baby. Will definitely be back!”

“Philip was so good with our first doggy (1 yr old puppy) and his care was excellent with our second (3yr old choc lab). Steve had lovely park walks, mental stimulation and came back very happy doggie. Highly recommend!”

“At the risk of never being able to book her again because she is so popular, Ponyo is the best dog sitter on this site! She is like a dog whisperer, she will text me and tell me 'Aspen or Stella is trying to tell me something I know it they are doing this or that, do you know what they want?' She is always right, I don't expect the sitter to do everything I do for my pets (just happy when they're taken good care of) but my dogs still have expectations lol so they are wanting their usual mid afternoon treat or something crazy. Once she even went to the store because I forgot to pack one of these snacks. My most recent visit was for my daughter's wedding and I was still in town but was going too be busy for my dog's needs so I booked Ponyo well in advance. Coming up to the date my older dog got cancer on her arm and it was not pretty! I asked her if she would still be comfortable watching her, knowing it wasn't necessary but preferred, she said she was really okay with it. Well in that week it grew to an even uglier mess and bless her heart, she took care of her like she was her own pup. After my Aspen had her arm amputated, Ponyo came to my house with a little get well gift and to visit her, even bringing her children which was special treat for Aspen. You just don't get more love from a sitter than this!! I cannot recommend Ponyo enough, 100 stars!!”

About: I've spent years caring for all kinds of animals—from dogs and cats to reptiles and small mammals—and have fostered both short- and long-term pets, helping every one of them find a loving forever home. Since I work from home, your pup will rarely be alone. We enjoy walks along the water, lots of playtime, and indoor adventures in our building's dog-friendly play area. My sidekick is Georgia, my English Bulldog, who has never met a dog she didn't love. She's playful, cuddly, and always happy to make new friends. My goal is simple: keep your dog safe, active, loved, and spoiled with attention while you're away—so you can relax knowing they're having a vacation too!

“Cheryl was great with my dog Bean! She scheduled a meet up to talk through everything about him and meet him. She also gave great updates every day on how he was doing. He seemed very comfy with her and we would love to have her watch him again!”
