Piper has cerebellar hypoplasia (the wobbly disease) and has trouble with fine motor skills. Maria had no issue altering her care to suit Piper's limitations. She even took Piper out to a cafe in a stroller for enrichment since she physically can't walk far on her own! I’ve done a good amount of pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors through the years, and having also had to travel for work much of my adult life, appreciate being the pet parent entrusting my fur babies to someone else. About: I am a loving and active dog dad who has owned boxers and brachycephalic dog breeds since I was a young man. We have a frenchie and a smallish boxer in home for your dog to play with. My wife live on Queen Anne and have a small backyard for dogs to play in. We also live close to multiple dog parks that we play at regularly. I am experienced with caring for dogs with health issues/restrictions. Our home is welcoming for dogs and we have an amazing neighborhood for short or long walks. Our 2 dogs are playful and well socialized. My wife works from home half of the work week and would be around to make sure your pups have double the cuddle and play time. I do not leave dogs unsupervised at home alone with the exception of a quick grocery store trip. I want to make sure you feel comfortable with leaving your pups in a safe and loving environment. I am a stay at home dog dad who has availability for a limited number of dogs per day. I focus on making sure the dogs have ample playtime during the day and lots of one on one snuggles if they stay overnight. We go for multiple walks per day and try to get at least one. run to the dog park so that the dogs can burn energy. Our boxer loves to play ball, and is especially friendly when playing ball with a group. I have a frenchie and a small boxer at home who are well socialized and super playful. I have a back yard play area that we can play ball in, run zoomies, or lay in sunbeams. We have a wonderful neighborhood for walking with a number of cool sites to stop and have a sniff. There is a treat dispenser at a house (like a mailbox) along our most often walked routed. We also have a number of dog parks within 10 minutes drive. I have a new quad cab Tacoma and a cx5 for hauling pups in.

We understand cat behavior, like when they're ready for pets and attention, and when they want to be left alone. Like humans, they need fresh water every day and want a clean bathroom (litter box) just like us. We have been volunteering with a variety of rescue groups for several years including Seattle Animal Shelter, Seattle Persian and Himalayan Rescue Group, The Whole Cat and Kaboodle, and many more. Parents have been Magnolia home owners for over 26 years; UDUB alum and a technology professional who works remotely, usually with my own cat on my lap. I'm sure you've heard the Rover horror stories of sitters backing out last minute with no recourse. You can rest assured a guaranteed booking with us. We can provide afternoon or evening feeding. We are not comfortable administering pills or needle injections. Daily litterbox cleaning and lots of pets and snuggles throughout the day. PET SAFETY: Using caution when entering the home is important to ensure cat(s) don't escape. We also ensure bedroom doors don't accidentally close that might block the cats' access to food or litter box. Happy to bring in mail and packages, too. HOME SECURITY: Packages, newspapers, and door flyers will be brought inside if we see them on your porch when we arrive. We always verify the door is securely locked after we exit.

“Michael was an amazing sitter for my dog and communicator for me!! We had a last minute schedule change and were traveling to Seattle unexpectedly. Michael was so helpful and accommodating to make this work with less notice than usual! He was prompt and communicative sending me pictures of Sox updates along the way. His dog Ellie was very chill and seemed to get along with Sox great. I definitely would (and will!) work with Michael again!”

“Ellie was a fantastic host to our husky Pepper. She is extremely attentive and made sure that Pepper got enough daily exercise and also plenty of snuggles during their downtime. We love that Pepper gets along so well with Ellie’s sweet dog Bear. Overall our dog had a great time and would absolutely book with Ellie in the future. Highly recommend!”
“Samantha was absolutely wonderful taking care of Teddy. Teddy had lots of fun playing with Samantha, meeting her friends and taking very long walks with her! Samantha was so patient with Teddy when he was first nervous. She sent me consistent updates on Teddy & each time, it looked like he was having a blast. In fact, after she took care of Teddy, Teddy & I ran into her on a walk and he was soooo excited to see her again. Definitely recommend Samantha - she was kind, responsive, and made Teddy feel right at home in her place.”

Being local to where we live was a huge plus, and she was reliable, communicative, and took good care of him. Archer seemed comfortable and well cared for, and we really appreciated the updates. “Davis was fantastic with our dog, a 75 lb mixed breed. She is very anxious when we leave her with a sitter. She’s also sometimes stand offish with men she doesn’t know, but she liked Davis immediately when we met him in a meet and greet before our trip. Davis’ calm, confident way with dogs put us at ease, and we felt comfortable leaving our pup with him for a full week. A few days before our trip, our dog got a dog bite that got infected, so we had to leave her with new medications and care instructions. Davis handled everything with no stress, made sure she got her medication, and took great care of her while she healed. We came home to a happy, healthy dog and would absolutely hire Davis again and recommend to others.”
“Peter was the best dog sitter I could have found for my pup. Luke is 14 yo, so leaving him with someone isn’t always easy. Peter made the whole process incredibly smooth and friendly, and he made Luke feel right at home. He even took him on little adventures with Nova, while being very mindful of Luke’s needs and limits. Not only did he make Luke feel like part of his pack, but he also gave me great peace of mind with daily updates and photos where I could clearly see that Luke (even though he probably missed me) couldn’t have been in better hands. I’m especially grateful to Peter because when my return travel plans got complicated and the schedule didn’t quite line up, he was extremely flexible and helped me so much, making sure Luke got home safe and sound. Without a doubt, he will be my go-to person to take care of Luke the next time I have to travel.”
“Babu stayed with Jennifer and Ken for the second time. What’s best about them is that they are both passionate about dog care and equally experienced with dogs. This gives me a great peace of mind. They shared a ton of pics and videos of Babu playing and then dozing off exhausted from the fun. I am grateful he got that attention, time and care from them and they went above and beyond to make sure he was taken care of just as their own dog, who Babu gets along with super well. I am super comfortable with them. Will book again for sure.”
