“Devan was awesome! Great communication and a natural at connecting with dogs and keeping them engaged. Benji did not want to leave! We hope to see Devan again!”

About: I got my first pup when I turned 11 and have cared for them ever since, going on 14 years of owning a pet. Both dogs and cats! I enjoy interacting with pets and making them feel special on walkies or just hanging out with them. I currently run a small business so I am able to set my own hours and attend to other things such as walking or caring for your pet. I have a fenced in yard and three fur children in my household. Two dogs and a cat. I can also crate if needed for your pet.
“Felix is very organized and thorough. He's very thoughtful, knowledgeable and observant, I trust his conclusions on regarding how the dogs behaved. He's also very good about communicating.”

“I've recently relocated to Seattle for work, and while waiting for my residence to become available, I needed assistance with watching my dog, Fat Boi, during business hours. I connected with Keith, and he's been such a great help! Fat Boi is shy and very attached to me, he's prone to getting a little depressed when we aren't together, but Keith helps to enrich his days and gives him some extra socialization. Fat Boi gets to people watch out from the balcony, and go on walks to see the water, and enjoys some great snacks while hanging out with Keith! I'm grateful that he's been there to look after Fat Boi and give him attention while I'm at work. I'm a long way from home, and so is Fat Boi, and it's one less source of stress in this huge transition to have the peace of mind that my little fuzzy guy is being thoughtfully taken care of until we are reunited at the end of the day.”

“Pablo and Patricia were amazing! They were able to watch Bear on very short notice, were super kind and communicative, and took great care of him. I really appreciate them helping out last minute. Thank you both!”

“Jessica was a wonderful sitter for our pup! Her communication was great throughout the whole process, and she was incredibly kind and patient with our anxious pup. She sent many great photos too! She was also super flexible and accommodating when we needed to do a late pick up time. I fully trusted her to take care of our dog and will definitely reach out to her again!”

“Copper loved his stay with Jill and Jacob! Jill and Jacob were able to accommodate my last minute request to watch copper for the day. They provided videos and picture updates the entire time he was at their house. Being a van dog, copper appreciated the luxury and AC on an especially hot day for Seattle. Thank you!”

“Mariel and Matt are so kind and gave our doogins Wally such a great evening of daycare. Great meet and greet with them where they asked all the good questions about Wally and his routine. They sent us pictures from the evenings adventures where Wally looked so happy. Would gladly have Wally stay with them again!”

About: Dogs are family here—always have been. I live right across from a 9-acre park and spend about two hours there every day with my own dog, rain or shine (for the past 11 years). If your dog loves being outside, they’ll get real exercise—not just a quick walk around the block. At home, dogs are treated like they should be—on the couch, on the bed, wherever they’re comfortable. Lots of attention, affection, and a calm, consistent environment. I’ve spent a lifetime around dogs of all ages and temperaments and have a very natural read on their behavior—call it instinct, call it being an animal person, but it matters. I’m also experienced administering medications—oral, injections, ear treatments—we’ve done it all over the years. If your dog wants to run, relax, or just be around someone who genuinely gets them, they’ll fit right in here. Pet care is already built into my daily routine—it’s what my days revolve around. I’m out at the park for a couple of hours every day with my own dog, rain or shine, so adding another dog to that rhythm is seamless. My schedule is wide open and flexible, which means I’m available full-time for walks, drop-ins, daycare, or boarding—at your home, my home, or out at the park. I’m not trying to fit this in around another job—this is my focus, so your dog gets consistent time, attention, and care. My dog would love the company if yours enjoys being social, but if your dog is more of a lone wolf, that’s completely fine too—I’m happy to tailor the environment to whatever makes them most comfortable. I keep things simple, consistent, and centered around what each dog needs. In my home, dogs are treated like part of the family—free to relax on the couch or bed, with plenty of attention and a calm, comfortable environment. We stick to their usual routines as much as possible (feeding, walks, meds), and they get daily outdoor time with real exercise and fresh air. I live right across from a large park, but park choice is always flexible—if your dog has a favorite spot, I’m happy to take them there. My dog is friendly and enjoys company, but I can also create a quieter, separate environment if your dog prefers to do their own thing. In a client’s home, I follow your routine as closely as possible so your dog feels secure in their own space. That includes feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (oral, injections, ear treatments), and any specific instructions you have. Walk locations are always tailored to your dog’s preferences and comfort. Whether it’s a walk, a stay, or a drop-in, the goal is always the same: your dog gets real attention, real exercise, and doesn’t feel alone.
“Yoly took good care of Bono for a whole day at her place. Bono is a bit skittish and looks unfriendly at first sight, but Yoly was patient enough to wait until Bono calmed down and settled in to her place. She was also super quick to reply to any of my questions or asks, and sent 6 photos of Bono which really helped with my separation anxiety from Bono ? I wish I could have Bono sat next time we travel to this lovely city!”

About: 25+ years caring for dogs of every breed and size, plus extensive experience with cats. I’ve helped deliver litters, given medications, and maintained spotless litter boxes. Cats trust me deeply — they often bring their kittens to my bed. I always take time to learn your pet’s routine, needs, and personality beforehand. I walk my own dogs three times daily and have a very flexible schedule, allowing me to provide consistent, loving care tailored to each animal. My schedule is very flexible for pet sitting. I drop my daughter off at school by 8:30–9:00 AM and pick her up at 3:25 PM. The rest of the day I work online only 2–3 hours, so I’m happily available for morning, midday, and afternoon dog walks, drop-ins, or house sitting. “Zoe’s great! Our young pup enjoyed playing with Zoe’s dog, long walks, frequent potty breaks, cuddles and naps. We loved the videos/updates and mapped walks. Drop off and pick up was quick and easy too. We’ll definitely bring Piper back when our schedules get hectic again.”

“Travers is awesome! Bandit always loves going to Travers house for daycare. He always comes back tired and happy from playing all day. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for someone reliable to watch your pup.”

“Emily was wonderful and took great care of Cooper and took him for an hour long walk and kept me updated with pictures and messages so that I could be sure things were going smoothly! I would highly recommend her.”

About: I simply love dogs! With over 15 years of dog sitting experience, over 8 years of having my own dogs, multiple years of animal rescue experience, I will treat your dogs like they are my own. I’m passionate about older dogs and my two dogs Willie and Lucy love having dog friends around. My goal is to dog sit at my place. I’m able to walk, feed, play, medicate, and give lots of snuggles. My schedule is very flexible! Please let me know if you need any help scheduling. I prefer to do a meet and greet before and usually host it at my place. Let me know if that works for you! I have two lovable and friendly dogs that would love another pal to sit by the front window with. We have a big couch, lots of dog beds, toys, and treats!

“I kind of don't want to spread the word about Jeffrey because he was so good I would like to keep him as a best kept secret. I needed a last minute dog sitter for our King Charles Cavalier puppy. Jeffrey jumped right in and provided day time daycare over three days. Our pup was thrilled to see him each morning and came home happy and chilled out. Jeffrey is professional and kind and obviously has a wonderful way with dogs. I could not have been more pleased and hope to use Jeffrey again! Huge thanks to Jeffrey for taking on a brand new puppy while managing your work day! We appreciate you!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Interbay
I needed care two days in a row and decided to give Rover a try for the first time as a client. I had a good feeling about Devan from his profile. My comfort and trust with having him care for my 14 year old dog, and most important companion, continued after we met. I was so grateful and glad we found him! Such a relief! Devan has a calm presence and is pleasant to be around, so it wasn't a surprise that my dog was so calm and content when I picked him up both days. I could tell it was important to Devan to clearly understand my, and my dog's, preferences, and do all that he could do to help keep my dog safe, happy, and healthy while in his care. Devan's home is centered around being a dog-friendly, dog-safe environment, and precautions are taken to prevent issues. I appreciate his proactive, thoughtful approach. Fun is also a part of Devan's agenda and my dog had a lot of it! He slept deeply both nights and all day the following day after being in Devan's care. He obviously had a good time with plenty of mental stimulation! Along with playful interactions and adventures, my dog was given his space for rest, sleep, and chill time, and taken on frequent potty breaks and walks as needed. The first day unfolded differently than planned and I had to make some last minute changes. Devan was very understanding, accommodating, and went above and beyond to help and support us. I was and am very grateful for how easily everything flowed. I would definitely recommend Devan, especially if you're super selective about your dog's care, like I am. Thank you, Devan! From both of us. :)

Jessica was a wonderful sitter for our pup! Her communication was great throughout the whole process, and she was incredibly kind and patient with our anxious pup. She sent many great photos too! She was also super flexible and accommodating when we needed to do a late pick up time. I fully trusted her to take care of our dog and will definitely reach out to her again!

Such a great first visit. Thank you for warmly and easefully welcoming Ernest over! He seemed to have throughly enjoyed himself, and the fact that I reached out to you for day care the day before and you said yes meant that I enjoyed myself with the things I needed to do while knowing Ernest was in good hands for the day.

Bei was wonderful with our Maltipoo, Bauer. Bauer can be uneasy and anxious around strangers at first, and Bei was incredibly patient with him and gave him the time and space he needed to warm up. By the end of his three-hour stay, Bauer was much more comfortable. We really appreciated Bei’s patience and care, and we’ll definitely rely on Bei again for Bauer’s future daycare needs!

Ravi was super responsive, and it seemed like Duke had a great time with him! He seemed very content when coming home and that signals to me that he felt was able to chill in a brand new space. I Appreciated the updates, and Ravi’s willingness to work my anxious lil guy. Looking forward to more bookings, thanks so much!
