Our dog is on a low-fat diet for medical reasons and she conscientiously gave her the treats we brought. She sends several videos during the day so you can see your baby. There were a couple other dogs in care at the same time and she did an excellent job of introducing and monitoring the dogs. Overall a wonderful experience! We don’t live in Tucson but if we ever return for a visit we would definitely use her again and we highly recommend her to others ❤️”

About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

About: Hi! I've had my cat Olive for 11 years and my dog Bel for 3 years. I have also taken care of close to 70 foster animals mostly kittens, with a few medical fosters, and behavioral issues along the way. I have taken courses on behavioral training for dogs as my own dog is reactive towards dogs, so I am very familiar with dog reactivity. I currently run a small 1 man business from my home and have control over my schedule to provide care to other animals regularly. I also foster other animals from time to time. My own dog is reactive and high energy and needs 3 walks a day usually with a lot of play. My cat is a large maincoon that requires a strict diet and care regimen to keep her pre-diabetes in check.

I used to raise puppies and train them how to sit and have manners for about two years with my parent. I have dog sitting experience and house sitting experience. Class schedule: Mon 1pm-2pm Tue 9:30am-1pm then 3pm-5pm Wed 9am-2pm then 4pm-5pm Thur 9:30am-4pm Fri 1pm-2pm I do also have a job at the animal shelter for part time. That work schedule will vary but will be no more the 4-6 hours a day. Likely to be on the weekends to avoid conflict with school :) For my personal home, I will not be able to board any pets. Although I am very safe and responsible. My person pet uses a crate just for her safety when I am gone. I am good with crate training as needed for your pets as well. I make sure I clean up after every day and leave the house as clean as I can before you arrive back home to your happy animals!

My goals are: - Create a good connection with the pet(s) - Be a well-rounded caretaker (watch for signs of stress, implement a disciplined reward system, positive affection etc.) - Keep open communication I love taking pictures of animals, so you can expect updates and fun photos from home while you're away! In my free time I am active with activities such as swimming, rollerblading, hiking, biking, dogwalking :) and I enjoy nature. I spend most nights in. I like to stay home reading, studying, or working on a project. I am adaptable and respectful in other people's space. I have numerous (5+) return clients whose houses I've stayed at. I have found clients through 'word-of-mouth' and now I am trying Rover. I'm always thankful when I get to stay at someone's home to keep their fur family in good company.

About: I have fostered 8 dogs (so far!) and helped them find homes. Caring for dogs of different ages, temperaments and needs has taught me so much. I have experience with both dogs and cats (and birds and fish!). I work as a substitute teacher, giving me flexibility to take pet-sitting jobs on short notice. I am also available for overnight pet-sitting and longer house-sitting bookings. As a dog foster, I have learned to be exceptionally careful with new dogs. Respecting their space, while being friendly and encouraging. Taking extra precautions when leaving the house or letting them out into the yard. I understand that change and new people can be stressful to a dog and am careful to avoid additional stressors. I feel immense responsibility for the pets in my care, as well as other pets and people we encounter on walks. I also want the dogs to have fun and relax when we are at home. I really enjoy getting to know new dogs and hope they see me as a new friend ☺️

About: My whole life has been around animals including 2-3 dogs in my household, caring for a guinea pig, and loving on my friends’ cats. We raised several dogs from 6 week old puppies to their senior years. Since moving out on my own I have had the opportunity to dog sit for all ages of pups. I have also always taken a special interest in volunteering at local animal shelters. I would love the chance to look after and love your animal like my own. I recently moved to the area and have time before my program starts. My days are all about learning the area and preparing for classes so my availability is extremely flexible. Would also love to build relationships that can continue once my program starts and I can be a regular part of your pets life. I have reliable transportation and can be available most times of day. Not currently offering in home service but could be flexible for returning clients!
