“I boarded my 20 pound Miniature Schnauzer with Ron for a period of ten days while in Hawaii. My pup is an important part of my family and I want him to feel as if he is also having a vacation while I am away. After carefully researching every available boarding option I decided on Ron. I met Ron for a meet and greet before the actual boarding and his responsible and trustworthy nature was evident. Ron also has a beautifully landscaped and secure back yard. Lastly, Ron's Poodle Lily made an excellent companion to my proportionately sized Miniature Schnauzer. In my opinion, the combination of these qualities make's Ron the best choice for small dog boarding in Tucson. My schnauzer had a joyous time frolicking and cuddling with Ron's poodle while I was away. Ron did a great job of sending photos. The photos showed that my pup was eating, enjoying time on the couch and even cuddled in bed next to Ron's poodle. I received photos throughout my trip (not just the first few days) and these photos convinced me that my pup was having just as much fun as I was. Ron is a primary school teacher which is an occupation that I have much respect for and is illustrative of his good character. Ron also has a love of plants which is evident in his beautiful green yard with lots of shady places for dogs to rest and play. I was also very pleased that Ron has a dog door that my 20 pound schnauzer was able to fit through easily for constant back yard access. Overall, I do not think there is a better choice for small dog boarding in Tucson. My pup actually seemed sad to leave Ron and his poodle Lily. It was a great opportunity for my dog to socialize and play with another well trained dog. My dog came back happy, well exercised and without a trace of anxiety. In conclusion, Ron is a kind, intelligent, and caring animal lover. I would not hesitate to board my much loved miniature schnauzer with him next time I go on vacation. Ron's tranquil home and general attitude make the experience a vacation for your pet.”

Loki sometimes hides when it’s insulin time but Logan found every one of his hiding spots! I have a shelter house on my porch for a couple of feral kitties that come by at night to eat and he put dry and wet food as well as fresh water out every night for them just as I asked! I received an update every time he came by which I appreciated so very much because I tend to worry a lot on vacation about my furkids. About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

About: I have lots of experience with dogs and cats. Throughout my childhood animals were my escape from reality. My dad bred dogs and I always loved them so much it was hard to say goodbye. In high school I took in a stray cat and it kept getting pregnant so I raised like 5 litters of kittens as well. To be honest I like animals more than people your babies are in good hands. I like to walk and get my steps in everyday so it won’t be much different walking with the doggos. I have dog and catsit for close friends and family but never strangers. Excited to do it! I work from home and my job is very flexible. I am my own boss so I can pretty much take breaks whenever I need to take your fur baby on walks or feed them as well as give them lots of attention when needed. About: Hi! I've had my cat Olive for 11 years and my dog Bel for 3 years. I have also taken care of close to 70 foster animals mostly kittens, with a few medical fosters, and behavioral issues along the way. I have taken courses on behavioral training for dogs as my own dog is reactive towards dogs, so I am very familiar with dog reactivity. I currently run a small 1 man business from my home and have control over my schedule to provide care to other animals regularly. I also foster other animals from time to time. My own dog is reactive and high energy and needs 3 walks a day usually with a lot of play. My cat is a large maincoon that requires a strict diet and care regimen to keep her pre-diabetes in check.

About: I have experience taking care of boarding dogs and cats at an animal hospital. I worked for them for a little over a year and have gotten lots of experience with dogs and cats. I used to raise puppies and train them how to sit and have manners for about two years with my parent. I have dog sitting experience and house sitting experience. I am currently going to school at the UofA full time during the weekdays (my class schedule is listed below keep reading) and would be available most days to come and play with the animals for 30 minutes to an hour in the afternoons and overnight sitting. And on weekends I would be free to play with and walk the animals as needed. Class schedule: Mon 1pm-2pm Tue 9:30am-1pm then 3pm-5pm Wed 9am-2pm then 4pm-5pm Thur 9:30am-4pm Fri 1pm-2pm I do also have a job at the animal shelter for part time. That work schedule will vary but will be no more the 4-6 hours a day. Likely to be on the weekends to avoid conflict with school :) For my personal home, I will not be able to board any pets. Although I am very safe and responsible. My person pet uses a crate just for her safety when I am gone. I am good with crate training as needed for your pets as well. I make sure I clean up after every day and leave the house as clean as I can before you arrive back home to your happy animals!

About: I have taken care of pets my whole life. I am the person that always walks other people's dogs since they don't have the time for it. The well-being of pets, even those I don't own, is always something that I pay close attention to. I have taken care of my pregnant dog twice, helping her deliver and tending to newborn puppies. I have also taken care of sick dogs and dogs who recently had surgery, all of which was very demanding. I also rescued a cat from the street which currently lives with me. Right now I am in between jobs so I'm very free, which is why I'm very flexible and taking care of your pets will be my priority. There might be an occasional weekend once a month where I might be busy but that would the only conflicting issue. The rest of the time I will be very flexible and work with your needs. My home is mostly suitable for cats or dogs that live indoors. There's a lot of green areas right outside my home and in the community for a dog to play in but it's not a fenced yard. For a cat, my house has cat trees, litter box, plenty of toys and everything they might need. I do have a cat and a dog if your pet does good with other pets.

About: I have a little one (chiweenie, 5 years) and take care of my mom's two (shitzu, mix terrier) when she goes out of town. Chalupa hangs with her cousins during the day and enjoys my mom's home. I enjoy walking, playing, feeding, and caring for dogs (teeth brush/brush/shower/etc.). Would love to go above and beyond for you and yours while you are out of town or need some extra help. I am currently a post-graduate student who is looking for additional opportunities to get ahead on loans. I go to the gym and park in my free time, usually 3-4 hours a day. I can transport large or small dogs if desired; I have a hatchback SUV, two small boxes for dogs to sit leashed in the car, or can have small dog on my lap while I drive - something I often do with Chalupa. I would prefer not to leave the house in a vehicle unless the dog park is a part of your routine and you have a crate I can transport larger dogs in. I am new to the service and if you are reading this you would be my first client. I would follow your instructions and might bother you with a question or two. I would send you photo updates and text check in 1x a day in the morning. More if desired, I don't want to bother you on your vacation.
About: I’ve been watching and caring for pets since I was little and have always had a love for animals. I’ve been taking care of neighbors and friends pets for years without any issues. I also have two fur babies of my own who receive plenty of walks, attention, and affection, and I would love the opportunity to care for your pets as well. I’m currently enrolled at the University of Arizona studying medicine, and I’ve taken several animal related classes simply because of my passion for animals. I’m a very patient, reliable, and attentive person who will treat your pet with the same care and love as my own. I’m currently a student at the University of Arizona studying medicine and im very free in the afternoons and nights to care for pets. And my schedule is free for the weekends to care for animals. I am very attentive and patient when it comes to caring for animals. I try to be observant to my dogs behaviors to see if soemthing is off and I try to keep a decently consistent schedule with feeding and potty breaks. I also make sure they have enough water especially in Arizona heat.
About: I have cared for dogs and cats all of my childhood. I also have experience with many types animal personalities and the needs that come with them! I have a very flexible schedule so I can provide all the attention that your animal may need! With communication I can work with what schedule you have in mind for your animals care! I do have a backyard and a playful 5 year old dog who is energetic and loves to play with others dogs. He also loves his sun naps.

“We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard.
