Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

About: I grew up with dogs and have been caring for them since I was young, so being around them feels natural to me. About: I've loved dogs my whole life! When I was born my mom had a chocolate lab and a doberman. Then my dad got a rescue pitbull and a husky mix. Right now my family has a mini golden doodle who's been with us for 14 years and a mini Aussie doodle. I also have a pitbull mix named nova! She's two years old. About: Hi! I've had my cat Olive for 11 years and my dog Bel for 3 years. I have also taken care of close to 70 foster animals mostly kittens, with a few medical fosters, and behavioral issues along the way. I have taken courses on behavioral training for dogs as my own dog is reactive towards dogs, so I am very familiar with dog reactivity. I currently run a small 1 man business from my home and have control over my schedule to provide care to other animals regularly. I also foster other animals from time to time. My own dog is reactive and high energy and needs 3 walks a day usually with a lot of play. My cat is a large maincoon that requires a strict diet and care regimen to keep her pre-diabetes in check.

About: I have experience taking care of boarding dogs and cats at an animal hospital. I worked for them for a little over a year and have gotten lots of experience with dogs and cats. I used to raise puppies and train them how to sit and have manners for about two years with my parent. I have dog sitting experience and house sitting experience. I am currently going to school at the UofA full time during the weekdays (my class schedule is listed below keep reading) and would be available most days to come and play with the animals for 30 minutes to an hour in the afternoons and overnight sitting. And on weekends I would be free to play with and walk the animals as needed. Class schedule: Mon 1pm-2pm Tue 9:30am-1pm then 3pm-5pm Wed 9am-2pm then 4pm-5pm Thur 9:30am-4pm Fri 1pm-2pm I do also have a job at the animal shelter for part time. That work schedule will vary but will be no more the 4-6 hours a day. Likely to be on the weekends to avoid conflict with school :) For my personal home, I will not be able to board any pets. Although I am very safe and responsible. My person pet uses a crate just for her safety when I am gone. I am good with crate training as needed for your pets as well. I make sure I clean up after every day and leave the house as clean as I can before you arrive back home to your happy animals!

About: My whole life has been around animals including 2-3 dogs in my household, caring for a guinea pig, and loving on my friends’ cats. About: i’ve grown up with animals my whole life, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. i really think there’s no better feeling than the joy and companionship animals bring, and i’d love the opportunity to care for yours. over the years, family and friends have trusted me to look after their dogs while they’re away, and i always ensure they receive the attention, exercise, and care they need. i grew up with my brother, who is a professional dog trainer, and while i don’t have the same level of training, i’ve learned so much from him over the years. i can help reinforce simple commands with puppies and younger dogs, and i’m just as happy giving extra love, patience, and attention to senior dogs. i have experience living with and caring for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors, so i’m confident i can meet the needs of every dog and their unique personality. i especially love spending time with high energy dogs who enjoy playing or going on walks, but i’m always happy to adjust my care to whatever makes your pet feel happiest and most comfortable. i am a college student at the university of arizona and am pretty flexible with my schedule. i can do really early mornings before class and most afternoons after class. i am also very open on the weekends and would love to help out whenever needed!!! i always make it a priority to pay attention to your pets’ needs and personalities so they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. i love spending time with animals and making sure they get the attention, exercise, and playtime they need throughout the day. i also love the calmer moments, like relaxing with them, giving them extra affection, or simply keeping them company when it’s time to wind down. i spend a lot of time with my own animals at home, making sure they receive the care, attention, and love they need to be happy, and i would love the opportunity to provide that same level of care to your pets.
About: I'm a lover of every animal I've ever met, with a background in pediatrics, medication administration, foster animal care, neo-natal pet care, first aid and pet/house sitting. I've personally had cats and dogs since I was very young, other small animals as pets as an adult (rats, chickens, goats) and have spent much of my life caring for the pets of friends and loved ones when I couldn't have pets of my own. I love to provide training for young kittens and pups, and have a special love for elderly and special needs animals. We are new to Tucson and hoping to meet and care for as many animals as possible! I am a consultant who works remotely and also own a home in Tucson, complete with my own pets. As such, I have a strict policy of honoring my clients' trust and delivering the quality of care that I would hope for our own home and loved ones. I'm a consultant with a very flexible, remote schedule. I can easily adapt my meeting and work schedule around the needs of pets and others. I like to have conversations about what will make families and clients most at ease at the beginning of our time working together, and then follow through to make sure trust is built quickly and deeply. This can include following special protocols, providing lots of photos and videos, and calling or texting immediately if something arises that I don't yet know the answer to, such as how to help an animal through a surprise stressful situation or where a favorite toy might be hiding. I am engaged and attentive and learn animals' boundaries and interests quickly and easily.
About: Hi! I’m Sidney, I love all animals and it’s truly important for me to make sure pets are happy and loved when their owners are away. As a pet owner myself, I know how much anxiety leaving pets behind brings when travelling. It’s so important to me to make sure the pets I care for receive the same kind of love I would want for my own cat. Skills & Experience: -Cared for family dogs and cats for 17 years, including daily walks. Provided pet-sitting for 15+ years -Current cat owner of 1 cat for 5 years. -Provided drop-in visits and overnight dog-sitting through rover for 3 years I’d love to help out with drop-ins and walking in a regular basis in my neighborhood. I work 9-6 on weekdays, so I can do morning and evening walks and drop-ins. Also, I can do over night pet-sitting as needed. I’m very responsible and reliable. I truly enjoy playing and interacting with both dogs and cats of all ages and breeds. I would love to help you make having a pet more do-able and stress-free! I work a 8-5 job Monday-Friday. I can do check-ins before work and after work. For stays I am unable to stop by during the day, unless you love near downtown. In the month of June, I can work from home (your house) the second half of the day. I only provide stays at your home. I can follow whatever safety and care requirements you have, besides taking the dog out mid-day on weekdays.

Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well.
