About: I’ve been a dog whisperer since I was a child. I have had dogs (one or two at a time) my whole life. We lost our last dog last year and don’t want the long term commitment of a new dog at this stage in our lives, but would love to take care of other people’s dogs. It is just myself and my husband in our household. I work from home part-time and if there are days that I would be showing property (realtor) I would not schedule a Rover sitting job. Also, I babysit a small child every Wednesday and Thursday. I have a fully fenced yard and no other dogs. I have no problem having dogs stay inside my home. About: I have always had cats since the day I was born, and I’m very experienced looking after cats of all ages and temperaments. We’ve had tiny kittens all the way up to 15 year old seniors, requiring different levels of care and attention. I’m not scared of cats and will happily spend as much or as little time with them as they want (they always get to decide, naturally). I have a great back yard where dogs can run around and feel safe. I am pretty minimal when it comes to furniture but do have plenty of room for dogs to lay around. Dogs are free to roam as they please and can freely go outside. I wash all couch covers twice a week, sweep & vacuum everyday, and mop as needed. I am very big on keeping poop picked up and making sure things are regularly cleaned up, like toys or trash that might be out. Bathroom doors stay closed and cleaning supplies are locked up.
