“This was our Lab’s second stay. She thoroughly enjoys being around John, Water and their pup, Poppy. They always her much love, playtime and attention so she’s gotten a bit better about staying overnight. Poppy and my dog have become good buddies so I know she is very comfortable in their home. Our lab did have an accident while playing ball with another dog in the extended concrete patio area in the backyard. While jumping up to catch the ball, she bumped into the other dog and ended up pulling a ligament in her hind leg (had Vet check her the following day). Water promptly called me to inform me she was limping and explained what had happened. I sincerely appreciated her concern and so relieved it wasn’t something much worse. Water always kept us informed throughout our dog’s weekend stay with texts and pictures. Hoping down the road that Water and John can make a play area that is conducive for running and catching balls with a soft surface so we can bring our dog back. I know she really likes being with them! As a very active lab who loves playing and chasing balls, she always gets playtime from Water and John. Thank you Water and John, you guys are such gems.”

About: I have always had cats since the day I was born, and I’m very experienced looking after cats of all ages and temperaments. We’ve had tiny kittens all the way up to 15 year old seniors, requiring different levels of care and attention. I’m not scared of cats and will happily spend as much or as little time with them as they want (they always get to decide, naturally). I’ve looked after cats with various dietary needs, as well, so happy to coax and cater to even the pickiest eaters!

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats my entire life. I currently have a 12 year old male Labrador and a 4 year old female cat. They are both friendly and accepting of visiting dogs. I am retired one year. My days are spent primarily at home, working in my garden and doing household chores. We’re pretty laidback and enjoy staying close to our animals and home. About: I have been around animals for my entire life, mostly dogs! I have pet sit for neighbors and family friends since I was young, and have been working professionally with animals for about one year, feeding, training, coaching, and shanking animals in shelter, daycare, and boarding environments all ranging from pets ages newborn to elderly. I have the most experience with dogs, but I do have experience with cats and a love for both. I am a full time student, however, my classes are all online so I am available to work from any location at any time. I have open availability currently and can take care pets at any time! Although I live in a smaller apartment, my complex is gated and completely friendly to pets, and my unit is directly outside of a private dog park for residents only! Your pets will have plenty of toys and room to run around and have fun here. About: I would love to take care of your baby! You can feel comfort and relax knowing our family loves dogs and will treat them as part of our own. Grew up with dogs, owned 2 English bulldogs for 13 years and have dropped in many times for pet-sitting for folks on vacations, etc. I know how important peace of mind is when you have to leave your furry loved ones. I have flexibility and whatever your dog needs to be happy while you are away is fine with me! If they like walks or just want to play and hang out, etc. We live in a cul-de-sac, yard is not fenced, so all potty breaks will be monitored and on leash. Lots of neighborhood to walk if needed. We do not have a dog right now, so...friendly kiddos around after school to help give them all the attention they can get! We also welcome small stock animal care if you go out of town (rabbit, Guinea pig, turtle, etc) We have 1 rabbit with a spare cage on top! I'm a Mom, & also working part time hours so I have a flexible schedule. Love to get out and go for walks myself and love pet companions to join! Your baby is my baby when here! Our yard is large but unfenced. So all potty breaks are leashed and done with me. (And frequent as well). Can help crate train if you wish too.

While working with a Dog Trainer, I've interacted with many different types of animals (even their temperaments at times) such as different dog breeds and sizes, as well as cats. For dogs being trained, as well as those being boarded, I was responsible for feedings, any medications that needed to be administered, crating and uncrating dogs for bathroom breaks, cleaning of all outside kennels and inside crates, I also bathed and groomed dogs before they returned home. Other than dogs and cats, I'm also experienced in working with reptiles, rabbits, fish, etc. I am very careful and respectful to all animals and their environments and schedules. Stephanie was great about sending photos with little updates and even though we missed him terribly while we were away, I knew he was being loved and cuddled in our absence.
