“Josephine was an excellent sitter and went above and beyond for our dog Hazel. Her updates were detailed and gave us great peace of mind while we were away. I would feel very comfortable rebooking her in the future, and appreciated the level of care she had. Thanks again, Josephine!”

“Fantastic! We are repeat customers and Zack my cat loves Xochitl. I could tell by how happy and contented Zack looked in the visit photos that he remembered Xochitl and that he felt very safe and taken care of. Highly highly recommended.”

“Robin is the best! Friendly, efficient, and very flexible! She puts up with a lot from my spoiled little girls. But she is always there for them and for me. What a wonderful person! Her care and kindness are greatly appreciated!”

“Amazingly, Alora was able to take pix of my 2 scared cats, and she even got one of them up on the bed. (We've just moved here, and my cats haven't yet adjusted.) Alora was polite, on time, easy to work with, and reliable. Much appreciated!”

“Dee and Tatiana are very kind, gentle people and they took wonderful care of our cat, Burly while we were on vacation. (Also watered plants and checked mail) They stayed longer than required each day and sent us photos and loving reports every day. Because of my incomplete planning, we bumped into each other on the last day, when we returned, and they took that day off the total cost, which they really did not have to do!!”

“Rachel was just awesome! All my kitties are rescued and are still a bit feral. She was able to get Feisty and Tiger to let her pet them! This is a sign of the perfect cat sitter! Thanks for the daily photos. Much appreciated.”

“Marie has been a life saver. She started home visits for my 2 kitties last minute after I experienced a medical issue and has been consistent, prompt and very flexible. I'd highly recommend her,”

“I can’t recommend Megan as a dog sitter highly enough! When our original plans fell through just a week before my vacation, she stepped in without hesitation and immediately put my mind at ease. From day one, her communication was outstanding — she sent daily updates and adorable pictures that truly showed how much care and attention she was giving to my dog. It felt like she treated my furry friend like her own. Beyond just excellent care, she even left a thoughtful little note for us, which was such a sweet and personal touch. Her professionalism, warmth, and genuine love for animals went far beyond what I expected. If you want someone who will not only watch your dog but truly care for them like family, look no further — she is simply the best!”

“Allison took wonderful care of my dog and cat babies while I was away for Thanksgiving. She made sure they were happy and healthy and included dog walks in her price. Even when I got sick at the end of my vacation, she went above and beyond to come and care for them for 3 extra days. She’s very sweet, polite and is worth more than she charges. I would highly recommend Allison if you want peace of mind in knowing your babies will be loved while you’re away.”

“Leah is an exceptional sitter. She visited Tucker every single day as promised and always sent a photo, which became the little heartbeat of my trip. Her care, consistency, and kindness let me enjoy my time away knowing my fur baby was safe, happy, and in gentle hands. I felt completely at ease, and that peace of mind is priceless. I recommend Leah without hesitation.”

“Barbara was wonderful, and her home is great for dogs. She was very quick and responsive to my email requests and inquiries, and she made Tigger feel at home. Her dog Chuy is very friendly and was a good playmate. ”

About: I’ve taken care of many different types of animals, as well as had plenty of my own— I work remotely and have pretty much infinite time to spend with your furry (scaly, feathery) friends! I’ve lived in friends’ houses for over two weeks to look after their animals; I’m generally pretty quiet and allow the pets come to me, but I’m happy to do tricks with them or take them out for runs and adventures when requested! I love taking lots of pictures of your pets to send you, and keeping you up to date on their health and adventures! Have also provided care for senior animals multiple times, and dealt with health crises while the owner was absent. Happy to do dogs or cats, but can also handle rodents, reptiles, etc. Have previously had: rabbits, Guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles/tortoises, dogs, cats, and fish. As long as you are willing to demonstrate the care of the animal, I am willing to take on pretty much anything, though! I love hanging out with animals while I’m working— they’re such good office-mates! Of course I have to leave occasionally during overnight stays, but your pets are my priority, always! Whatever attention they need, I will give them, and I will always keep my eyes and ears open for any mischief happening! I like to go through your routine with you and then try to keep everything as close to normal for your pets as possible! They’ll already be missing you— they don’t need any more stress! Food and water bowls refilled on time, walks given regularly, and as many pets, kisses, and photoshoots as required!
About: I’ve been a dog whisperer since I was a child. I have had dogs (one or two at a time) my whole life. We lost our last dog last year and don’t want the long term commitment of a new dog at this stage in our lives, but would love to take care of other people’s dogs. It is just myself and my husband in our household. I work from home part-time and if there are days that I would be showing property (realtor) I would not schedule a Rover sitting job. Also, I babysit a small child every Wednesday and Thursday. I have a fully fenced yard and no other dogs. I have no problem having dogs stay inside my home. I am happy to go to the client’s home as well.
“I wish Rover would let me tip Carla more! Have booked for a couple years, and Carla has been reliable every visit. My shy cats feel comfortable coming out to see her when she checks in.”

“Karen goes above and beyond! While checking in on our cat for a week, she also sent pictures to show us how he was doing, brought in packages left at our front door, and took our garbage bins without even being asked. I usually have anxiety with leaving my pets whenever I go on a trip, but I felt worry-free after meeting Karen. I highly recommend her and will definitely be contacting her again next time I go out of town.”

About: My name is Jenna. I’ve taken care of all different kind of animals since I can remember from dogs and cat to birds and hedgehogs whether they’ve been mine or friends and families pets. I have experience with dogs who have special needs and have to take medication daily as that’s what I have to do with my own dogs. I am very reliable and will love your fur baby like they are my own! I send updates and pictures so you’ll be able to see your baby while you’re away! I do work full time but when I am with your furry friend they’ll have all of my attention whether that be by playing, going for walks or just hanging out! The way I will care for your pet is very respectful and positive. I will respect you and your pets boundaries. If there is any specific rule or requirement such as medication, feeding routine and potty breaks those will be followed.

Julia is the best! I was so worried to use rover initially because I am very protective of my kitties, but now I can enjoy being away without hesitation. She is very attentive and even our most shy cat has warmed up to her. Would highly recommend Julia to anyone!

Thank you Andrea for your attention to detail, great communication, timely check-ins with our pups and taking such good care of them while we were away. We enjoyed the many pictures and updates after each visit and the peace of mind they brought us! If you're available for our next family excursion we would love to book you again!

Josephine was an excellent sitter and went above and beyond for our dog Hazel. Her updates were detailed and gave us great peace of mind while we were away. I would feel very comfortable rebooking her in the future, and appreciated the level of care she had. Thanks again, Josephine!

Lia and Alexzander were so great with our cat Grace. She normally does not like most people but I have lots of photos of them petting her and brushing her, so she obviously became very comfortable with them. They were awesome to do the things we needed done and faithfully communicated and sent us photos. I would very highly recommend them!
