A typical day with me is all about keeping your pets happy and sticking to the routine they already know and love. I usually start the morning with a good walk or some playtime in the yard to get everyone’s energy out, followed by breakfast and making sure any meds or supplements are taken. Since I am a student, I spend a lot of my day at the house doing school work which is perfect for pets who like having someone around to nap next to or lean on while I work. I’m not the type to just feed them and disappear and I really enjoy the companionship. For fun, I love to get creative depending on what the pet likes. If it’s a high-energy dog, we’ll play fetch or go for a hike to enjoy the fresh air. For cats or more mellow senior dogs, I’m happy to just hang out on the couch with them, give them some good head scratches, or brush them if they enjoy that. I also like to keep things interesting with puzzle toys or just some fun backyard time. I’ll also be sure to send you plenty of photos of what we’re up to so you can see they are having a great time. My main goal is to make sure they feel loved and tired out by the end of the day!
