Safety, trust & environment

Taking care of pets is all dependent on them. Whatever care they need, I will provide. Im definitely a crazy cat lady and I won't hear a single word of a conversation if im petting a dog. All animals deserve what makes them thrive. I will probably give too many treats for the adorable faces.

Information Leanna Y. would like to know about your pet

If im just waking your animals, please specify certain area to not walk your pet, how they interact with other people and animals and if they have any special leashes, harnesses or masks for walking, plus how to put them on. Any medication needed for the animal, needs to be labeled, specify where it's located, what the medicine is taken for, how many times a day, how to administer it (i.e. pill treats), dosage, how many to administer if its pills, and any complications to look out for, plus things to avoid doing when administering it. Id love to get to know your pets more, especially if you'll be a regular, so tell me your animals personalities, their favorite treats and toys, any activities they love doing, if they perfer outdoors or indoors, and if they have any separation anxiety or anxiety with load noises (I.e. storms and fireworks), Any hiding places or reactions they may have to those noises. Anything that gets them really excited and time where its better for the household to keep them calm (i.e. saying " lets go on a walk" or "you want a treat, during the evening times). Obviously your furbabies names and descriptions of each is theres multiple. Its also good to specify if the animal is senior or special needs, on top of the medication instructions so I know how to prepare. Plus whatever else is needed for the animal if there bathroom needs, feeding needs, walking needs, etc.

A typical day

Outside exercise, play with toys outside or inside, enrichment toys, emotional support for separation anxiety. Making sure the animal is always fed, walked, exercised and loved.

Pet care experience

Along with my babysitting jobs growing up, I also cared for the fur babies. Everything from bunnies to fish and even turtles. I will always take special requests and read any details to make sure I give the furbabies the upmost care I can provide. I don't have experience specifically with special needs animals, but I will take my time to make sure I meet all their needs. Ive raised multiple senior pets in my own home. I will give the furbabies no matter what stage of life their in. I will water plants, give medicine and provide any grooming needs. If supplies are provided, I will clean up any messes.
