Caring for pets has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My first best friend was a 100-pound Labrador named Stewie, and I’ve had a special place in my heart for animals ever since. I have more than 18 years of pet-sitting experience caring for pets with a wide range of ages, personalities, routines, and individual needs. I understand that every pet is different, and I take the time to learn what makes yours feel happiest, safest, and most comfortable while you’re away. I’m experienced with senior pets and pets requiring additional care, including oral medications, dietary restrictions, and specific feeding or daily routines. I’m also comfortable following detailed care instructions and maintaining the consistency pets are accustomed to with you. Above all, I approach every stay with the same thoughtfulness and attention I would want for my own pets. My goal is to keep their routine as familiar as possible while providing plenty of affection, companionship, and attentive care, so both you and your pets can feel completely at ease while you’re apart.

When caring for pets in their own home, my priority is maintaining the routines and environment they already know and feel comfortable in. I follow each pet’s established feeding, walking, medication, sleeping, and playtime routines as closely as possible, while tailoring my care to their individual personality and needs. I’m attentive to household rules, safety precautions, and any special instructions you provide, and I understand that caring for your pet also means being trusted with your home. I treat every space with the utmost care and respect, with thoughtful attention to your privacy and security throughout my stay. Above all, I want your pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own environment and for you to have complete peace of mind while you’re away.

Marie is the best! She was so good with my 20 month old Golden Retriever, and was wonderfully responsible watching him in my home for two days and nights for the first time. Marie communicates very promptly and professionally, and is super easy to work with. Highly recommend Marie to anyone looking for a fantastic Rover for their pet!

Marie was the ultimate professional. Everything we needed or expected for our pets she took care of. Even when we were unexpectedly stranded due to the airlines cancellations she managed to work things out for us so that our pets were not left alone. Highly recommend.

Schedule
I own and operate my own business outside of pet sitting, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows pet care to fit naturally into my daily routine. I’m often able to work remotely and adjust my schedule around the pets in my care, particularly when arrangements are made in advance. Because every pet has different needs, I’m happy to discuss your pet’s usual schedule and determine how I can best accommodate their routine while you’re away. Whether that means maintaining their regular feeding and walking schedule or arranging additional daytime companionship, I do my best to provide consistent, attentive care while keeping their routine as familiar as possible.
