Lifelong animal lover 🐾 with years of experience caring for dogs and cats, plus time working at shelters, a zoo, a horse farm, and with fish and wildlife services. Born and raised in Tucson, I earned my first bachelor’s degree in animal behavior from the University of Arizona. Afterward, I moved to San Diego and worked at the Coronado Animal Care Facility, a no-kill shelter, where I cared for animals of all kinds—feeding, cleaning, and most importantly, socializing them to prepare for adoption. This experience gave me confidence in working with pets who have had tough or traumatic pasts. I then served 10 years in the Navy as a medic, stationed all over the world. Now, I’m back in school at Oregon State University studying wildlife biology. I bring calm, care, and plenty of love to every furry friend I meet. Your pets will feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away! 💕

Alayne is such a joy to have in our lives! She provides exceptional updates, is incredibly timely, and cares for my dog like he is her own. She also excels at pet photography. My husband and I work a lot and feel so secure knowing that Alayne checks up on our pup! We are so lucky to have her.
Alayne was amazing! Especially since one of the cats has some special needs pop up right before our trip. Alayne handled it was grace. When we walked in from our trip, the cats were both clearly bummed that it was us and not her....

Schedule
My schedule is very flexible! I go to school full-time, but all of my classes are online, which allows me to have plenty of availability throughout the day for pet care.
