“Exceptional! Carly is a shy dog with others but because Sheila and David are such "dog people", they sent pics every day of Carly, peacefully laying on their laps! This was the first time ever boarding Carly and she is not used to having other dogs around her but, their own dogs, Mellow and Jaxon were well behaved and welcomed Carly. Mellow even shared his crate with Carly when she wanted a quiet place of "her own". The daily texts and pics were fun and welcome. Their home is perfectly set up for boarding multiple dogs if needed. The outdoor spaces are perfect! Plenty of shade and spacious enough to lounge or run around. I can't recommend Shiela and David more highly. If it is your first time boarding your fur-baby, and you are nervous about it, choose Shiela and David. You can rest assured that your baby, even a baby as shy as Carly, is well cared for with Shiela and David.”

“We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. Cynthia took great care of our dog, sent us regular updates including pictures and videos. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. “Ashley and her family are the best! We were in town to deal with some business and with varying hours and she happily was very flexible about what time we needed to pick our Lily up! Our dog had a blast and was pulling on the leash to get back to the door when we brought her back after the first day. Ashley provided walks, training sessions,rest time and playtime. Our dog is on a low-fat diet for medical reasons and she conscientiously gave her the treats we brought. She sends several videos during the day so you can see your baby. There were a couple other dogs in care at the same time and she did an excellent job of introducing and monitoring the dogs. Overall a wonderful experience! We don’t live in Tucson but if we ever return for a visit we would definitely use her again and we highly recommend her to others ❤️”

About: I have hands-on experience fostering rescue dogs for the past two years—especially puppies. I’ve helped rehabilitate malnourished, abandoned dogs and guided them into loving forever homes. My own dog is a foster fail I nursed back to health at just 2 months old after she was found on the street. Since then, I’ve fostered an entire litter of five puppies, all of whom were successfully adopted. About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

About: I have been around animals my whole life. Growing up we had a family dog that I helped train when she was a puppy. I currently have a bunny of my own and look after my parent’s dog often. “Miriam was exceptional! She took care of our dog Kobe for a week when we were out of town. We got daily updates with pictures showing Kobe was having so much fun! There were lots of play time and snuggle time with her family. She has a beautiful, clean house with a spacious backyard, a perfect setup for any dog. “Can we give 100 stars? We went to Hawaii and are pretty sure our dog might have had more fun with Lara than we did on our trip. (Which is hard. The trip was awesome.) ?? Our dog is a dog's dog. He loves playing with others pups, and had the chance to do so all week. Every single video she sent showed him just having the best time with the other dogs-- and he even got to go out with the horses on the road! Our dog has A LOT of food issues and it was worrying that he would get into something (he is unable to eat anything except for his specialized food)-- not a problem. She kept him safe and made sure he didn't have anything he wasn't supposed to. Lara and her family are a true dog sitting gem. I need to plan another vacay just so our guy can stay with them again. Thank you, Lara! Consider us fans for life.”

Through out my dogs stay he sent pictures and she had an absolute blast playing, going out on walks and hanging around the house either cuddling with him or his dogs. So thankful to have found such a great sitter that I know she’s safe with and having a blast!”

Even though our ShihTzu was out of his element, and was a bit naughty, they handled it with lots of grace and patience!
