About: I stared dog sitting my freshman year of highschool for my neighbor, but eventually I enjoyed it so much that my friends would ask me to take care of their pets while they were out of town; from dogs, cats, and even hamsters. I always enjoy being around animals and I always find a way to build a good bond with them. I am a student at U of A, all my classes are usually in the morning so I’m free most afternoons. I am free on the weekends and can do any overnight pet sitting on Fridays and Saturdays. So if you’re going out for the weekend feel free to reach out! If the house has a backyard I will let them out every hour to ensure they are using the bathroom, if the house does not have a backyard I will take the dog out for a short walk every 2-3 hours. Of course i’ll take the dogs for a long walk everyday whether the house has a backyard or not. I will follow any schedules such as feeding schedules that the owners give me.

About: I worked at a boarding business for cats and dogs and was around many different breeds, sizes, and ages of cats. In this job I had to clean out their litter box, feed them their desired food, and also give medicine to the ones that needed it. I also had to play and cuddle and spend time with each cat during a shift. I have always grown up around cats, my first ever pet was a cat, and I own a cat now as well. I can pick up on their moods fairly quickly and know basic knowledge of cats health.

About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

About: I grew up with dogs and have been caring for them since I was young, so being around them feels natural to me. About: I worked at a boarding business for about a year and a half for dogs and cats. I worked with all different sizes and breeds, and ages of dogs and cats. My job tittle including playing and cuddling with the animals, feeding the animals, cleaning where they stayed, and giving medicine to the animals that required it. I have a little more than basic knowledge of dogs and cats health and always try to stay up to date with that. I dog sit and cat sit for friends and families regularly aswell. I have always grown up around animals and if you were to ask anyone who knows me they will say I have always wanted to work with animals since I knew what a job was. I am currently a college student and am majoring in wildlife conservation, while that's not specifically a major for cats and animals I still have and will learn a lot about those species as well!! I currently don't have a job so my schedule is really open. I work out everyday usually in the mornings to early afternoons. But I have a very flexible schedule! Class schedule: Mon 1pm-2pm Tue 9:30am-1pm then 3pm-5pm Wed 9am-2pm then 4pm-5pm Thur 9:30am-4pm Fri 1pm-2pm I do also have a job at the animal shelter for part time. That work schedule will vary but will be no more the 4-6 hours a day. Likely to be on the weekends to avoid conflict with school :) For my personal home, I will not be able to board any pets. Although I am very safe and responsible. My person pet uses a crate just for her safety when I am gone. I am good with crate training as needed for your pets as well. I make sure I clean up after every day and leave the house as clean as I can before you arrive back home to your happy animals!

About: My whole life has been around animals including 2-3 dogs in my household, caring for a guinea pig, and loving on my friends’ cats. We raised several dogs from 6 week old puppies to their senior years. Since moving out on my own I have had the opportunity to dog sit for all ages of pups. My first dog was a Chihuahua who lived to be 18, so I learned a lot about caring for senior dogs and making sure they stay comfortable as they grow older. I've also grown up around horses and farm animals, and I even had a leopard gecko for a couple years. About: Hi! I've had my cat Olive for 11 years and my dog Bel for 3 years. I have also taken care of close to 70 foster animals mostly kittens, with a few medical fosters, and behavioral issues along the way. I have taken courses on behavioral training for dogs as my own dog is reactive towards dogs, so I am very familiar with dog reactivity. I currently run a small 1 man business from my home and have control over my schedule to provide care to other animals regularly. I also foster other animals from time to time. My own dog is reactive and high energy and needs 3 walks a day usually with a lot of play. My cat is a large maincoon that requires a strict diet and care regimen to keep her pre-diabetes in check.

Skills & Experience: -Cared for family dogs and cats for 17 years, including daily walks. Provided pet-sitting for 15+ years -Current cat owner of 1 cat for 5 years. -Provided drop-in visits and overnight dog-sitting through rover for 3 years I’d love to help out with drop-ins and walking in a regular basis in my neighborhood. I work 9-6 on weekdays, so I can do morning and evening walks and drop-ins. Also, I can do over night pet-sitting as needed. I’m very responsible and reliable. In the month of June, I can work from home (your house) the second half of the day. I only provide stays at your home. I can follow whatever safety and care requirements you have, besides taking the dog out mid-day on weekdays.
