“We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. Cynthia took great care of our dog, sent us regular updates including pictures and videos. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. When we came back we found that our dog had such a good time that I'm not sure she wanted to leave! Needless to say that Cynthia will be our first choice to watch our dog whenever the need arises! “I had to leave last minute to Phoenix to help take care of my mom while my dad was away for work. Since the stay home order has been really hard on everyone, I didn’t think I would be able to find someone to take care of my dog. He’s very skittish, and gets stressed out and scared around men, so not many people I talked to could take him. Vicky was AMAZING. She sent me pictures 2-3 times daily and updated me on how he was doing. She even sent me a few videos! I was so scared to leave him with someone he had never met before, but he adjusted so well to Vicky’s kind and gentle nature and let him have exploring time in her home. I will forever be deeply grateful for what Vicky has done for me and Magnum, and her genuine kindness and passion she has for this work! I will be coming to Vicky for any dog boarding I need for Magnum! Honestly, I think if you’re reading this review that you should too. About: I worked at a boarding business for cats and dogs and was around many different breeds, sizes, and ages of cats. In this job I had to clean out their litter box, feed them their desired food, and also give medicine to the ones that needed it. I also had to play and cuddle and spend time with each cat during a shift. I have always grown up around cats, my first ever pet was a cat, and I own a cat now as well. I can pick up on their moods fairly quickly and know basic knowledge of cats health.

About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

About: I grew up with dogs and have been caring for them since I was young, so being around them feels natural to me. About: I've loved dogs my whole life! When I was born my mom had a chocolate lab and a doberman. Then my dad got a rescue pitbull and a husky mix. Right now my family has a mini golden doodle who's been with us for 14 years and a mini Aussie doodle. I also have a pitbull mix named nova! She's two years old. I’ve never met an animal that didn’t like me! I just graduated esthetician school and I’m currently starting my business. Everything I make on rover goes towards my career! About: I have experience taking care of boarding dogs and cats at an animal hospital. I worked for them for a little over a year and have gotten lots of experience with dogs and cats. I used to raise puppies and train them how to sit and have manners for about two years with my parent. I have dog sitting experience and house sitting experience. I also want to note that I am a full time college student, my schedule is below for more information. Just keep scrolling and you will see “schedule” section. Thank you :) I am currently going to school at the UofA full time during the weekdays (my class schedule is listed below keep reading) and would be available most days to come and play with the animals for 30 minutes to an hour in the afternoons and overnight sitting. And on weekends I would be free to play with and walk the animals as needed. Class schedule: Mon 1pm-2pm Tue 9:30am-1pm then 3pm-5pm Wed 9am-2pm then 4pm-5pm Thur 9:30am-4pm Fri 1pm-2pm I do also have a job at the animal shelter for part time. That work schedule will vary but will be no more the 4-6 hours a day. Likely to be on the weekends to avoid conflict with school :) For my personal home, I will not be able to board any pets. Although I am very safe and responsible. My person pet uses a crate just for her safety when I am gone. I am good with crate training as needed for your pets as well. I make sure I clean up after every day and leave the house as clean as I can before you arrive back home to your happy animals!

About: My whole life has been around animals including 2-3 dogs in my household, caring for a guinea pig, and loving on my friends’ cats. We raised several dogs from 6 week old puppies to their senior years. Since moving out on my own I have had the opportunity to dog sit for all ages of pups. About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. My first dog was a Chihuahua who lived to be 18, so I learned a lot about caring for senior dogs and making sure they stay comfortable as they grow older. I've also grown up around horses and farm animals, and I even had a leopard gecko for a couple years. Most of my friends and family have dogs too, so I've spent plenty of time around all kinds of personalities and energy levels. Being around animals has always been something I enjoy! I got my VA certification from Pima Medical Institute in 2022 and have worked at multiple clinics over the last 4 years. I am very familiar with boarding, daycare, and veterinary environments so rest assured, your 4-legged pal is in responsible hands. I have worked with all kinds of dogs, cats, and other little beasties, nothing is too out of the ordinary for me these days. I grew up with many pups and kitties in my life so it’s a familiar feeling having animals around constantly. As a CVA I have professional training in general, emergency, intensive veterinary care so I am able to adjust to any of your pets medical needs if necessary. I am also a pet parent myself with 2 crazy dogs and 1 spicy cat and understand how important getting proper care for them is. My clinic is open weekdays from 3-11pm and weekends 10am-8pm. I am off on Saturday, Wednesday, and Thursdays typically. I can probably take bookings earlier in the day on days I work with enough notice. Whatever setup you have in your home I am willing to work with, it’s all about your buddy’s comfort and your peace of mind! If you have a reactive or aggressive dog I’m willing to do house calls. Any feeding or medication accommodations are fine with me as well.

I’ve cared for young and geriatric dogs, dogs with anxiety, and have experience giving medication (oral meds and eye drops!) I’m off for the summer before school, so my schedule is flexible! I have one recurring event Saturday mornings, other than that we can figure out what works best for you and your pet! My home is not available for pets right now, but I am happy to take care of your pet in their own home! I am open to dropping in as well as staying the night to keep them company! I would like to keep their routine as steady as possible, and am happy to play with them, let them out, take them on walks, etc. as best fits their normal schedule!

About: Hi! I've had my cat Olive for 11 years and my dog Bel for 3 years. I have also taken care of close to 70 foster animals mostly kittens, with a few medical fosters, and behavioral issues along the way. I have taken courses on behavioral training for dogs as my own dog is reactive towards dogs, so I am very familiar with dog reactivity. I currently run a small 1 man business from my home and have control over my schedule to provide care to other animals regularly. I also foster other animals from time to time. My own dog is reactive and high energy and needs 3 walks a day usually with a lot of play. My cat is a large maincoon that requires a strict diet and care regimen to keep her pre-diabetes in check.
About: i’ve grown up with animals my whole life, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. i really think there’s no better feeling than the joy and companionship animals bring, and i’d love the opportunity to care for yours. over the years, family and friends have trusted me to look after their dogs while they’re away, and i always ensure they receive the attention, exercise, and care they need. i grew up with my brother, who is a professional dog trainer, and while i don’t have the same level of training, i’ve learned so much from him over the years. i can help reinforce simple commands with puppies and younger dogs, and i’m just as happy giving extra love, patience, and attention to senior dogs. i have experience living with and caring for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors, so i’m confident i can meet the needs of every dog and their unique personality. i especially love spending time with high energy dogs who enjoy playing or going on walks, but i’m always happy to adjust my care to whatever makes your pet feel happiest and most comfortable. i am a college student at the university of arizona and am pretty flexible with my schedule. i can do really early mornings before class and most afternoons after class. i am also very open on the weekends and would love to help out whenever needed!!! i always make it a priority to pay attention to your pets’ needs and personalities so they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. i love spending time with animals and making sure they get the attention, exercise, and playtime they need throughout the day. i also love the calmer moments, like relaxing with them, giving them extra affection, or simply keeping them company when it’s time to wind down. i spend a lot of time with my own animals at home, making sure they receive the care, attention, and love they need to be happy, and i would love the opportunity to provide that same level of care to your pets.

“We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. Cynthia took great care of our dog, sent us regular updates including pictures and videos. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. When we came back we found that our dog had such a good time that I'm not sure she wanted to leave! Needless to say that Cynthia will be our first choice to watch our dog whenever the need arises! “I had to leave last minute to Phoenix to help take care of my mom while my dad was away for work. Since the stay home order has been really hard on everyone, I didn’t think I would be able to find someone to take care of my dog. He’s very skittish, and gets stressed out and scared around men, so not many people I talked to could take him. Vicky was AMAZING. She sent me pictures 2-3 times daily and updated me on how he was doing. She even sent me a few videos! I was so scared to leave him with someone he had never met before, but he adjusted so well to Vicky’s kind and gentle nature and let him have exploring time in her home. I will forever be deeply grateful for what Vicky has done for me and Magnum, and her genuine kindness and passion she has for this work! I will be coming to Vicky for any dog boarding I need for Magnum! Honestly, I think if you’re reading this review that you should too. “Our dog Ollie was very comfortable at Gail’s home with her dog and other dogs boarding worth her. It was our first time to use Rover and so happy to find Gail. Gail has a nice fenced yard for the dogs to run and sleep in the sun. Gail sent a few pictures and I could see our dog was very well cared for and enjoying her sweet home. Highly recommend!!!”
