“I was desperate, my booked boarding was closed down and I found out just days before my trip. I was told of Rover and after joining, Lesley was quick to respond. Our meet and greet went great. My 18 month old heeler is a bit of a rambunctious gal and my older dog can be grouchy. Both dogs got along great with her little mini. I had anxiety about leaving these two anywhere and hadn’t previously boarded them. Lesley assured me all would be well. She was very dog smart and took control of my pup with intent and kindness. Danielle was fabulous with my elderly, anxious dog who never did well with traditional boarding. My dog has never done this well with anyone aside from those in our home. I am already booking her for another trip at the end of this month. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars!
Leaving our dogs with someone new is incredibly stressful, especially when you’re going to be gone for an extended period. After a previous boarding experience that clearly wasn’t a good fit for our pups, I promised myself I would find a more personal, home environment the next time we traveled. Ron exceeded every expectation. From the moment we met him, it was clear he genuinely loves dogs. Throughout our entire trip, he sent daily updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. Instead of wondering how they were doing, we could actually see they were happy, relaxed, and having fun. Our two Shih Tzus, Hali’a and Fitz, settled in beautifully. They even learned to use the doggie door! They had the opportunity to interact with Ron and his sweet dogs, Lily and Cannoli, and it was obvious they were treated like part of the family instead of being left in a kennel. As pet parents, there’s nothing more valuable than being able to enjoy your vacation knowing your dogs are safe, loved, and well cared for. Ron gave us exactly that. We were so impressed that we’ve already booked with him again. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend Ron to anyone looking for someone who will care for their pets as if they were his own. Patrick was absolutely wonderful! Communication was excellent before and during our pet's stay with him. Judy is so awesome with our dog! He is a small, elderly dog with a ton of energy and love to give. She made such an effort to make sure that she was a good match for him before we even booked. She took her time to introduce him to her dogs, her house herself etc.... and it really helped my dog feel at ease. While we were away, she was extremely communicative if there were questions about my dog... and she also shared numerous photos of him with us so we knew how he was doing frequently. Cooper always feels great and happy when I go to pick him up. I can tell that he was well cared for and loved and that really means so much. 1000% recommend booking with Judy.
