“Did a great job dropping in on my kitties! They have a specific feeding routine that requires measuring out raw food with a scale and dosing medication into one of their meals. She handled both tasks with ease and seemed incredibly comfortable with the routine. She even went the extra mile by turning my plant lights on and off! She is very friendly, offers highly competitive pricing, and left me feeling completely confident that my cats were in good hands. I look forward to booking with her again!”

I’m a very patient, reliable, and attentive person who will treat your pet with the same care and love as my own. I am very attentive and patient when it comes to caring for animals. I try to be observant to my dogs behaviors to see if soemthing is off and I try to keep a decently consistent schedule with feeding and potty breaks. I also make sure they have enough water especially in Arizona heat.

I’ve helped friends, family, and neighbors with walking, feeding, bathing, and giving their dogs attention and exercise. I’m reliable, patient, and make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I wanted to become a Conservation Biologist at one point of my life instead I went into Public Health! My schedule is flexible, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and sitting, and I make sure they get lots of attention, playtime, and care while you’re away. I'm a PhD student and do a lot of work from home. Live close to campus. I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment in my pet-friendly apartment, with access to a small yard and nearby Himmel Park for regular walks and exercise. I carefully follow all care instructions, monitor pets closely, and ensure they feel secure and comfortable at all times. I'm a traveler and can't have my own pets but a temporary pet companion is always welcome and adored!

“Josie is awesome! She has dropped in and visited our poodle puppy a few times now and has always been so flexible with time and does a thorough job caring for our puppy during the day when we can't stop home over lunch. She always gives us a full report on how the visit went, and our puppy and her seem to get along great. Would highly recommend working with Josie!”

“This was the first time in years I haven't worried about my cat while gone! Tiffany clearly knows cats, and mine took to her instantly. It was such a relief not to have to worry about him while I was gone - thank you!!!”

I am able to provide bathing and brushing, manage specialized diets, and medication delivery. I have experience with dogs experiencing anxiety and with allergies, and have managed care for dogs recovering from accidents or serious illness. I have extended availability on Fridays starting at 3pm, and am openly available on Saturday and Sunday. I don't currently offer services from my own home, however I aim to make the most of the time I have with each pet in my care. “Not sure I can say enough positive things about Emma. Each time she cares for our dog we know he is in great hands and he’s smiling like the goofball he is in all of the pics she sends.”

“Isabella was a joy to see each morning when she came to give Bentley his shot. She was punctual and kind to our dogs. Bentley can be very wiggly when getting his shot and eye cream but Isabella was patient and persistent in getting the job done.We would highly recommend her.”

“Emily was incredible. She came over before my trip to meet my two cats and get a lay of the land. She explained the entire process and answered every question I had (plus some!). She was great with them and helped keep my house in tip-top shape while I was out of town. I would highly recommend her.”
“Fantastic sitter. Enthusiastic, capable, above and beyond. I was on a three week overseas trip and I had never given the keys to my home and care of the cats to someone outside my family before. She made me feel completely at ease with her contacts and numerous photos and videos of them. She’s fantastic and a genuine lover of animals. I can’t recommend her enough and will engage her again anytime I need a sitter!!!!”

“Kailey took great care of my pack. We had an emergency come up mid-trip and they were more than willing to adjust on the fly and add days which really saved us! We will absolutely use them again.”

“Again thank you to Alba for another great critter care!! Alba takes great care of our 'kids' Duncan and Tessa the cats. I have lost track of how many times Alba has taken care of our furry kids. We will be booking two more times in the very near future. Hopefully many more times after that! We consider Alba a very good friend!”

She was amazing! Pictures and notes every visit! She let me know everything going on, sent me pictures of not only my pup but of how the house looked, picked up after my clumsy dog and was on top of communication! I absolutely recommend Carmen and will use her again if I’m out of town!

Isabella was a joy to see each morning when she came to give Bentley his shot. She was punctual and kind to our dogs. Bentley can be very wiggly when getting his shot and eye cream but Isabella was patient and persistent in getting the job done.We would highly recommend her.

Victoria is awesome! Her love and care for all critters is very clear, and helping animals seems to be a real calling for her. She is super responsive, very attentive, and she prioritized our dog’s best interests and our instructions. Rosie is going through a lot with recovering from surgery and lots of change at home and I’ve been so worried about how sad she has seemed. After hanging with Victoria, our Rosie was noticeably brighter and happier, which made our day. We plan to book as much as we can with Victoria.

Michaela is a 10 out of 10 and I cannot recommend her enough, especially if you have dogs with big personalities or anxiety. I have two dogs, one is reactive and one is really nervous around new people, so finding someone I trust is not easy. Before we even started regular visits, Michaela was willing to do an extra visit just so my girls 🐶 could get comfortable with her. She did not have to do that, and it made such a huge difference. On top of that, she showed up in the rain, and my dogs absolutely hate the rain. She still got both of them outside to use the bathroom, kept them calm, and stayed the full visit. The report card she left was so detailed and thoughtful it genuinely made my day. She just really does whatever it takes to make them feel safe and comfortable and you can tell she actually cares. If your dogs need a little extra patience, she is your person. Book her!

Catherine is an amazing sitter for my anxious little chihuahua! I am a little particular about her care when I’m away and Catherine follows every little instruction with detail and care. She sends specific updates and pictures to keep me looped in, which I greatly appreciate! I would definitely book with her again!

Lillian is the best dog carer ever. She is kind, organized, punctual, has a great sense of humor. Most important though, she has incredibly deep expertise and experience with dogs. She understands them as someone who's trained and shown, and I have taken great comfort in knowing that Mumford is in truly expert hands. Can't recommend her highly enough.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.
Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Tucson stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.
Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Tucson choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Tucson with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
