I have a large fenced in back yard and access to wide, low traffic residential streets that are great for dog walking (and running!). I'm about 10 minute drive from the dog park at Brandi Fenton or the Smiling Dog Ranch Dog Park right off the Loop.

I appreciate understanding in advance any out-of-the-norm behavioral tendencies, especially if it may take time for a pet to warm up to me.
A typical day
I enjoy both high energy and lounging dogs. I can work from home and stay with pets beyond a quick walk. If dogs need to be run, I would happily welcome a 30-45 min run.

Pet care experience
I don't have any pets of my own (yet!) but I love opportunities to take care of others' pets in the meantime. As someone who grew up with dogs, I have always been drawn to pups whether bringing them along on adventures or being homebodies together. Through pet sitting I've gotten to know some exceptional cats, for which I'm grateful! I feel confident administering medicine, I do well with long walks and even runs (I love a good running partner!), I'm strong enough to handle pullers, and I don't mind being patient with pets that may take longer to warm up to new people.

Sara has been my trusted dog and house sitter for years. She is amazing with my dog, Bailey, and I often feel like Bailey would rather have Sara around than me because she is so excited when Sara arrives and depressed when she leaves. I would highly recommend Sara as a pet caregiver. She is reliable, honest, thoughtful and friendly!
Sara was the perfect person to care for our two goldendoodles. She made it easy to communicate the needs of our pups and was flexible with scheduling. We received daily updates and pictures which was appreciated when we were out of town. Overall, 5 stars and highly recommend.
Sara is great with animals! She has watched my two cats multiple times for extended lengths of time. I trust her completely with my animals. She is a great communicator and gives frequent updates. I will definitely book her again.
