Taking care of pets is my job, so I have a lot of flexibility throughout my week. As such, I’m happy to provide services any time of the day or week! I only ask that you give me as much notice as possible for your booking, since my schedule fills up quickly

Please let me know if your pet has any medical needs, dietary restrictions, behavioral issues, or anything else you think is important to know! Things like resource guarding, their behavior towards animals on walks, where they don't like to be pet, etc. are all great things for me to know in order to best prepare for my time with your pet
A typical day
I'm a huge believer in the power of meeting an animal's individual needs, so whether that means taking your dog to the park, on a long walk, practicing training, playing enrichment games, tug of war, fetch, lounging, or anything else, I'm up for it!

Skills & Experience: 🧡After caring for pets my whole life, I took the leap to be a full time pet care professional in 2023. I had a great experience helping people through Rover for my first year. In 2024, I opened my own business for pet care, which still operates outside of Rover ☺️ 🧡Currently own a 6 year old cat & a 3 year old dog 🧡Well versed in R+ (positive reinforcement) training & dog behavior. I'm passionate about force-free care and am unwilling to provide services under other circumstances (this means no shock/choke collars, no pain, threats, intimidation, or coercion tactics) 🧡I work especially well with nervous pets. I have a gentle approach and a lot of patience ☺️ I'm always willing to take the extra time for your pet to get to know me. 🧡Bring on your puppies/tiny alligators! I LOVE training puppies, socializing them, and helping you set them up for a wonderful life 🧡Accepting & accommodating of queer, neurodivergent, and disabled folks. Please know you’re safe booking with me 🫶🏻 🤎How booking works: - I’ll respond to your message within a day and let you know if I’m available - I typically like to schedule a meet & greet with you before confirming the booking to make sure everything’s a good fit! This also gives you the opportunity to show me where things are in your home - If everything is good to go, I’ll confirm the booking on my end, and it’ll have you do the same. Rover will put a hold on your account for the amount paid, although I won’t receive payment until ~2 days after the booking ends - If you have time to leave a review after the booking, I’d super appreciate it ☺️🫶🏻 🤎Drop-ins: I’ll leave pictures and written updates in the rover card that’s sent to you after each visit 🤎House Sittings: I’ll bring my own pillows, blankets, and food. I won’t leave your pet(s) alone for more than 7hrs max a day and for no longer than 3hrs at a time. I’ll leave your house as I found it, if not cleaner. If you would allow it, it’s sometimes nice to have my partner over for dinner just to catch up, but I completely understand if you’d prefer it to be just me. I’ll send you as many updates as you’d like, and walks are included in the house sitting price 👍

I came home to happy, well-cared-for dogs! I received daily updates and photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. Lauren spent lots of time with the dogs, followed their care and medication routines, and even washed my sheets and remade my bed—a wonderful surprise after traveling! I really appreciated the care and attention she gave my boys and my home.
So grateful to have found Lauren. She was incredibly kind, caring, and warm. She went above and beyond to make sure my three large dogs were happy, and comfortable. She sent regular updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that she genuinely cared about my dogs and treated my home with the same level of care.
Lauren is amazing! She was able to get my shy guy to come out of his shell and it has had a lasting impact that he comes out a lot more. She clearly as a magic touch.
Lauren checked in on my senior pup for a couple of days and took such great care! She was prompt and sent thoughtful check-ins and pictures. Highly recommend and will book again next time!
